That's good you left. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to know my abuser was walking the earth as a free person after doing what he did to me for 2 years. This only further reinforces the need for professional and on-going help for your daughter and perhaps even the entire family. If things like this go unresolved, it can fester and stunt the spiritual and temporal growth of people (especially young people).

How did your daughter take to the new husband? What about the other children? Did you get professional help for your daughter and family before getting remarried? How long did you date him before marrying and living together?

If you answered if you've gotten her/the family professional counseling/therapy, I apologize, I didn't see it.
