I dont take interests in guya my age so that would make me something aswell?

No, that's great. It has to do with something else that's age-related, but not age itself... but I said I wouldn't say more so I won't :)

I see many red flags, but you have already made it clear you won't listen.

Do you see the obvious contradiction here in this thread? The OP is 38 and is concerned about what his parents think about his relationship with a 26 y/o woman. Then we have a 17 y/o who is immune to what people think about her relationship with an older man.

On one hand we have an adult who acts with trepidation and on the other a child who acts with impunity.
