Wisdom is just something a person has/ has been gifted.
Knowledge is from experience over the years.

Atleast, that's how i see it 8)

Hi leelee & hope you're well. I do agree with your sentiments, especially the 2nd sentence.
My own work is an example.
Folk in areas of major trust tend to be aged 40+.
That's the age they will get into financial difficulties (especially given the current fiscal climate).
To solve their problems they defraud the accounts they have access to.
They "get away", maybe twice or thrice.
This makes them complacent - they think they're untouchable.
But they become greedy - the more they get, the more they want.
They believe they're not hurting anyone - But there's no such thing as "the victimless crime".
Suddenly they're living beyond their means, on a rollercoaster they can't get off.
Then the red lights flash & we're knocking on their door.
Their average age is now 55 - Older, yes but wiser, no - just stupid

I'm sorry if that's harsh but it's an honest opinion formed over years of facing such folk in custody suites all over Europe

God said that wisdom does not come in the number of years old a person is,for if the wisdom is of God,then a 20 year old can understand as well as a 60 year old.

But of course a 60 year old might have studied the word of God more and has better understanding of it.

God said the wisdom of this world is foolishness to Him.

So if a person is 80 years old,who never followed God and the truth, but a man made religious belief, and ignoring the Bible, even though he is 80 years old,his wisdom would appear more foolish than the younger, for he would be more wise in the ways of the world, man's beliefs,in which the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God.

When it comes to understanding the wisdom of God,the number of years old a person is does not matter.

When it comes to understanding the wisdom of the world, the more old a person is,the more foolish their wisdom, for it is of the world.

But of course they might be more wise to relate that people should get along more and love each other, when older people tend to mellow out more, but their false beliefs and false religious beliefs are foolish.

As a man grows older and wiser, he talks less and says more.

Enough said. Hehehe

Here is how I look at it:

Knowledge is the accumulation of information that a person has received over any period of time.

Wisdom is knowing when and how to apply that knowledge to your life....ESPECIALLY when that information comes from the Word of God :)
