Some of my favourite Christian movies are:

-Fireproof
-Run the Race
-October Baby
-Soul Surfer
-Princess Cut
-Come What May

I listed them least-to-most cheesy for those of you who are afraid of cheddar :)

Some non-Christian movies that were still good are:
-Storm Rider
-Anne of Green Gables
-We Bought a Zoo (this one has a few cuss words)
-Follow the River (some violence)

And last, but most definitely not least, -
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (for any girl (or guy) who wants to have a good laugh!)
The old Anne of Green Gables movies are wonderful. The new t.v. series on Netflix, however, is awful. They changed practically everything that happened in the books and made it all feminist and PC. Blah.

7 Brides for 7 Brothers was the first movie I "made" my husband watch with me (well, actually at that time he was my fiancé and he later said he thought I was trying to "tell him something" about wanting to get married. lol). We decided to follow the scheme of naming our kids alphabetically after watching that movie.
As an aside, it could be said that the idea behind 7 Brides for 7 Brothers came from Judges 21. ;)

Never thought about the biblical justification for that movie, I'll have to try that on my dad!
As for the new 'Anne of Green Gables', I agree 100%. The old version is so much better done, and has much more depth to it. I don't think I'll ever NOT like them!

I actually saw 7 Brides for 7 Brothers years ago during movie night. I'm thinking it was some sort of chick flick. Your following the alphabetical scheme for the naming of children is kind of neat.
