Well yeah they should. But really there isn’t much you can do. I highly doubt abortion will be against the law any time soon. So the sensible thing to do is to not have sex with women who would have an abortion.
Unfortunately, my choice to not have sex with women who would/could/might have an abortion (murder our child) does not even slow down the slaughter of these children. However, your attitude that men should not have any say in whether a little girl or a little boy gets harmed does. That is the attitude that keeps this kind of atrocity alive. That is the kind of attitude that was going around in Nazi Germany when so many Jewish men, women, and children were being harmed and nobody was standing up for them. Now it is happening right here in America. Land of the free.

Oh no...am I a Nazi now? :rolleyes::oops:
What I meant was that it seems futile to fight against abortions. I highly doubt it will become illegal to have them. So the best plan of action is to not sleep with women who would get them.
I did not say abortion is a right or that women should get them. On the contrary, I am pretty Conservative with my thinking. I do, however, feel that if men are so worried about their women having abortions...they shouldn't sleep with said women in the first place.

If y'all would stop electing commies to the white house and Senate, you could get a supreme court that would reverse on Row v Wade. It really was a bad ruling. Even left leaning scholars know this. It would put abortion right where it belongs, to the states.

No it isn't.. not in ALL states anyway..

And if men and women could keep their clothes on, legs closed and keep their dingles in their pants, then there would be alot less abortions...

I take issue with the red highlighted portion of your post. MOST women wouldn't get an abortion, unless it's from a traumatic instance such as rape or molestation. Yes there are many who get pregnant from spontaneous, unprotected sex and THOSE are usually the ones who do get abortions.. Like I said in my previous posts, IF men kept their dingles in their pants, IF women kept their legs closed and IF they used protection, there'd be fewer ooops babies and far fewer abortions..

I don't understand why you take issue with my post if everything you said, I agree with. I am basically telling men that if they don't want their babies murdered...then they shouldn't sleep with a woman who is a hussy.

We are in agreement with this. Each state should chose whether abortion is legal or illegal. There are probably a few states where it is actually illegal but the state refuses to enforce existing law.

The argument I often hear from "pro-choice" activists is that it is a (pregnant) woman's right to choose what happens to her body. I agree; she can do with her body whatever she likes.

However, the baby growing inside her is NOT her body.

Dino,
we, hub and I love you very much, but you are mistaken in your opinion-post -
when a woman is impregnated by a 'man's sperm' then the child that she is carrying can 'only live' if it is
inside of her 'body'...end of story!!!

Men (and women) don't think about babies when they're rolling in the hay. The woman may not be a hussy. Pregnancy usually results from negligent unprotected sex. And men can be hussies too.. lol

Hummmmmmm....

Well it is legal for me to shoot and kill any person that breaks into my home and tries to endanger me and my family but God’s commandments say different!

God makes it clear that it is only through adulterous acts that gives a person release from a marriage but Divorce is legal and people do it everyday!

So should abortion be legal...No but that is what makes us a imperfect people loved by a perfect God! None of us is without sin and so I choose not to point fingers. The last thing I would want is for any woman to feel like they could never be loved my God when as a Christian I know differently!

One more question....Should premarital sex be illegal?

This would most likely cut down on abortions right. JUST A THOUGHT??

God gives its His prerogative to take, not man's. Man should know always he needs to be a good steward of life be it a baby or adult, life giver and taker is God. Scripture is very clear well before the body is knit in ones mothers womb. We can discuss this with scripture on a one on one. Not in public as God's Word is not to be taken lightly. Here is a clue...He knew me before the foundations of the earth....that has a lot of meaning. Think about it. Pro-life.

“ it’s my body I can do what I like”.

If it was your body, you’d be the one dying..

To even begin enforcing that would require a total invasion of privacy. Essentially a thought police.
Its reasonable to believe the average person won't murder another in private. Yet how would you enforce not having sex? Either cameras in every home and every nook and cranny or a forced medication designed to remove sex drive.
Working towards such a thing removes personal freedoms and works towards a dystopian nightmare with big brother in charge.

Right! It takes away freedom of choice.

We’re not talking about the average person we are talking about “Christians”. So making abortions or premarital sex (which btw WOULD be impossible to manage) illegal wouldn’t/shouldn’t change what a Christian ought to do.

Having the freedom of choice allows us to willingly follow God’s word. If your following the Big Book why do you need secular laws to tell you how you should behave? My point was if we as Christians would follow the Bible and keep sex sacred we wouldn’t need a law for abortion. Anyone outside of Christianity they can’t be held to the same standard because they yet don’t know our Heavenly Father

Granted I’m human so I don’t follow it perfectly but certainly I don’t need big brother telling me how to live. Jesus has already walked it out perfectly.

ABSOLUTELY NOT !

This world and some women will give all sorts of false reasons why abortion should be legal ...
1) It is my body, I should be able to do with it as I wish ...
2) God gives me free will to do what I want ... etc.

First of all, a child does not firstly belong to any parent ... God clearly states that "all children" belong to Him before they belong to any parent ... Therefore, a woman is not simply deciding what she can do with her own body ... She is carrying another body, another heart and another soul within her ... A body, a heart and a soul that first and foremost belongs unto God ... She is not simply dealing with her own body, so this nullifies false argument number 1 ...

God does give a person free will to do as they choose with their own body and free will to believe as they choose ... However, God does not give a person any free will to murder another human being ... This nullifies false argument number 2 ...

How many people are willing to stand up and admit that abortion is a clear and undeniable abomination of the LORD ? ...

And how many people would like to offer some type of defense for it ? ...
Does not God give free will full stop?
Did not Cain kill Abel? Was that not murder?

If God did not give free will when it comes to murder then it would never happen..

Free will is free will to do what you want, whether it be theft, adultery, lying, gossip and so on. Can we say the same that it would never happen?

We can't because it does happen.

What I find interesting is point 2

If a genuine beliver believes such a thing why would they abort a child?
I've never met one and I knew many who have given birth to babies who would be disabled, down syndrome.

We have a couple in our church who were asked by doctor to abort their child because it's heart was defective and it would die within weeks after birth.

They said NO.

He is now 3 years old.

Hitler killed millions of Jews.
Stalin killed many.
And so on.

There is no defence of abortion, murder is murder. Whether it be in the womb or outside of it.

Protecting children from harm is not solely a "Christian" activity.
