I am deeply touched to "hear" you say that you believe God brought me to this site to connect you with this book and that I have been used of him to help you in some small way. It is confirmation to me that the LORD has a purpose for me here. I got upset when I went to find the book in my bookshelf but then finally found it in my nightstand drawer. I have kept it close since coming upon it at a thrift store. As far as Christian self-help books go, it's incomparable in my opinion. I truly hope you can find a copy soon. Happy weekend to you! I will keep you all in my prayers--GOD BLESS

Hi not read the original article only the comment by Stephen. I unfortunately like you guys have also been abandoned by my wife. I am taking my time with the whole thing and yes just like Stephen has said am getting closer to God. I agree just give it time for the moment and pray. Not sure what the Lord wants from me at the moment but stay close to him

What part of "please do not respond to any more of my posts" do you not understand? I do not know how to "feel free it ignore". I don't know what that means. Feel free to post on this public "furum" all I can do is simply ask you not to post on this thread. If you wish to continue to do so and embarrass yourself that is your decision. I just ask that you take your negativity elsewhere.

So...if you are still unsure what I meant to say to you (I don't care if you don't understand anything that was not meant for you) I will say as simple as I possibly can. Do not make any comments to me or respond to any of my posts. If you don't understand that then something is seriously wrong with you, other than you just being an annoying person.

Thanks.
Really???Remuss... grow up... act like a mature man and not a 12 year old who wants his way....quit spattering me with YOUR negativity. Ya can't feel free to ignore??? Poor fella... gotta have yer way and willing to use slander tactic to get it? Sorry but you are not entitled to banish me from this thread or any other, the world does not revolve around you. So either learn how to "feel free to ignore" or Don't... but if not... do expect us to have these little discussions now and then... because you won't be permitted to talk at me in the slanderous way you have adopted...K?

Sorry Bazman...
It does seem like this problem is becoming more frequent... unfortunately. Press in to Him and be strengthened in Christ in the meantime.

You are 100% correct with this. I won't say how I know this to be sure, but someone she knows, trusts, and has the utmost respect for told her this exact thing. Unfortunately, she fed into it and...well, here we are. Great insight.
Then i believe its a two thing situation, one thing about marriage i learnt is OPEN COMMUNICATION, the ability to share whats inside each and everyones hearts, and the choice to humble up before each other and GOD. what i know is that Marriage is a two way thing, and i pray GOD brings you two together to talk about this with a humble heart, and well to be even strongly founded in the Word of GOD.

Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

I don't have any advice to offer that hasn't already been said but just wanted to add my best wishes to your family, whichever form it may take. Trust in God and he won't steer you wrong. x

You are right about lying lips.

Your interpretation of "judging" is an error... christians are to judge EVERYTHING using scripture as our measure. YOu would benefit from studying the bible more carefully.

Matt 7:1-5 Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

James 4 :11-12 Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbour?

Romans 2:1-3 Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgement on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgement of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgement of God?

Eph 4: 29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

John 8:7 And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her."

2 Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Romans 12:16-19 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honourable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

Isaiah 11:3 And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear

John 8: 15-16 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.

Matt 12: 36-37 I tell you, on the day of judgement people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

I know what they mean. I also know that you like to argue, notice the person I was actually calling out has not replied? I will not argue this with you but I do have a question, when you stand on the day of judgement before God and he asks you about this conversation how are you going to reply?

THE person you originally responded to is not necessarily sitting at the edge of her seat waiting to see if anyone responded and may likely be going on with their day... so what ever the significance you infer from having not responded, I don't know???
Asserting that I like to argrue is an error... and is a rather predictive testimony to what you "KNOW". IF God were to ask me about this conversation I expect he would actually ask in a manner as the "frame" the point he was getting at, as opposed to the overly broad and vague suggestion you have made to me. Regarding judgement day... I get a stamp of approval. :)
As for those scriptures... keep studying... you will gain understanding eventually

I am quite aware the person may not be waiting to reply, my point was that my disagreement was with that person. I do not appreciate being patronised and as such am choosing to no longer be a part of this thread.

Sometimes the most simplest of advice can be the most needed at the right time. Thank you so, much for reminding me that God won't steer me wrong. I needed that at this very minute.

God bless you, Lee Lee.
