Well you are welcome here, and I see you for you. I don't see you for your sin whether that is homosexuality, or whether you smoke, or swear, or eat bloody meat, or watch porn, or defile your own body. And those who come to chasten you, are they so pure? Are they without sin?

I really just don't think God says, go out and discriminate, go out and push people into a corner, go out and scapegoat others for your own sins, go out and wait for people to say something you don't like and then exaggerate it so you can defile them, revealing your actual disposition.

What automatically comes to peoples mind with a gay person, is that while they have a desire for the same sex, is that they are living some prolific gay sex life and style. It's not the way I see it. I don't see you as an 'it'. So what is your story? I would prefer to allow you to have your side of the story. To think that there are not good and bad homosexuals, and just basically if you are homosexual you are 'going to hell' (as much as they are going to heaven), is pure hypocrisy.

One can feel a desire and not act on it, and that is God's power at work. A person, whether gay or not, with a sinful lifestyle or not, can still do God's work, even if it is simply highlighting Christian bigotry.

Lol it's a mystery god knows why just for us to not judge or run down people our job here is to love ,I'm a strong believer in love, love is very precious to us all it's a free gift many of us take for granted I feel very strongly toward masculinity I'd say I'm a male with female needs if that makes sense !! I'm gay! I can't explain that to you its difficult... But hey if me being so honest helps someone struggling at a point in there lives shur isn't that what life is about giving love freely then I endorse that I just don't like people gay bashing..
Well I wonder how you can have female needs seeing that you are not female? I suppose to go to the heart of the matter; why do you think you feel female? Or to put it another way; why do you identify with femininity? Is it like you have been ashamed of your masculinity? Is it you are simply curious about the women? Is it that you didn't have a strong father? Is it that you had an over-bearing mother? Is it that you are or at one time were uncomfortable with your own God-given body?

I'm just wondering, it's okay if it is difficult to put into words, just try to the best of your ability. I am mostly curious because a lot of what you say here in response is a lot of what I have heard all ready from others in my generation that come from an earthly church background growing up and have been turned away into this thing, hence the reasoning for the questions I ask. Indeed honesty is fine. To be frank I think you are confused, but indeed I do perceive you are at least trying to be honest, which that is good, and thank you for your honesty and replies, though as you say it might seem hard for you to frame the thoughts and words.

Thanks mj007 that really helped me there, since when does any man know what's good for him in fairness! I suppose I grew up with alot of violence in my home life alot of negative vibes my dad was very aggressive didn't show much love but I knew he loved me does that make sense? Maybe now that I think of it was that why I started having feelings for men bcos I feel I'm filling the need for my dad's love in some way I feel safe with the same sex I feel safe with a man more so than a woman, the human mind is very complex... I feel that people are programmed to think of gay people as dirty or orgys and all this sort of thing when really I'm just like you i just want to be loved that's what it is were all filling our lives with the void of not having god in the flesh here with us . God is masculine and I'm a male so why am I drawn to it maybe a longing to be with god because he's masculine?

God hates sin. Also defending sin. He speaks against homosexuality also in the new testament
Romans 1 24 & 25
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Of course Jesus loves you. That doesn't mean he has to love ALL your behaviour. You can't impose a worldly, corrupt morality onto God. Our goal is to let him change us not the other way around. You like God's message of love, good. That doesn't give you a licence to sin though. You can't get away with trying to shame other Christians into approving sin by claiming that would be 'love and compassion'. It doesn't work.

In your OP you rightly express that you have the same rights as everyone else. If you are speaking as a Christian, that's true. You also have the same responsibility as everyone else to try to turn from the ways of the flesh and walk with The Lord. You can't just select the parts of Jesus you like and throw away the rest.

Do you believe The Bible is the literal perfect word of God? Or do you believe it was written by "men" and influenced by there imperfect feelings and opinions? OT and/or NT, are they free of errors? Just wondering what your faith foundation looks like.

Well people have a good point questioning your belief due to what your saying here. Your showing an unteachable spirit and try to tell us that God is okay with sin. And that is a bold lie. God hates sin. EVERY SIN and ur trying to excuse it like the devil does.
Repentence is nowhere in what you say. God is not only about love but also about judgement

To love a person is not sin is what I'm trying to say I don't think god said that I don't , why would he limit love like that why would god view me loving a man as a sin when love is god. Why do you think you are the only ones who are right and refuse everything I say I know god is just and righteous and holy I love him. god's issue is with satan he's the one lying trying to fool the world with lies he's trying to get us to sin. Is it not possible that in all that is written in the Bible that some of it could have been influenced the men who wrote it were men I believe some of it but not all.

Look here Michael.
No one is being narrow minded. I be willing to bet, some of the members on this site have some homosexuals in their life they love and care about, me included, but God doesn't make homosexuals. God doesn't make any sinners, that's something we do on our own, all by ourselves. Just about every Christian believes the bible is the word of God. You're not going to get away with telling us something that isn't so. Some here won't like you, I'll be your friend, but nothing in the bible is supporting your claim that God made you homosexual. If you want to live that life, it's up to you.

All your why questions are answered in The Bible that we believe is God's literal word. You have chosen to trust your personal judgement instead.

I'll use my personal judgement to answer your questions. The entire dynamic of sex is thrown off by your matching parts, we were not made to engage in these activities. There is no chance of pregnancy, once again the entire dynamic of sex and also the relationship is thrown off.

There is beauty and an unmatchable bond between the relationship of a physical man and a physical woman (XX and XY), that no other combinations can ever hope to achieve. The "dichotomy of the sexes", "thesis, antithesis, and synthesis." These cannot be achieved in the manner you believe or are hoping, so God has forbidden your activities.

I understand you are uncomfortable with women or your own masculinity (from what I read from your posts not judging), but you should work on these rather than adopting new age beliefs and denying the validity of The Bible. There are plenty of reformed gay women out there who would accept your past, and even "straight" women too, you do not have to feel like your decision is final.

We tell you that you are wrong and should turn away from sin out of love for your earthly life and for your eternal soul. This is the kind of love we provide to you, not "acceptance" and a lack of judgement that you identify as love. To us this is what is best for you and how to serve the greater good in the world and also for you.

I hope you at the very least understand we tell you that you sin out of love for you, that is where are hearts are at.

This is the source of the problem, a lack of faith. I'm glad you have been truthful about your beliefs.

The institution of religion created purgatory, this is not founded in scripture/The Bible. Don't condemn The Bible for the lies of the institution. There is no reason to hold the Bible accountable for what organized religions have done in it's name.

I'm gay because God made me this way it's more than a feeling it's a desire.,.. it's not lust I feel connected to my feminine side and my masculine side i don't believe the world made me gay I feel God made me gay.
You have been listening to Satan.
Remember he is a liar and a murderer.

There is a pathway that seems right to a man,
but in the end it's a road to death.
Proverbs 14:12 also 16:25

I'm a bit confused here. When did purgatory get involved with this? By all means, love who ever you want. Some of the best wingmen I've ever had were queer, but God isn't down with it. By the way, in the English language, the God of Abraham is spelled with a capital G, regardless of the placement in a sentence. God is a noun, like a person's name. It's still taught that way in secular public schools. If writing about any other deity, god is spelled with a little g.

Listen im gay I'm glad I'm not apoligising to anyone I'm not going to say sorry for something I did not to the best of my knowledge choose i will share some scripture I believe with all i am , Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
