What is the point of daily suffering?
you say you are a Christian. are you a BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN? for example, i've heard catholics call themselves Christians. they are not Christian. if they were, they would listen to the Holy Spirit's nudging telling them to get out of the catholic religion because that is a man made religion. they wouldn't be saying the hail mary prayer & asking a priest to forgive sins & on & on it goes with them. the only Christians are born again Christians. the more a Christian surrenders his or her life, the more you draw closer to Jesus & the better chance you have of understanding the Bible. a person must possess the H.S., that is the H.S. living inside of you, to be Christian.

At my tender age of 70 lol I have been to hell and back!! So many stories I could tell you about suffering, but you wish to know the reason. Here are some of the reasons one has to suffer. When I claimed to be a believer at 22, yes, I was a slow learner! lol. Like most who first become one you are on fire for Jesus!

I sure was, but after a year I started to have many problems money wise, health wise. Jesus wants something most people never give him!! TIME!!! When you have a best friend, you tend to spend a great deal of time around them, your more secure around him or her, your more confident around them as well! Only when things go wrong does one cry out to God asking what the hell Lord!!

Why me!! What did I do that was so wrong that I am going through such tough times! In prayer my answer finally came, so I will share what I received from the Lord and hope this gives you some comfort! " My son, faith is not measured by good times but rather testing one's faith in me, you must learn for yourself how much you both love me and!! TRUST ME!!Jesus went through many trails are you better then him??

My children suffer most of the time because they are concerned only about self rather than others, be a blessing to others and you shall receive that which you give!" I learned the hard way, but!!! I did learn!! And so, it was things even got tougher, but I placed my faith in God's Word! The Lord cannot go against his promises!! It may take a while as it did for me, but the darker things seem the closer you become to the light of both hope and freedom through our blessed Jesus! Faith is not about how we feel!! Faith is about certainty. Faith is established through staying in God's HOLY WORD!! DAILY!!(James 1:2-4!!)

May the Lord stay both in your mind and in your heart, you are never alone no matter how you feel!! My hope is that will get you moving forward again through our Jesus!! I am here as well to pick you up, as others picked me up to keep moving forward!! EVER FORWARD through our Jesus!!

We live in a broken world. The Bible says Satan is the prince of this world. I think suffering sets us off this world and sets our eyes on Jesus.

Hi sister Penny, I agree it can do that but for some who are weak minded as I was once as a believer it can make you very angry! And go back or as the Word of God says turning back, and we know the result of doing that!! I know!! I almost turned into that pillar of salt once!! Yikes!! But thanks be to our Lord Jesus!! I came back, and stronger than ever now!!(Jude 1:17-24!!) It took Jesus himself to snatch me out of the fire, and no one on this earth is more thankful than I!!!! Blessing to you!!

Thank you 😊. I think if you live for Christ, people will abuse you because you are not like them. This has happened to me. But we will blessed.

Remember that this world has fallen into sin causing it to become broken and imperfect and not of God. In such a world, things like suffering, sickness and many other hardships exist because this world has become tainted by sin. As God’s children, we must accept and endure these hardships without questioning our faith and always look to him. These thoughts such as "why does God let these horrible things happen?", are negative thoughts and we are questioning our trust in him. These thoughts are planted in our minds by the enemy to pull us away from God. Love God no matter what. Have faith in Jesus Christ no matter what. Resist these negative thoughts and don’t let them blind you from the truth. We also must understand that Jesus died for us on the cross. He has so much love for us that he put us before himself and took our punishment of death upon himself regardless of what suffering and sadness he had to go through. Now we must show God our love for him no matter what hardships we have to go through in this temporary life.

according to some teachings, by suffering, your soul is purified and gets in the astral, back to the closeness of God, who has some unconfessed sins, or is constantly doing some bad thing, then something bad will most likely happen to him, which will start to equalize

Sounds like you're describing karma.

you can prevent this misfortune if you have truly repented, and above all you no longer commit that sin ... or if you have been to a good confession
