I guess I never thought of it before. I suppose holding a male baby down and removing his foreskin is also a human rights violation? The argument that it is beneficial for hygiene and does not decrease sensitivity might make it more acceptable. Also it is a religious practice. I will say this is one of those occasions where vigilantism will prove more successful than a court of law. Eye for an eye....private part for private part.
I think it is satanic to ignore the obvious differences between male and female, and feminism is a cult-like-ideology that leads to this practice. God gives gender roles, and it is only the corrupted governments of the world that try to pretend that these different creations should be the same. To play their game empowers them.

We're not living in a theocracy and it's not possible in the US. Nor is possible not to have women vote. Too many women are single or divorced and rely on no men. They have a right to be represented. Monarchy was given to the Jews because it was what they wanted, not because it was what God wanted. So no a monarchy is no good either, no different than having a president.
We're not living in a theocracy and it's not possible in the US.

The future state of things that we are moving toward is a theocracy and monarchy, as Christ the Son rules.

So where do you get this nonsense about women abusing men? I am in 2 groups on FB for people who have been hurt by narcissists. Both groups have over 20,000 members. I would say there is one man per 1000 woman. So 20 men in each group.

And the woman who abuse these men are not doing it because they think they are superior, but because they are self centred narcissists. As for the 19,980 women, they are just being belittled. Narcissistic husbands are stealing from them, beating them senseless and terrifying them with taking away their children, even though they don't want them.

Most are afraid to leave their husbands because they have no money, no jobs and no place to go. Because they are afraid their husbands will chase them down and kill them. Which has actually happened in those groups. Some hope and pray to Jesus their cruel husbands will change. But, their husbands don't have souls, nothing for them to change.

People are so stupid on this thread it boogies me! Like woman make up their lesser wages with maternity leave. Wouldn't that be nice? I was paid equally in my union. But out of 4 children I was only working for one, and only 60%. Now, in Canada, men can get paternity leave. So much for the lie of women making up for being paid less, but "It's ok!" No, it is not. Seriously, the average mom has 2 or less children. So at most, a 10 month to 12 month maternity leave, where she takes care of the baby.

My world is very Biblical. But not an Old Testament or even a first century view. A lot of 1st century rules about women came out Greek and Roman cultures, where men had wives to run their households, and have babies. The Greeks consorted with men, the Romans with women who were courtesans. As for the Hebrew culture, it was swallowed up by Alexander the Great, who Hellenized the world. That including strange surgeries to attach foreskins, because the Greek worshipped the male body, and to be circumcised meant damage.

I think Paul was very revolutionary, when he wrote Eph 5:25-26. Imagine a man was supposed to love his wife as Christ loved the church. That is a Biblical model. And just a few verses earlier, Paul wrote in Eph 5:21, that the body of Christ should submit one to another.

"and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ." Eph 5:21

As for submitting or hypostasis. ὑποτασσόμενοι in verse 21, but not not appearing at all in verse 22.

No word submission in verse 5:22 in Ephesians, because the section was a teaching section for men and how to treat their wives. And it was not with abuse, terror or something else.

The women in those days had no right to an education. Roman women went from being the property of their fathers to being the property of their husbands. Greek women counted for nothing. And by 70 AD, the church which had originated in Jerusalem was gone and the people dispersed.

So are all you men looking for the perfect obedient 1950's wife? My mother was one. She was a brilliant woman, probably smarter than my dad with all his degrees and publications, but women stayed home, so that's what she did. Stayed home. She spent 30 years raising children. Except they were gone all day so she took up golfing, curling and badminton. She never went back and got her university education. She was alone a lot and developed OCD. Then she got depressed. She stayed married to my father for 63 years, but she woke up one day and realized she had wasted most of her life.

The sad thing about stay at home mom's? Their husbands die. Simple facts of life. Men die so much younger. That includes women who work. When I was a chaplain in long term care, there we're 99 women for every man. Those 98 were widows. So those of you who think marriage is about women serving their husbands, not having outside interests, these women have nothing when their husbands die. 30 years taking care of children, on the high end, 50-60 years living empty years. My mom is 90, still going strong, despite 2 bad falls and breaking her pelvis and hips in 4 places. She's up walking and getting strong.

Women have so much to offer to the Kingdom of God. Don't force them into a 1950's model, or worse, a medieval model or a Greek or Roman one. The genie is out of the box! I can serve God and my husband, and learn theology. But someone who stands behind women and allows them to learn, grow and serve God side by side, that is a proper Christian marriage today. God doesn't change, but he knows societies and people change. He is the one moving us forward, and wanting dynamic marriages for his people, so that the Kingdom of God would continue to spread!
This was both beautiful and sad. Thanks for writing this❤️.

I’m not arguing with your post. I think it is well written. There are a couple of things that may need consideration. First about the 1/1000 men/women narcissist victims. This statistic is erroneous. Men usually don’t talk through problems like women do. If their is a male who feels controlled, manipulated and threatened by his wife, he’s probably not on Facebook about it. Second, the proverbs 31 woman isn’t sitting at home waiting for her husband to come home from work with slippers in hand and table set for dinner. She is industrious and self employed and a fantastic cheerleader and support for her husband. I think many women out there would benefit from getting mentored by a woman who has finished raising her own children. Women used to have stay at home community, now it’s a “best mom” competition on “Fakebook”. Women thrive in groups. They were never supposed to be isolated. I guess my point is that there isn’t an either/or situation here. It’s not join the workforce or be isolated in a house doing perpetual chores. When women had to make their own bread and scrub clothes on a washboard, homemaker was a full time job. I can pack lunches, make a hot breakfast, clean the house, two loads of laundry (put away even) and have dinner oven ready by 11 am. I am one of those dudes who stayed home because my wife worked in the US and we live in Canada. By my last parental leave I was doing this for 4 children. It sucked. I hated it, but it made more sense than paying for childcare. I have no maternal instincts. Meanwhile my wife was upset because the kids bonded with me more. The point....this was a fail for equal rights in my opinion. Also, once the work is done “feed yourself”. Do a Bible study, visit your parents or a friend. Go for walk or to the gym or to the show. Take a class, find a hobby. Start a blog or small business. There are so many options available for women because of women’s rights. Staying at home now makes more sense so the home can be more harmonious and the woman has better opportunity to be fulfilled, not just earn a pay check.

That is all well and good. But what is happening in this country is that men hav'nt lived up to this agreement. And because of this, It made it nearly impossible to get my daughter, even if I was living up to what I was supposed to . The, Woulda, coulda, shoulda's are'nt happening anymore. Everyone's situation in this life is unique.
Are you referring to custody or reasonable visitation rights for dads that are divorced? Yeah, I know all about that from first-hand experience. The thing about equal rights of the sexes is that it is a two-way street. In the US, in regards to cases of divorce and child custody the men are usually treated as less than equal at best and suspect at worse.

This is pretty funny. :D I did not know men were so weak.

Yes they are probably weaker than women in other aspects. Did you know that suicide rate in men is higher than women? Most women today have this victim mentality since they are supposed to be the weaker being compared to men. But it is sad that most women today are not that innocent as what many here believe. Being the bread winner does not entitle women to be abusive to their husband.

Being the bread winner does not entitle women to be abusive to their husband.
I think abusive is not the right word, but she may become frustrated and may take out her anger at him. Obviously this will affect the marriage. Women breadwinners do become resentful if they are supporting the family, but at the same time expected to prepare all the meals, run all the errands, do all the cleaning, etc. A lot of husbands believe that the wife is responsible for all of these tasks even if she is working full-time. Other than that, I don't see how a woman who makes more money than her husband would be abusive, any more than a breadwinner husband would be abusive towards his wife. A lot of women do subconsciously expect their husbands to be leader, "head of household."

Men don't seek help as much; they bottle everything up compared to women; that's why some men have trouble handling hardships. Women have a larger social networks in general, and more willing to seeking counseling.

I don't know too many women playing victim mentality, damsel in distress, etc.

For the Christian women do you want 100% equality within your country to that of man? Do you want a slight increase in equality? Or are you happy where you are?

How does your Biblical worldview see the feminist movements of today? Reasonable or radical?
Equality? Honstly? This can only be if the man is getting children.

I would have to see that proof. There was a law preventing parents from forcing it on their daughters. I guess if some woman wanted to massacre her g-spot then she would have every right as a man who wanted to chop his privates off.
An anatomy lesson is required here, but I am not providing it ;):geek::censored::giggle::devilish:

In my lifetime, 90% of marriages ended because of an unfaithful spouse.

I think an interesting statistic would be how the money is divided when both are working. Although my wife may make as much as 10% more a year than I do she probably spends 5 times more on herself than I do. She sees all the money I make as family money and all the money she makes as hers. There is definitely a sense of power or entitlement to her spending because she makes more. Mind you she is not by any means supporting me. It’s funny because you would expect more marital struggles over money be because of lack. We manage to argue over surplus.

That is the worse thing that a spouse could possibly do as it destroys the marital trust that can never be repaired. Without trust there is no foundation to base the marriage on. If you love your spouse you wouldn't even think about cheating let alone actually do it.

Probably a reference to child custody in a divorce. In most cases, the man gets the short end of stick. Women generally get the kids by a default stance of the state of residence regardless of whether or not the man is a good provider and parent to his children. That's just the way that it is. It's an inequality for the man.

Perhaps your end game varies one from the other? For instance, are you wanting to save at least some of the money she spends, or do you see her expenditures as frivolous? You do not need to answer, I am not grilling you, more "thinking out loud" :D

Ah.. so that begs the question are men less in equality compared to women? Or both sides need common sense improvements?

I’m not saying infidelity isn’t horrible but I think it depends how much your love is expressed through sexuality. Nobody wants to get cheated on but I think there are worse things. If my wife was tempted from some guy at work and they had an affair, I’d be upset sure. If I found out she was making fun of me and calling me a loser or something to my children I would be crushed. Maybe it just depends where your pride is, or where your insecurities are.
