First of all, I'd ask you kindly to not make such assumptions about people in here. The title of this thread is quite judgemental and offensive in itself...just saying. I know you're upset, but please be more careful in future. Now, let me respond to your concern:

Okay, sometimes the chat rooms get REALLY busy. We have had people complain in the past about similar things.

You may have written in the room asking for prayer, if no-one responds, it doesn't mean they don't care- maybe no-one saw your request. The rooms are anabled with both text and audio capabilites. it's very easy for comments in text to get overlooked, if a conversation is taking place on audio which is capturing everyones attention.

I know I have missed many comments people have made, which have even been directed to me, because there's so much going on, or I'm busy with some other issue. Just be patient. Assuming no one cares is only going to make you more anxious.

Also, it's important to remember many people will pray, but they may not always tell you. If you posted your request in forums, some people will reply... but rest assured there are many others silently sitting at their computer praying, but not writing a physical response to your thread.

Remember too, God moves in His own time. I do not know what your prayer request is, but believe me, I do know what it is to go through hard times, to be anxious and feel like no-one is listening- especially God. But He is, He just doesn't always answer immediately- because even though we often don't realise it, HIS timing is best. God has a plan and purpose for every one of us, in every aspect of our lives. Sometimes, that's hard to see. Sometimes, we have to experience a lot of junk and pain and hard times, in order for Him to work in our lives...we all need moulding.

Stay encouraged. Just as God loves you, so do we.

i think that is just a reminder for us that we are not here to be served but to serve.. that nobody may have any complaint against us..... I don't remember where exacty this is fro the bible but it's there... :)
That is so true!
Judgedebra, you have made me consider how much time I spend praying for others & how much time I spend giving my opinion on comments made. Thank you for having the courage to speak up!

I put in a prayer request 24 minutes ago and nobody has even come in to pray, but somebody comes in 3 minutes later because they want to know why they are suffering, and 5 people replied to him. That tells me alot about this christian chat NOBODY REALLY CARES ABOUT PRAYING FOR PEOPLE UNLESS THEY CAN PUFF THEMSELVES UP WITH WHAT THEY THINK THEY KNOW ABOUT THE BIBLE.
will said sister but please forgive me i do not go in to that room i will take a look now!

I do the same as many of the others most of the time. I read a post and can't seem to find the right words, so I just pray. I'm learning that just posting that fact can be encouraging to one in crisis.

Let us all remember that the Lord said we would be known by our love for one another.

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech [be] alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

2 Timothy 2:24-26 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

The original poster is obviously struggling with a situation and may be having a bad day or days which would explain the way in which the original post was written. Can we not look beyond what was said and see the hurt and the desperation for an answer from God? and not be so defensive. Possibly point the person in the right direction with the word of God ...kind words or a prayer whether silent or written.

Surely we all have gone through things where we may have been discouraged or felt weak. We are all at different points in our walk with God. Showing someone the same Grace that God has shown to us as none is perfect or without a fault is a blessing.

Galatians 6:6 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Romans 15:1 We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves. We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord.

Grace and Peace
