R. I. P. Peter Yarrow (May 31, 1938 – January 7, 2025), an American singer and songwriter who
found fame as a member of the 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary. Yarrow co-wrote (with
Lenny Lipton) one of the group's best known hits, "Puff, the Magic Dragon" (1963). He was
also a political activist and supported causes that ranged from opposition to the Vietnam
War to school anti-bullying programs. Paul Stooke, also of Peter, Paul and Mary, wrote
"Wedding Song (There Is Love)" for Peter Yarrow's marriage to Mary Beth McCarthy in 1969.

Rod Stewart turned 80 a couple of days ago... Every Picture Tells a Story is the third
studio album by British singer-songwriter Rod Stewart, released on 28 May 1971.
Title song
by Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood, it went to number one on both the UK
and US charts and finished third in the Jazz & Pop critics' poll for best album of 1971.
Rod Stewart has candidly opened up about his health concerns, revealing to fans that
he feels his "days were numbered" ahead of his 80th birthday. Despite health challenges,
with tour cancellations due to strep throat and Covid-19, he maintains, "I have no desire to retire."

that tune & a bunch of others are top notch. i saw him back in 1982 at the Glens Falls Civic Center in New York. he was the 1st artist i saw using a modern PA system without stage amps. he also played a bit over 2 hours which was more than union regulations. a fine show it was.

The Band - Chest Fever From the debut album 'Music From Big Pink' (1968)

R.I.P. Eric Garth Hudson CM (August 2, 1937 – January 21, 2025), a Canadian multi-instrumentalist
best known as the keyboardist and occasional saxophonist for the rock group The Band, for which
he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. A principal architect of the group's
sound and described as "the most brilliant organist in the rock world" by Keyboard magazine,
HIS other primary instruments were piano, accordion, electronic keyboards, and saxophones.
Hudson was the last living original member of the Band. Hudson died in his sleep at a
nursing home in Woodstock, New York, on January 21, 2025, at the age of 87. <= wiki
