It was the year that I first joined the military. I was 17 years old at the time. This was near the end of the Viet Nam War. Also, my girlfriend ditched me for my best friend. A few years later I met this friend. This was after their divorce. He said that he was sorry for what he had done. I told him that he spared me years of anguish as he took my place and actually did me a favor.

"The Lion Sleeps Tonight" was originally written (in Zulu) and recorded in 1939 by Solomon Linda.
It was subsequently adapted and covered internationally by many pop and folk artists. In 1961,
a version adapted into English with the title "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by the doo-wop group the
Tokens became a number-one hit in the United States. It earned millions in royalties from cover

During the late 1950s and early 1960s, James Darren had notable starring and supporting roles in films including the youth and beach-culture film Gidget (1959) and its sequels. He also appeared in the The Gene Krupa Story (1959), All the Young Men (1960), The Guns of Navarone (1961), and Diamond Head (1962). As a teen pop singer, he sang hit singles including "Goodbye Cruel World" in 1961 [video above]. He later became more active in television, starring as Dr. Anthony Newman in the science fiction series The Time Tunnel (1966–1967). He had the regular role of Officer James Corrigan in the police drama T. J. Hooker (1983–1986) and performed as Vic Fontaine, a recurring role in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1998–1999). He was caricatured as teen idol "Jimmy Darrock" on an episode of The Flintstones, and was the singing voice of Yogi Bear in the 1964 theatrical feature, Hey There, It's Yogi Bear! Sourced from wiki

American business executive who was the chief executive officer of YouTube from 2014 to 2023.
Wojcicki joined Google in 1999 as its 16th employee and played a significant role in the company's
early growth, including overseeing the acquisition of YouTube in 2006. Under her leadership, YouTube
expanded significantly, becoming one of the most influential platforms for video sharing globally. Her
net worth was estimated at $765 million in 2022. She passed at the age of 56 after a battle with lung cancer.
Thus, any song from youtube in tribute to her will do. Something from the sixties, let's choose her birth year: 1968.

take a daughter to a movie or two when the daughter "comes of age." I lucked out with that, for
I also saw Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet with my mother. My youngest sister says she did not
fare so well with the life-long trauma that accompanied seeing Planet of the Apes LOLOLOLOLOLOL

All 'round talented and a movie fave for sure. She certainly had the pipes also, and though her music was not
normally to my tastes, I cannot deny that she really could sing, and I did buy a greatest hits or something along
those lines, for the song, A Woman in Love, which was written by Barry and Robin Gibb and released in 1980...
