Unforbidden shadows of you formed yesterday
I ran away to a room here on the bay
Interrupted life again, another new beginning
Where the silence echoes

I ran into this at Youtube as it was on the front page, I dont follow the show itself but was curious seeing the young girl and the number of views so I watched it, she is 12 has a unique sound, and wrote the song she sang, I thought I would post her song. Shes no Jacky Evancho type of singer, but there is something bout her, I think she might do very well.

The following is one of those pieces I can listen to for hours at a time. My attraction to such chants made me curious about what Sikhs believe, and I discovered upon a cursory investigation that they do give honor to Jesus, but only as a saint. Although they can be comparable in many ways to Hinduism (beliefs in karma and reincarnation, for example), they are monotheistic (Waheguru is the name of their God) as opposed to being polytheistic. The first hymn written by the founder of Sikhism stated: There is only one God. Truth is his name. He is the Creator. He is without Fear. He is without hate. He is timeless and without form. He is beyond death, the Enlightened One. He can be known by the grace of the Guru. When they speak of the Guru, they are referring to God, the great teacher. The word Sikh means disciple, or student. The religion is relatively new, having started about six hundred years ago in Punjab. It is the fifth largest religion in the world with thirty million adherents. They strongly believe in community service.
