Guys I don't know if I can survive Christmas themed music here, but I must endure. You may have to prop me up on a bed of nails mounted through band patches. I should be okay with direct contact to metal.
Methinks you're asking the wrong group that question considering all the new metal posted here, haha.
But to go in reverse, here is a link to Rowe Productions store where they are offering some old school classics from their label for $10 each... Rowe Productions Store
I recommend Ethereal Scourge as an awesome old school melodic, epic death metal album. Also the Norwegian Metal Comp has some classic Extol and Antestor stuff along with two other bands.
Hmm... this is interesting. Ryan Clark (DH) and Randy Torres (P86) doing some kind of electronic music. Sounds a bit like a mellow DH song done electronic. Except it lacks the parts where it picks up. So i think it's a bit flat and monotonous.
Never heard of P86, but wow that Fall Behind song! The somber tone is fantastic... it makes the song easy to listen to on repeat. You're right though, a longer bridge or instrumental at around 3 minutes would be perfect.
