Daniel 2:20-21

[SUP]20 [/SUP]Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
[SUP]21 [/SUP]And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
Those are really nice....but still just more empty rhetoric from the lead from behind king. I wonder what he meant by that any anyway...."lead from behind"? We need a leader like this:

So you think putting sanctions on Russia, calling on Putin to be accountable, meeting with Central American leaders, sending 200 additional troops to Iraq, and trying to pass much needed infrastructure repairs in a do-nothing Congress is empty words? Fair enough, maybe recognizing America's media folk isn't much, but the rest is far from empty words. These are the actions of President Obama the past 3 weeks.

Seems to me President Obama is doing his job. I can't say the same though for much of the Democrats and Republicans in the Congress.

"calling on Putin to be accountable"...that's funny right there. Putin thinks "I'll have more flexibility after the election" Obama is a Schmuck and has zero respect for him. 200 troops to Russia??? For what....a blue ribbon committee? This guy's leadership skills are about as effective and respected on the world stage as a boat drifts gently on a pond as a bowling ball wouldn't.

To tell you the truth I don't think it is going to matter who is elected president from now on because I believe that we are coming to the end of the world and I think we could all agree that this world is going to get worse before it gets better. The only leader that is going to make this earth work is Jesus and until He comes and sets up His kingdom this earth is in a rotten situation. Leaders don't know how to lead anymore and I think men's hearts are beginning to fail them from fear... Kind of like the Bible tells us will happen.

World economies are failing, we have quick fixes here and there to try and keep them all afloat and some day I believe soon it will all come crashing down and there will be a time of trouble such as no one has ever seen before. What are we as individuals doing to be ready to meet our Lord? Failed leaders will be the least of our worries... I did not vote for Obama as I felt he did not have enough experience to lead the country, I wrote myself in as I figured I couldn't do any worse than what had been going on. That's my 2 cents worth not that it counts for much. My only advise is to get ready to meet the Lord.

According to the article the additional 200 troops are to augment our small force in protecting the US Embassy and airports in Iraq. A good move by President Obama to reinforce our troops whose necks are on the line given the recent turmoil in Iraq.

They have no choice, the Iraq government refused our Status of Forces agreement in 2012. All we can do is guard our embassy since its technically US soil and I am frankly surprised they even let us guard the airports, my assumption is because they could be considerred international territory.

sanctions on Russia...lol. Let me tell you what Putin thinks of our sanctions...The USA is weak. Its why he is doing what he is doing because he knows he can get away with it.

The recent immigration issue...OBAMA CAUSED by misusing a law about persecuted kids to further his political agenda....and kids died because of it. Nice job.

Demands accountability....I bet that made Putin shiver.

200 troops to Iraq....because we never should have left Iraq, and the proof is ISIS. Political agenda and more and more people die so Obama can play politics.

I won't even read the infrastructure thing....idiocy.

Rewards to his accomplices....gee, wonder why and who cares if he had a crush....time to BE president not play one on tv.

1. Perhaps this is true, but unless you have a plan to invade Russia or assassinate Putin (neither one being a good idea), you pretty much only can apply menial economic sanctions and show support with our European and Asian allies in response.

2. The immigration mess should've been fixed years ago. President Obama is right to try to give refuge to people escaping persecution and violence, granted they want to genuinely live peacefully in the USA. Maybe the GOP would be wise to hasten the granting of citizenship to Central American immigrants whom are mostly decent Christians, instead of droning on about guarding a land border that is impossible to guard.

3. Putin may not have shiverred, but he doesn't seem too happy with the fact Obama and Hillary are the only two Western Elites calling him out on his role in the MH17 mess.

4. US had to leave Iraq. You have to understand the Iraq government is a sovereign government as recognized by the US and most the nations. Obama actually offered to stay in force in Iraq. Iraq government turned down Obama's offer. Their fault, not ours. Therefore it is a good move by Obama to bolster our menial forces to guard our US assets in the region and guard the airports for international travel/trade.

5. Won't even read the infrastructure thing... yea that's the sad GOP party line on that issue. As a result next time a bridge collapses and accidents mount up because of our failing transportation network, we'll blame the GOP for letting that happen I suppose. At least Obama tried. Kind of ironic given the fact President Eisenhower is responsible for creating much of our significant infrastructure that his own Party nowadays refuses to maintain and repair it.

6. The custom of presenting the National Medal of Arts to notable Americans in media was started in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan. It is customary for the President of the United States to present such an award. As for Obama's boyhood crush on Linda Ronstadt, yes, pretty much meaningless, but hey, now you have some new political joke fodder.

I cast a write-in ballot for you too :)

I agree with everything that you have said. Your 2 cents is worth a lot. There is a bible passage about that somewhere. Everything is relative. I enjoy your posts.

1. Bush had no problem with Putin, because he was a president. Obama's foreign policy invited Putin to act this way. Obama has made us weaker and worse yet has made us LOOK weak. That is an invitation for entities like Hamas, ISIS and Putin to run around without a worry over what the appeasing apologetic apathetic asinine leadership in this country now.

2. The immigration mess was caused by amnesty. Either sign a bill with your name on it changing what an illegal alien is, or enforce the laws on the books. Again, the weakness of this ''administration'' and its political agenda in their eyes trumps putting kids in danger. Sick

3. I doubt our leadership can call out anyone living in their glass house.

4 We are still in Japan...? We should never have left until the government was stable. Obviously they are not. We did not leave for military reason, we left so Obama could make political hay....and how many have died because of that?

5 Infrastructure is purely a republican issue. That is why I did not address such a slanted presentation.

6. I don't find thousands losing their lives because of Obama's political campaigning to be humorous. Little of this administrations achievements have made me laugh but I will say it is so horribly sad that anyone who is not in a rubber room, supporting the worst administration in my life, that laughing at them is the only way to keep sanity

1. Bush had problems with Putin. Forget the Georgian invasion (also right around Olympics time)? Hamas acted up and made wars with Israel while Bush was President as well as Hezbollah. As for ISIS the groups the would eventualyl form into ISIS have their genesis as rebels in the Iraq War during the Bush Era. I can say with confidence the jihadists don't give much a care about whether Obama or Bush or a Democrat or a Republican is President. They just care about chopping off heads and spreading the satanic religion of Islam.

2. The immigration mess has been going on since Bush, it was a major issue in the 2004 campaign and a major reason why people (correctly) picked Bush over John Kerry. Wherefore has the immigration crises not been fixed all ready by either Bush or Obama?! At least Obama is trying, I fault the Congress, both parties, but mostly the GOP since the GOP has no real solution just a fake political show of sending some troops to guard a land border that is not possible to guard. Some form of amnesty or refugee status is the only workable solution.

3. That's true, but if you don't stand up to the Russian Bear it will smash through your glass house and devour your young.

4. We still have a few bases around Japan. We are there by the invitation and agreement of the Japanese government. Lol actually our goodly President Obama negotiated an extension on US basing in Japanese territory just a few years ago. This is a good example of how foreign policy actually works (bilateralism) and a good display of the reason why we left Iraq (because we had to because the Iraqi government said so.) So this is an issue in which neither the Democrats nor Republicans can be blamed, but only the Iraqi government which turned down a deal to defend their nation which both US political parties supported.

5. I guess infrastructure is a purely Republican issue seeing as it is the GOP that refuses to maintain and repair it. This more than any other GOP mistake is what they deserve to lose the next two elections over unless they get themselves straightened out. How many more auto accidents due to failing roads and bridges do we have to have until the GOP stops spitting in the face of the American People just so they can spite President Obama?

6. Then you will be pleased to know that no one died in the National Medal of the Arts ceremony which every President is obligated to present since its founding by President Ronald Reagan.

Obama isn't just disconnected from most Americans: he's disconnected from reality.

"President Obama’s remarks thanking Muslims for 'building the very fabric of our nation' and claiming they were in part responsible for 'the core of our democracy' have left many in and outside of Washington scratching their heads. But the Founding Fathers would find the comments even more baffling.

Founding Fathers rip Obama’s Muslim ‘fabric’

After 6 years of a failed presidency built on empty rhetoric and a gullible electorate, polls are showing Romney would win by a large margin if the election were held today.

Americans now wish they elected Romney
I voted for the Romney, not that I wanted him -- he was the worst of the Republicrats available.
I can't believe there is actually a wish for Romney now.
