Yeah but still he could have worded it better. That was a horrible thing to say to her, or anyone, for that matter. That's like saying, "I'm sorry your husband died in 911, but perhaps it was for the best." Sorry but that is fricked up.
Well I shouldnt be speaking for someone else but Ive never known the Tiger to be hurtful on purpose. Not knowing him she may have taken it that way.

No. You're basically all saying to hate Muslims and it's sad. I don't defend evil acts, and no one should. But there are innocent people in all of this and I do defend them from close minded people.
No you are hearing what you want to hear.Do not put words in my mouth please. None of us is innocent apart from God. We serve God or satan. Its that simple. This is a demonic religion and people in it are under bondage. If you care about them as much as you say you do you would share Gods word and help them see how in bondage they really are. But by all means keep up the PC line and let these people fall into hell because you dont want to offend them.

He's definitely no-nonsense, but I've never seen him be mean-spirited. Glitter on the other hand would seem to take offense at anything. But that's the fruit of Progressive Christianity.

Not to mention the crushing war debt we left on the credit card for our kids and their kids to pay off
So the cost of going to war should be the deciding factor of whether or not to go to war? Someone forgot to tell FDR about the cost of fighting a war in Europe against people who never attacked us.

It's impossible to know what would have happened to Israel if Saddam was not removed from power. He was already supporting Palestinian fighters. He was trying to build WMD's. Maybe the best course of action would have been to support his war against Iran that lasted ten years and killed 1 million people. Maybe they could have gone at it for another ten years. A win / win situation.

We occupied Germany and Japan for 6-7 years in order to plant the seeds of democracy and put them on the right course. If you leave too soon, you run the risk of, well, exactly what happened when President Obama pulled out.

I can understand the argument about pulling out everywhere and securing our borders and letting everyone else fend for themselves. The problem is there are a lot of people wanting to destroy Israel. We need to prevent them from trying. Or, maybe not. We let them continue making plans, knowing it will bring us more quickly to Armageddon and Christ's return.

Yep, even flourishing and stronger. Kinda makes pouring good money after bad seem pretty stupid right? And yet pour we do, while things in this country go to pot for lack of money.
71% of the federal budget is entitlement spending and servicing the debt. Military spending is not the problem. At least one Presidential candidate said if we go into the Middle East to defend people, we should leave with enough oil to cover the cost.

A comma should be placed before the word but if it is at the beginning of an independent clause.
Hate to sound like a broken record, but this just irks me. It's such a simple thing to get right.

I hate to get technical here, but the word "but" in the first sentence really should be set aside in quotation marks, in order that the sentence makes sense. The word "but" is an example, and does not in this case introduce a subordinate clause and is not part of the sentence, but the part you are quoting from the previous post.

Much of our military spending is on unnecessary things. like instead of having military personnel do the unglamorous jobs such as digging ditches, building latrines, kitchen duty, laundry and jobs of that sort, they hire civilians to do these jobs. This cost a lot of money...millions of dollars a day for plastic bathing utensils.. I have the utmost respect for our military and for our soldiers but some of this spending is unnecessary. let's not forget the horrible way our country treats its veterans

Gonna need about 1.7 trillion dollars for the Iraq War alone worth of oil then. Which at the cost of about 45 dollars a barrel currently (high end price according to this site Oil ends down 2 percent, market refocused on global supply glut | Reuters ). So that is 37,777,777,777 barrels needed to plunder to fulfill Donald Trump's plan to pay for just the Iraq War of last go around, not counting for the one he would start. The US government believes Iraq holds about 112 billion barrels of oil and at current levels can produce about 1.095 billion barrels a year (high end estimate at 3 million barrels made a day). Which means it would take about 36 years at current conditions without accounting for rebuilding the oil fields after Trump blows them up just to get the oil to cover the cost of the Iraq War 2003-2012. (Article on US government assessment of Iraq and oil) Iraq: Oil and Economy.

Thank you, Tintin and Kaylagrl. I know you know this already, but I didn't say, "I hope your husband dies in the next attack, blah, blah, blah . . ." I said, she'd be singing a different tune had her husband died. Rather than being an islamic apologist, she'd be screaming for justice, aka, a different tune.

I served from 84-92, and military personnel did all the above. Has something changed since then? You mean to say civilians are doing all those things now?

On a side note, love your new avatar!

Yeah because I'm tired of close minded Christians. You guys have done NOTHING but bash an entire race of people. You guys have seemed to forgotten that Jesus was friends with EVERYONE and loved EVERYONE. All you can do is hate. You want to hate ISIS and and extremists? Please do!! I don't like them either. But I am not about to put an entire race of people in the same category as them and hate them too. And you shouldn't either! It's our job to breathe the life of Jesus into others and to spread His word. How do you expect anyone to listen to anything you have to say when all you're breathing is hate?

Quote "You guys have seemed to forgotten that Jesus was friends with EVERYONE and loved EVERYONE."

Did you just say that? Seriously ? How did Jesus speak to the Pharisees? How about clearing the temple? When Christ comes again do you think He will love and be friends with everyone? Read Revelations if you're not sure.

There are 5 million Muslims living in France. You personally know less than a dozen. You can show a video of another dozen who openly criticized the attacks. That leaves somewhere around 4,999,976 other Muslims that we don't know for sure how they view the radical Jihadists among them. Unless you feel comfortable speaking on behalf of all 1 billion Muslims throughout the world.
Its like I heard a commentator say tonight...where is the Million Muslim March? Where are the Muslims marching in the streets against ISIS and Hamas etc. If they are truly against them they need to be seen and heard, get out there and separate themselves from this.

I'm not showing grace to Muslims. I've simply been stating this entire time that we shouldn't hate them and that we should love them, as we should love all people. I don't see how this is wrong.
Yes we should love everyone, share Christ with everyone and pray for revival. But we cannot allow evil to continue.Nor should we allow people to stay in darkness and bondage in this demonic religion. This or any religion. If you love people you tell them the truth.

So, you're talking about my Muslim friends in Paris and the extremist Muslims in theses various countries. Just because you seem to recall Muslims in other countries dancing around, after 9/11 by the way, doesn't mean the Muslims here are the same way...your comment makes no sense whatsoever.

And yes, my Muslim friends do openly condemn the terrorist attacks. I think I said earlier that many people were joined together singing 'Oh Happy Day' at Place de la République where there is a vigil. Muslims, Christians, Atheists, etc were all joined together singing because even if all of them don't believe in the same thing, they do believe that what has happened is wrong and that we all just need to love one another stop the hate...which is what most of you are doing in this thread.

I love how you can sit behind your keyboard and assume you know what is really going on here and ask me such stupid questions...would you like to see the video I have of everyone singing? Wait, why do I have to make list of countries that were once peaceful before US invasion...why must I show you videos or anything of the sort when you have capable enough fingers to tap around on the keyboard! Go look it up yourself...I'm not your teacher. Maybe you should stop watching and reading negative bullcrap and look for the truth.

If you really want to see what Muslims are currently doing in Paris, here you go there buddyyyyy:
