When I asked AI how it could manipulate people it sounded like what we have seen the last six or seven years from 2016 when Trump became president, then the pandemic, mask and vaccine mandate. We are foolish to think that the AI we can access for free is as good as the AI that the military and intelligence agencies have.

The reason they are putting out a public AI (IMO) is to help train AI.

But it is clear what AI has really been designed to do is to lie. Ask it to write a song like any person and you will get a good impersonation of some song writer. Suppose you are the General manager of an NBA team. You have to make your selection. You have two players to choose from, one is a college superstar, the other is a solid college player, not a superstar. However, six months earlier he was only a solid HS player, so he has improved quite a lot in the last six months, so who knows where he will be six months from now, or two years from now. The Superstar wants $10 million a year, the "solid colllege level player" will work for the league minimum. The superstar might get hurt but best case scenario will be able to play 38 to 40 minutes a game. The solid college player can play all five positions on your bench, saving you a ton of money for a couple of superstars. He can play multiple positions and can play as many minutes as you need.

This is the situation today with AI. If you are a first round draft pick you will probably still be drafted, but for everyone else it doesn't make sense, take AI.
