It's amazing how repeatedly trying use(and failing) an either or fallacy is supposed to validate a Trump as being a suitable leader for the GOP and America.
*laughs*
People can believe what they want. But every thread here is broader than the OP. I marvel at the ignorance and cowardice of many.

You know there's a serious problem when opponents of one political party or the other resorts to calling the other "satanic," or some such thing. There are plenty of good reasons to call MAGA Trumpers demonic or satanic but it serves no purpose. The Lord's not worried about it and neither am I. He sees what's going on and He'll handle it in His own way and in His own time.

I would not call them Satanists, I'd call them humpty dumpty.

The tribulation is designed to make sure no one gets to sit on the fence. Either you worship the Antichrist and take the mark of the beast or else you take a stand for Jesus and get your head chopped off.

But till those glorious days we still have people who sit on the fence.
Interesting opinion. I don't personally know any other non-voters, so I can only speak for myself and not make assumptions for others. I'm pretty sure earlier in this thread I already stated why I never voted . I will say though, that even though I had reason not to vote, I also never believed that any politician truly had any godly intentions while running for their offices. I was definitely a conspiracy theorist in that I always thought everyone was a secret satanist and had nefarious plots in mind for my country as well as the world. NGL I still kind of think that way, I'm just a little less obsessed about it. I'm also not a very trusting person in general so I always assume people are lying, especially politicians. I don't think I can really get myself to vote for a president since neither option seems like a genuinely good choice. Picking the lesser of two evils still doesn't seem like a choice I want any part of lol.

I don't disagree, there is no political solution to the coming tribulation.

Indeed. I may not be a defeatist anymore, but I also see no reason to believe that anything positive can come from a vote at this point in time. Instead of waiting for a meteor to wipe out the planet, I can now look forward to God fulfilling his plans for the future. That in a way seems like I haven't really changed my mentality at all now that I think about it lol.

A political party should be implementing policies that benefit the masses instead of mainly catering to the wealthiest members of society.

I totally agree, that's what they should do. However, they're not really interested in the people--any of the people. Only in themselves and their own self-preservation.

Humans have a tendency to abuse authority often. This isn't a conspiracy theory. It's something hardwired into the DNA of many. But if one is going to vote, one should chose the best policies that benefit themselves and society. A party that caters mostly to the elites of society is NOT a good option for most of the populous.

Well if you are pounding the pavement preaching the gospel that is certainly going to be much more effective than trying to get someone other than Jesus elected.

If Trump were an elite, he would be protected, and not on trial.
In the upcoming election, Trump will get over 20% of the Black vote and another 50% of the Latino vote. These people are telling you who they believe serves their interests.
You have to be some kind of ignorant or brainwashed to believe most people are not worse off now than 4 years ago.

Maybe it's deeper than that. I hope you reconsider.

Not trying to be smart, but what of the negative of not voting. Ever think of what that could bring?

Well, my conspiratorial brain says that both sides are on the same coin and everything publicly shown is just a means of manipulation and distraction. If that is true, then a vote makes no change. If it's not true, regardless of who I vote for, Jesus won't return quicker or slower. So again, I don't see a reason to vote. If I chose someone to vote for and they win and somehow change things for the better, sick stuff will still happen in the shadows. Realistically nothing changes other than the fact that the bad things are now not openly talked about just so we can pretend that things are fine with the world. I just don't see how anything other than an act of God could fix things.
