Pence is probably better off being quiet in retirement than that wicked Merrick Garland is going to be when justice catches up to him.

I actually think Hegseth is the sleeper hit here. Tulsi, RFK, and Gaetz all will generate more buzz and are more famous, but Hegseth is a very interesting pick. Hegseth was high enough of an officer to undertand leadership but he also wasn't far removed from the regular troops like the standard DOD pick of generals and such would be. To me this is a signal that Trump is going to reform the military but in a way that is more pragmatic than ideological, I speculate with emphasis placed on the regular troops.
Good insights thanks.

I think what the left is really worried about is that these picks are very competent and will do what they say they are going to do.
The left is:
1) devastated
2) sweating bullets
3) lawyering up
4) packing their gear and resigning

I really do think that Gaetz is gonna burn the weaponized agencies down to cinders.
Its about time.

Obviously not.

They're now slandering people not yet entering office. That is chronic morbid hatred.

Pray for him. He's lost.
To me the election is like being at the top of the ski resort mountain and you have to decide which trail you are going to come down, there is one trail for the bunny slope (novices) and there is another trail for the black diamond (expert). But either way you then need to ski down. The country had a choice, which trail do you want to take down this mountain?

However, the mountain is God's judgment on the nation for sin. We don't get to choose whether or not the US will be judged and disciplined by God, that is not part of the election. We just get to choose which trail we are gonna take.

I think they made the right choice, but that doesn't mean the US will avoid judgment, avoid WW3, or avoid catastrophe. So then, everyone needs to continue to pray.

The Donald is already showing his incompetence. His cabinet picks are totally incompetent people whose only qualifications are they kissed his ring. This is an exact repeat of his first term; who wouldda guessed it.
Depends on your definition of competency.

Competency to get into line and do what the DS puppeteers, donors, lobbyists, corporations, Soros, Schwab and globalists demand?

Or competency to discharge their duties with respect to the demands of the electorate by who's consent they govern?

I think by competency they mean what the Bible says where they will call evil good and good evil. In this case they will call incompetent people like Kamala Harris competent, and competent people like Trump incompetent. They will call honorable people deplorable, and people that God treasures garbage.

I'm noticing an interesting pattern in Trump's picks for the cabinet like Gaetz and Tulsi. He has chosen people that were previously persecuted directly by those agencies when the democrats corrupted those offices and abused their positions to target them. This is very interesting, it reminds me alot of Ahasuerus making Mordecai replace Haman. Great moves by Trump, a real true shake up of the corrupt system and signal that America will get genuine reform that the people demanded in such a decisive election.
Perhaps I'm missing something here, and if I am, please inform me...

I don't think Tulsi belongs in the same category as Gaetz. I don't view her as scummy or a potentially dangerous pick. I do agree the left targeted her. With Gaetz, I am not saying he is GUILTY with absolute certainty, but I am significantly less confident he is innocent of what you think he was unjustly targeted for. Leaving congress stopped the investigation for some reason...

Guilty? Am I not seeing the post where you referring to the issue, is it the sexual allegations made against him?

I think I agree with you, I think these picks are exploding the myth of a MAGA cult. RFK is a Democrat, not a leftist, but a progressive. Elon Musk is also a democrat who is, believe it or not, less loony than the leftists. Matt Gaetz is certainly someone in Trump's political camp for the last four years and like you I don't judge someone as guilty because they have been accused of a crime. That said, I see Trump's camp as being similar to the Godfather's camp when they went to War with Barzini and the other families. Maybe Gaetz is like Michael, he doesn't want to be a gangster, but he is.

Therefore these leaders need our prayers.

Sorry, yes. It's such a terrible thing to be investigated for, perhaps I subconsciously didn't even want to type it. The Gaetz pick has triggered many people on the left and right for it though. I can understand their concern and don't think it's as invalid as Trump appointing someone like Tulsi or Vivek/Elon.

Of course.

I think WW3 is already underway.

The Donald is wasting no time surrounding himself with a lot of sycophants and yes men. He's clearly out of his depth.

As are you.

The rest of America is breathing a sigh of relief.
Maybe the leftist gaslighting and jack-bootery is going to let up for a while.

Tulsi was on the terrorist watchlist. If just the allegation is the proof then technically Tulsi is more frightening than Gaetz. The investigation stopped because it was a sham to begin with it seems and the central witnesses against him were corrupt and unreliable. I think the hope with Gaetz is that he will put that wicked Merrick Garland into prison where he belongs.

It's not a mutual thing, "as are you." RA is on his own.

For clarity I do not believe the allegations, just merely making a point that making allegations is not the same as actually being guilty. Indeed the democrats have made a practice of creating allegations and then using the same allegations that they themselves fabricated as proof for further false accusations. Trump's Cabinet picks are very interestingly the victims of this tactic of allegation-false accusation by the very departments they are now being selected to lead. Marvellous is the way God moves the pieces to cause Mordecai to supplant Haman, praise Jesus.

WOW! John Thune just said recess appointments are on the table if the Senate REFUSES to confirm Trump’s nominees “All options are on the table, including recess appointments. Hopefully it doesn't get to that.” LET’S GO!

Looks like we now know what the Donald's "little secret" with Mike Johnson is. You wanted a dictator on day one; looks like you may get one.
