The emails are out there... now what? I understand Rachels point a crime was committed, but are we to disregard the content of these letters. We all know if a criminal trial was conducted and evidence was obtained illegally by government agents, it would be fruit of the poisonous tree. But I'm reminded of a sexual abuse case in central Virginia years ago. The police had a suspect that would not confess. There rarely is physical evidence in these cases. The family of the victim, not being agents of the government, got this guy and beat a confession out of him. The court was free to consider this evidence and the accused was found guilty.
So these emails were obtained illegally, shall we not concern ourselves with it?
