You sound like the democrat team water girl. I can't figure it out.
it's pretty simple actually...i just have little interest in 'preaching to the choir' type discussions...it is more useful to talk about things that were not previously common knowledge...

otherwise it's like seeing someone always wanting to talk about 'shocking proof!!!!' that 1 + 1 = 2...

Rachel, I spent over 40 years handling classified material. There was always one constant fact. Someone was always trying to get their hands on the material that I was charged to protect. Protection of that material was always my responsibility. If the material that I was charged to protect appeared in the press, regardless of how the press obtained it from me, I suffered the consequences of my negligence. While you may believe that it is criminal for someone to hack into a computer system for nefarious purpose, and it really is, once the results of the hack are made public, the holder of the classified material, unless you are a politician, becomes solely responsible for the loss of the material.
if someone is able to break into my house and steal all of my stuff because i messed up the home security system...who gets charged with burglary?

Not trying to ruin your day, but there were voices raised whenever one Edward went on a rampage...:p
Edward was responsible for the security of the information that he provided Wikileaks. Wikileaks, once they had the information, is free to do what they please with it.

Blame Russia and Trump for the Democrats being exposed for the cheats and bigots they are. DON'T MENTION the tens of millions Bill and Hillary took from the Russians. Is the theory that Putin is now mad at hillary for not doing what they paid her to do? If you gave millions to a politician would you not want them in power?
putin has three things to be angry at clinton about...

...he thinks that 'reset button' thing in 2009 was all about her favoring medvedev over him
...clinton successfully pressured medvedev into not vetoing the resolution against ghaddafi in 2011...putin angrily compared the resolution with 'the medieval calls for a christian crusade'
...in 2011 clinton joined the chorus of criticism over russia's rigged elections...which putin saw as an unforgivable attempt at undermining his grip on power

putin also has a big reason to favor trump over clinton...trump is anti NATO half of the time...

The main crime revealed in these emails is that the DNC had no regard for our system of government and dispise all people that is not on their club of elitist leftist. They despise the Bernie voters, the Mexicans ,blacks and gays. All revealed in these emails.
you use the word 'revealed' like we now know something new that we didn't already know before...

AN American citizen handing over classified information to a foreign organization is relevant to what Mr Mitspa was expressing. The point I'm trying to make, is that there's been several outcries regarding this matter over years now. It was an offspring of the Bush administration, not entirely, of course, but he served as a midwife:p

The burglar of course. So will anyone who steals classified information. If your stuff is sold to a third party, who sells it, who is responsible for the security of your stuff?

WikiLeaks has been around for many years now..doing this very thing..where was the outcry against their hacking before they embarrassed the Dems and Hillary? Now we have leftwingers for hillary worried about uphold laws about emails and computers..lol. bunch of hypocrites.
actually there was quite a bit of outcry all the way back to the beginning...about certain leaks putting our troops or our field intelligence agents in danger...

also see this post where i provide three articles where people suspected wikileaks of being a front for russian intelligence long before this latest hack...
http://christianchat.com/christian-...-insults-mexicans-wikleaks-6.html#post2717962

as well as me expressing my own personal misgivings about wikileaks all the way back in 2012...
http://christianchat.com/bible-disc...ily-deceived-kony2012-farce-3.html#post674992

the controversiality of wikileaks is nothing new...

Sure Rachel, I agree, lets indict the Russian Federation for computer trespass and data larceny. I'd bet the farm the U.S. has hacked a Russian computer or two.

Officially, and for national security, you will have to hand over your farm now;)

the point is...there are probably several people in this case who were guilty of incompetence...but only -one- entity in this case is guilty of a -crime-

I think that Mitspa and others are saying that once the cats are out of the bag, the person who put them into a bag and did not provide adequate security for them, is ultimately responsible for the damage incurred by the rabid cats. IOW, if you don't want private information in the public domain, don't put it on a public server. It will come back to bite you.

certain people here seem to be unaware of even basic facts about trump...which makes those facts worth posting about...

thus far i only 'appear to be sticking up for the democratic party' to the people who are completely devoted to trump...

i have said more than once that the democratic party is corrupt and that hillary clinton belongs in prison...but that counts for nothing with some people...

So far we can agree. I'd like to add, though, that applauding foreign organizations which, without a shadow of doubt, are trying to meddle with U.S. domestic affairs, should not be taking place.

The way I see it, members of the "Christian right" such as you are giving her a shot at actually winning.

if this was 1980 and the USSR was caught trying to influence the election in favor of mondale...plenty of the people in this thread who now think the hacking and foreign meddling is no big deal would have been in an absolute uproar over it then...

but unlike many republicans...my principles didn't change when the political players changed...

the way i see it...there is no difference between an unfit democrat winning and an unfit republican winning...

and hillary clinton got the biggest help in this election from the 13 million who voted for trump...

Unfortunately, this is true. The trumpsters are handing her the win. Looks like Jefferson Davis has come back to haunt the GOP.
