He's making himself look like an overly emotional baby. This isn't a good look for him
He speaks his mind, is not afraid of doing it, And as commander in chief, has a right to defend the flag, the constitution, and the men and women who died protecting those two things

Granted, Maybe he should not have used SOB, but most people I know would have said worse.

A buddy of mine who served in Afghanistan had this to say about it.
"We fought for everyone's freedoms and if you think people should be forced to stand for the anthem when you don't understand what Freedom means."
America was founded on protest and Americans have a civic duty to protest corruption and blatant misuse of authority. When a police officer can unlawfully arrest a nurse while she's on duty and face no consequences then something is clearly wrong with America

While I agree with him,

Protesting the symbol of American freedom, equality and racial equality, does not do anything to support their cause. It is hurting their cause, and causing a division like this country has never seen.

You want to protest, go to the police stations, Go to the offices of the government, Do not protest the very thing that gave you the ability to make your millions to begin with.

The only time you see any of those whiners doing anything but taking a knee is when the media spotlights them. Where are they in setting up charitable organizations or visiting people in need? They aren't there. Some of them make millions... they could drop a few hundred thousand if they don't want to get out and actually DO something productive.

Theirs is an Empty Protest of blustery rhetoric. It is just Showcasing for TV time. They are overgrown brats, whining just to be noticed.

The most amazing part. is that not even 100 years ago, racial division was so bad, that most who are kneeling would not be able to do the very thing they are making millions for. They would have been shunned because of their skin color. There is more racial freedom in the US today than there has ever been, These people do not understand what racial division is.

I also consider myself a Dreamer. Maybe, foolishly, but still a Dreamer. Despite the fact that I finally learned not to hire Blacks for any responsible construction jobs, (although I will hire ONLY Black concrete subcontractors..... White concrete men just fall far short), I actually voted for Obama the first time around. And I wanted so badly for Herman Cain to run. I was also rooting for Ben Carson in the Primaries.... until I noticed that he rarely showed any backbone on much of anything.

I guess I am still influenced by being raised by Hattie. She helped me to believe there are a portion of useful, productive Blacks among the rest. But, age and experience has shown me that there are probably 100 rejects for every worthwhile one. And that was a sad lesson to learn. That's why I am still hopeful whenever I see a successful Black. I figure that they really must be one of the truly shining stars.

And I still wish we had Herman Cain as president.

There are veterans who support the protest because they feel like they didn't serve their country for police officers to be able to terrorize citizens with impunity

I like some of what you say, but at other times (like with this post) you simply sound confused by Liberal rhetoric.

Clearly most police officers are good people but the problem is that the system protects the bad ones and this needs to change

They're protesting the fact that police officers are above the law that we pay them to enforce. The nurse incident was the last straw for me. I have lost all faith I had in our judicial system. When a police officer can unlawfully arrest a nurse while she's doing her job and face no consequences lets us know that we are in a police state
1. That has been going since the beginning of time (rogue cops)
2. Protesting the national anthem is not going to stop it
3. causing division is not going to stop police brutality. It has been going on, and will go on. the only thing that can stop it is to expose the people doing it.
4. Maybe 1% of the whole police force of the united states (even if it was 5%) is a small minority.
5. Tearing down the 95-99 % of GOOD Police officers because of the few bad ones, is going to make things WORSE not better.

people need to wake up!

1. Better screening to weed out the emotionally unstable police officers
2. Psychological evaluations for obvious reasons
3. Prosecute officers who unlawfully arrest people
4. Give judges the authority to hold officers in contempt for wasting the Court's time on fraudulent or erroneous charges.

It started with police brutality then it became just general oppression against Blacks and Minorities (this exists people) then this season guys just want Kap to get signed since in all fairness he's much better than most of the backups signed already. Btw they aren't anti America like many claim.
1. If KAP was good he would have a job, If it was all about a protest. everyone who ever knelt would be without a job
2. KAP took a knee wearing a pro castro shirt,Casto should be brought up on many human rights violations, who does not care about his people, and used his police force to brutally enforce his communistic view. no one had freedom in his society, if KAP protested castro, he would have been murdered, Castro is also one of the worse figures to use to claim being pro race, Anti Police, and all the rest of the stuff KAP was protesting.

KAP does not have a job because he turned down a 40 million dollar salary from the 49ers because he thought he was worth more than that, He thought wrong

Jehovah's Witnesses don't stand for the anthem or salute the flag because they view it as idolatry. I'm actually kind of inclined to agree with them on that one. I'm patriotic and I love my country but at the same time I'm not going to worship a piece of cloth

They have a constitutional right to protest. Seeing as how you mentioned in the Constitution

They have a constitutional right to protest but only on their own time and not in the workplace.

I never said they did not.

But they are protesting the very thing that stands for racial equality, Equal rights for all, And the men and women who died for them to have those rights,. In order to protest the very things they strand for.

ie. they are destroying their whole argument, and dividing the country because of it.

It is like my boss doing everything he can to give me and everyone who works for me what we need, And me protesting against my boss because someone else's boss is morally corrupt. It would be called stupidity on my part.

If we did this, we would be fired no questions asked.

That may be true but that still doesn't change the fact that police officers are rarely prosecuted when they break the law. I kind of hate to keep beating a dead horse but the nurse incident was a good example of how police officers are above the law that we pay them to enforce. That officer should be the one in handcuffs

I feel that was all wrong, too................. But, that is only an opinion, (on both your part, and mine), and you seem to forget that the investigation is still ongoing.
