Seems I got it straight the first time. Without notes as well. :giggle::coffee:

Well, you can say it as many times as you care to. Free speech and all that you know. ;) As for the arguments here, many seem to be caused by people with a view on the Bible that does not line up with what the Bible actually says. As I read earlier today in another thread, people with viewpoints that are s t r a n g e and no one accepts what they say so they go to a forum and jump on a soapbox until they are shown the door. (not exact words but same idea)

Why would you compare this forum (there are many Christian forums out there and I have been on a few and they are all different) to Twitter? Twitter is actually lies and confusion right up to Musk buying the thing and that is with only one side contributing because the actual ability to express a different viewpoint has been hiding behind the Passenger Pigeon. I don't even use Twitter; and speaking of the forum again, we would not have 'arguments' if it was as censored as Twitter has been. (Light bulb hopefully goes on at this point?)

I think the best way is to let lies and truth exist at the same time, because no one can be as fair and just as God.Then people just have to make a choice what to believe.
I’m not sure about that. We are our brothers keeper, especially our younger, more vulnerable naive brothers (and sisters). People should face prosecution for lying in a malicious manner.

I try to be careful about calling people liars though... So many are already misled these days

The government uses any media to lie and will not be prosecuted. People will only naturally trust any statement of the government without doubting its authenticity.

It's better if you can hear two different sounds, but it's bad if you can only hear one sound.

You should probably stay off Twitter. No one put words in your mouth. Never went near your mouth. You exhibit exactly the behavior you say causes problems. Hot and wrong right out of the gate. Ignored and my first.

Such drama.

I've actually been wondering if he might end up being the Beast. It looks like he's trying to bring about peace...his name is popping up everywhere. Just a niggling thought at the back of my mind that he might look like a good guy but....
I'm wondering if he or someone aligned with him will. I am expecting someone more politically aligned, but these people all work hand-in-hand.

Your confusion really does get the best of you it would seem. It seems you are on the wrong side of the door with no one to let you in.

God warned us thousands of years ago that His people would be deceived in the end and drawn away from Him. One way satan is accomplishing that is by making the liberals such a godless horde, that Christians flock to the right, ignoring their multitude of less visible yet just as ungodly ways.
You just could not possibly be saying that everyone on the right is a Christian. There are thousands of Christians, perhaps millions, that know better than to hang their hat on a party line. This close ended thinking does no one any good.

They claim to be Christian. But they are huge mammon worshippers, they cheat workers, abandon the poor and sick, and embrace lies and deceit. NONE of which are Christian mores.
I guess we can add to my above post by revealing the fact that the Republicans have never stated themselves to be depending on the will of God for their next move or that they all walk in the Spirit and obey the scriptures. All this 'they' business. You are painting with a very broad brush that indicates you are not thinking for yourself but are also swallowing something decidedly said by others.

As far as Trump goes, how has he exhibited his 'Christianity' since leaving office? I would like to know how that is going.

True, not all Christians are buying into the deception. There's always exceptions to every rule. But far too many have gone all in, trading the blood of Christ for the red kool-aid.

How many wear a pin to identify themselves as Christians? By that, I mean consider the 'in name only', just like the RINO Republicans who side with Democrats in order to fill their pockets? I have never seen such cowards as when it comes to the Republicans. They wear a life preserver at all times and can be pulled in just about any direction with that ring in their nose.

I am more of the Libertarian in persuasion, but first and foremost an independent thinker and believer in our Lord Jesus Christ.

That is what is known as a false dilemma. You believe something and decide it must be true by saying something else is just as bad. You really do not know and are not able, to actually prove Christians or even Democrats see only one side.
One thing we do know though and that would be the deception and dangerous games being played by the government.
Twitter is a killing field for truth
Musk did not attribute that to Lord Acton.
He didn't butcher anything. Let's all focus on what we can find wrong and ignore the actual message, shall we?

OK Avery... The fact that you write like an emotionally unstable 12y/o girl aside....
Please help me make sense of this. What exactly is YOUR point? Take your time, I'll wait...

Well that was rude. Was the verbal slam necessary in asking for clarification?

And by the way, "verbal" is also a poor choice of words... I've never spoken to her ;)

He isn't asking for clarification. He has quoted a number of my posts and not in entirety and not even all addressed to him. It's a little strange and he seems like someone to be avoided. So basically he has misquoted me. He wrote about Christians fighting and then became one of those people faster then you could read the words.

I have no clue why he seems to think anyone has to answer to him. Best to move on I would think.

It's just that your words are contradictory and inconsistent. It's true.
