Only the very rich can afford these bunkers. These people are not idiots, they rub shoulders with other rich and powerful people. If these very smart and in-the-know people are rushing to buy bunkers, it's because they know something that we don't.

They didn't get wealthy by being stupid.

They can have all the knowledge they want. I still rather place my faith in God, who is the creator of the World, then in man, who is the created.

That was a very interesting video to watch, which I had very mixed feelings about. I think the guy who was stockpiling practical things like fishing equipment and water purifiers was actually very wise, whereas I think the guys designing underground luxury bunkers were bonkers lol.

Being prepared is very important especially for natural disasters. You can laugh at that guy for worrying about such things, but let me tell you as a person who lived through an enormous earthquake in February 2011, where radio towers were cut off, bridges were damaged, roads ruined, commercial and industrial areas were ruined and you had to live without water, toilet and electricity for over 2 weeks, NO ONE here would have dreamed of laughing at that guy. If that guy lived in Christchurch and had his stockpile of things during the aftermath of our earthquakes he would have been the most sought after man in town.

If your curious as to what our Govt endorsed as essential survivor kit items were heres a link to the info:

Emergency Survival Items & Getaway Kit

Before last February our Govt used to play tons of ads on tv about natural disasters and used to cram down our throats all the 'stuff' and preparing we would need and we all laughed and hee hawed at it or just couldn't be bothered... And then in the aftermath we take those ads way more seriously now and we're trying to cram down others throats around the country who didn't have to experience the quakes how serious an issue it is and how important a kit is.
