I’m not the center of attention.

You said that to put me down, and that’s hateful.

Look, people can believe whatever they want to, I don’t care. But I will be honest when I feel like I have to. And honestly, I don’t see us ever getting along, as Christians or as people, hope you understand where I am coming from.

But have a God blessed day and go back to the topic of this thread. :p
You really convinced me, stomping your feet, shaking your hands in the air, then sticking your tongue out, then a God bless, Big Smile

I just thought about it, do you want me to kill myself? I will do it, I can drink some bleach or cut my arms, just tell me to do and I WILL, you probably wouldn’t even cry if I die.

You would celebrate me dying, hypocrite

Another reason I love this site. It promotes freedom of speech, but real crazy talk will get moderated eventually.

Hey, I don't know if you're still reading this thread, but I just want to say I hope you're doing alright. It seems I'm not able to send this in a private message, so I'll just say it here. I know from my personal experience with mental health difficulty that it can be easy to get frustrated and lose one's cool. Just try not to take it too personally if someone you're replying to seems difficult, some people are less wise in the virtue of grace, and people can often be very stubborn in their crassness. That's something I learned from years of being around heavily secular people. And sometimes that can rub off into our current culture of Christian believers as well. Just remember to be patient with such people and persevere as a good witness.

In the meantime, it's probably good to spend time in a supportive crowd and take a break from more combative realms. I know it almost drove me crazy back in the years when I stuck myself in the "battlefields" of inflammatory arguments. It really clears the mind to get away from all of that.

Also, I think there are people here who, even if quietly, value the comments you were writing in here. I sort of skimmed through the thread and didn't catch everything that was said, but I did appreciate several of the points I caught in your messages.

I think her worldview got severely challenged, and as she couldn't retort with facts/evidence, she became quite threatening and aggressive. Aggression is a symptom typical of cognitive dissonance. This is sad, as you are right, some of her posts were intelligent. Hopefully she learns to control her temper in future, as death threats are very serious, irrespective of who they are made against.

I for one am pleased on the action taken, because if one resorts to death threats when one's worldview is challenged, one is not mentally ready to debate (and probably not old enough to use the internet).

NOT what I am discovering/finding...

Do you have a link that would help to verify this?

I think you have combined two separate sayings into one - with [only] the latter part being attributed to R.G.I.

I have never been able to verify who originally said [the phrase I introduced]. Perhaps I was "delighted" just a bit too early... (post #218)
It is an Oration on the Life and Services of Thomas Paine Robert Green Ingersoll
The complete sentence in the Oration includes that part in the last sentence added to what I wrote earlier. The full text then is: " We need men with moral courage to speak and write their real thoughts, and to stand by their convictions, even to the very death. We need have no fear of being too radical. The future will verify all grand and brave predictions. "

Thomas Paine was a commie, that influenced Karl Marx, Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud to mention a few, a bad thing for a free and democratic society.

Mars, Millions of miles away they say?

NASA claims they sent a mechanical device over several years to the planet Mars, landed this mechanical device, unloaded another mechanical device, took pictures, analized samples of the soil and atmosphere, then transmitted this info back to earth?

Man cant keep a cell phone working from tower to tower, and your gonna believe that fairy tale above, Real Big Smiles!

I bet you believe there is a Santa Claus, that Fly's around the sky's on a sled pulled by reindeer, dont forget his elves, presents, and chimney crawl?

I would believe the Santa Claus story, over a Mars landing, and they are both out of the book in (Fairy Tales and Fables)

I think her ban may not be permanent - because, her signature is still active. With a permanent ban, [I am quite certain that] the signature gets deleted/erased. (Or, at least "turned off" so that it does not show up under all of their posts.)
