If Kasich, Bush, and Huckabee drop out then the GOP has no one with enough experience and a good enough record. Will not support anyone else, might as well just let Hillary win if the GOP nominee is not one of those three.
A recent poll asked what is most important to voters. 12% said experience. The majority said they wanted someone who would change Washington. Kasich is a victim of the current mood among Republican voters. I don't blame voters. Conservative politicians with experience have failed to stop abortions, illegal immigration, runaway spending, gay marriage, growth in poverty, people dropping out of the work force, growth in numbers of people on food stamps, growth in all entitlement spending. So why is experience such a critical factor? Voters want new blood to shake things up. They don't feel inexperience candidates can do any worse than the experienced politicians have been doing.

shrillary is on trumps home turf in prime time. Her canned answers and feigned humility will be as apparent as daylight on a hot summer afternoon. Besides, she's got more issues than popular mechanics.
Lol, you underestimate how much more the silent majority of Americans dislike and distrust Trump. Not without good reason too. I've watched Trump closely, and frankly I wonder if his supporters actually listen to what he says. I think they been swept away by the typical low-info voter bait of looks, fluff, and tone. The irony of course being that is how we got Obama.

I'd love to see a Clinton vs Trump debate. I don't want to vote for either of them.

Be mighty curious how many people they actually polled, if the poll isn't just fabricated utterly. I think we been over my opinion of opinion polls all ready. Experience is a must. Did you miss the last 7 years of what making someone president with little experience touting fantastical and absurd ideas got us?

It's easy to say without giving examples. Where are your stats? You can only try to tear down the ones out there and then throw the grenade of "low info" voters as the be all end all to your obvious bias. Is it because of the hive mentality you share in your circle of influence or... influ-enced?.....whatever the case may be?

If I am hearing you correctly...you are saying we need an experienced politician in there bygollygeewillakers. With all due respect... if I turn around and look backwards in time.....it's the "experienced" politicians that have created all this mess.

How much does the Queen of England know about economics or foreign policy or fighting terrorism? What I'm getting at is you can elect Hulk Hogan as President and all that really matters is that he surrounds himself with policy geniuses' and an A-Team for a cabinet. I knew President Obama was doomed when we saw his cabinet. Today he spoke to the nation surrounded by the real JV team. His advisors know next to nothing about foreign policy.

To me, the ideal candidate is someone like Ronald Reagan. A charismatic speaker who thinks well on his feet. Also, typical Americans want an attractive person who is not overweight or bald. Plus, even if they are non-believers, Americans want to hear them say they are Christians. Trump has a strong personality and confidence. He is the opposite of Jeb Bush. People like his confidence to the point they don't care about the details or factuality of what he says. It worked for Senator Obama. People were mesmerized and probably don't recall what he was saying about hope or change. They certainly didn't care about his lack of experience.

Comparing Obama and Trump is like comparing apples and turds. At least as far as business acumen goes. I think Obama worked a at Baskin Robbins at one point....does that count?

Was that back when he was a stoner. Terrible idea hiring a stoner to work in your Baskin Robbins. You are right, you cannot compare the two. I was merely looking at how each built a huge army of devoted followers. They have a charisma that appeals to voters.

A few posts back I spoke about the fact that we communicate with 80% body language and tone and the rest the words we use. If your body language doesn't reflect your true self...there will be something wrong in the delivery...a tell. Obama believed what he was telling you.....***edit....HE STILL DOES!!!

I could be wrong but I think Trump does too..... That he can fix things and make America great again......unless God has other plans. I'm okay with that too.

Honestly, none of the other candidates have convinced me that they really believe deep down in their soul that they can turn things around except for maybe Cruz and Paul. The other ones just want to be President.

What is it about my viewpoint that is so threatening to yours? Lol
Low info voting based on looks, tone, and fluff. It's how we got Obama. Only thing different is in this case Trump looks, sounds, and fluffs up the crazy crowd of the GOP with fascist and racist fantasies. Hillary will look and sound better to the majority of Americans. Don't think you can threaten a king with Trump, you'll get justly rewarded with Hillary for it. Ain't no skin off my back if Hillary wins, I have said from the beginning of this topic before anyone even jumped into the ring she is likeliest to win. There is alternatives to beat her, and I've told you who can do it and how it can be done. If the GOP will not do it then let it be a testament against them. I don't want to hear the GOP conspiracy theories like they made up when they voted for Obama by proxy by picking that Mormon.

I pose my recurring ponderance of this topic; I have to wonder if the GOP is intentionally trying to throw away the election.

I know I know I know. I hear you...the masses were duped into a lemon cuz they are stupid.

What I am saying is that Obama was believable and people fell for what he was saying...that he was believable because he believed with all of his being that which he was saying. He just left out the I hate white people and America part. Lol...and I know super smart people who voted for him.

Trump believes in his heart that he can get American back to the economic powerhouse that it should be. The breadbasket of the world like it should be....the innovator of the world like it should be and can be and I believe that he believes it.

The other candidates don't have the balls to get er done i.e.: the tough decisions that need to be made....except for maybe Cruz.

And this is all my opinion so please don't insinuate that I am stupid or haven't arrived here with at least some level of intelligent critical thinking.

No, Trump believes only in himself and his racist and fascist fantasies. He has a record of dubious dealings and has even admitted in his speeches quite openly to doing everything from sending jobs to China himself, to bribing most the politicians to do things we don't like, to admitting to corrupting polls by fabrication (that one in his announcement speech even), to wanting to change the definition of citizenship, to wanting to push Christians and the Hispanics into the desert to die, to creating his own little "Deportation force", to wanting to plunder Iraq for the next few decades. I'm sure there'll be more madness from him too.

Cruz, Cruz has tried to defy Obama, but he has actually got very little done. Thing with Cruz that I would think is obvious to the Trump faithful is that Cruz can't be president, he's not a natural born citizen.

You want someone that gets stuff done? Me too, that's why I say get someone with experience and a proven record of prosperity. Like I have said Kasich, Jeb, and Huckabee, those are the only three with a record of getting prosperity done, of fixing government messes, and the proven record of beating Democrats in swing states, or in Huckabee's case beating the Clinton Machine.

I hear you man. I wonder what it will look like when your tape is played back. I hope you see a growth on the way from point a to point b. When I look at Trumps children and grandchildren I see the good in him. Maybe its all a big fake and they are like the Young and Restless and a big tangled mess of the cesspool of humanity.... but I have yet to see any evidence of that....Other than Trump thinking with his you know what...which every man is prone to do. Lol

You keep saying you hear me. I really don't think you do. His children and grandchildren will not be faulted for his indiscretions. They are not running for president. Trump is running. As for him sleeping around with strange women; having a penis is no excuse, I'm a young man and I've kept mine to myself; why can't old people? If that were the deciding factor though for picking the president I'd have to nix Kasich for being remarried. Their personal lives are fair to investigate in consideration of the job they seek, but for myself I am more interested in their record of governance, their views on present and pertinent US political and geopolitical issues, and some of their ideas and plans for immediate issues. The only personal issue of their lives to any relevance to me is their acknowledged religion, which admittedly, is a make or breaker for me.

As for replay tapes, yes, all of our positions have changed somewhat and also much have stayed the same. It is quite fascinating to go back and read this topic after each debate. I have read it through at least three times all ready. At this point the biggest change for me is frankly, and I never thought I'd say it, but I'm willing to even tolerate a Bush seeing how woody and acorn Trump is and the fascist dystopian hellhole he says wants to create.

Seems to me if the GOP nominates Trump then Sir Nautilus' wish be granted him.

IM honestly hoping the GOP screws up and nominates some crazy tea-partier.

I get it. You hate trump. You think he is totally and completely corrupt. I don't agree with your judgment on that. I guess there isn't much more that you and I can say to each other about it.

It's impossible to say he's not corrupt. He himself admits on public TV to bribing almost all the politicians of both stages except Kasich and Cruz. Frankly though that I found more a testament against his followers than himself. The one thing that shows Trump is against us really though is how he viciously goes after Hillary on Benghazi when he himself dealt personally with Gaddafhi even after the fact it was known Gaddafhi had many of our fellow American citizens killed in the Lockerbie bombings and other terrorist acts . Even more shameful his excuse of it all just for the sake of money. I don't hate Trump though, not even for that. See therefore because you don't hear me still. I cannot let him be president for the peoples' sake and for even Trump's own sake. Not when he himself flat out gives us all the reasons in just about every speech and debate he's in.

No bad man is totally corrupt and every virtuous man isn't completely virtuous. People change...things change. Your reaction to Trump seems like it originates in your limbic system.
