Bear in mind there are parents who believe in the public school system, and even adhere to the Leftist agenda.
No doubt, but let the parents who don't pull their kids and the system will collapse.

When the devil is about to attack someone he often first isolates them. If you go homeschool is best to pay extra attention to socialisation. Get them involved in all the church youth programs. Get them to meet different
people from different cultures
And beliefs. Even atheists. Try make sure that when a child gets into a crowd they can blend with everyone else while retaining their individual character.
Do you homeschool your children?

No need for homeschooling where I am. Most schools are christian here. I have friends that were home schooled though.
I only ask because many people here have. Sometimes I hear people who haven't done something give advice about it that might keep people from doing something when the item they are advising about isn't even a problem.

Yes, a lot of people bring up the socialization issue, but the reality is that the classroom in the public school is the worst place for socialization. Little league, choir practice, Karate, these are great places for socialization. Also, the public school wastes a tremendous amount of time for the children. When I homeschooled they had a 40 hours per week schedule. This meant that they had a lot of free time. School was 8-5 Monday through Friday. So then nights and weekends were free.

Here's a gameshow for everyone!
At each of these links guess which are examples of public school socialization vs. Christian Homeschool socialization.

#2 Public Attacks Provoked by Sermon?
Those Christians are stirring up trouble once again..

So the pastor "used offensive slurs" meanwhile the video from some lunatic cheering as the building burns bleeps out every other word.
Half a dozen churches around the country we're targeted for preaching from Genesis 18 and Judges chapter 18. The perverts organized to listen to the sermons, then deplatform, defame and attack them. Strip shows were performed just outside the churches, profanity screamed at families entering and exiting. Bullhorn blaring and death metal concerts during services, etc.
I don't have time to look them up now, but I suggest that those were the fruit of public school socialization. Most of those churches homeschool their children and have traditional roles from the 1950s.

My kids are all grown up now. When they were in school I was very active parent in their schools. I did a lot of teaching from home to augment their education. When the schools didn't teach times tables I made sure my kids knew that as well as a lot of other stuff. Things have changed a lot over the last 20 years. If I had school age children today I feel we'd have no choice but to home school them no matter the sacrifices we would have to make to do that.

I have friends that were homeschooled and I help them in their walk in life at times. Highly intelligent but at times not good with judging certain characters. I'm not saying homeschooling is bad. If I was in America I would most likely home school if i couldn't afford a christian school and the way the world is going wherever you are homeschooling may be becoming an increasingly better option. Was just highlighting that socialisation is important only.

I appreciate your answer but I knew you didn't homeschool by your previous post. The reason I knew was because had you homeschooled you wouldn't have voiced the concern.
There is foolishness bound up in the heart of a child. Why would anyone think it's a good idea for their young children to spend a major portion of their day around a bunch of other people who are as foolish as themselves?

I understand. The bible says there is foolishness bound in the heart of a child but the rod will chase it out. Where I am we beat children when they misbehave, so children are mostly well behaved sensible reasoning human beings with exceptions of course. Even with beatings they may misbehave but it's still making sense to send them to school for now. Where you are you can not beat children so the school system by its default setup is designed to destroy children according to the bible.

I just spoke to a friend in america. They say it depends where you are. If you are in a good district the education is good and parents can volunteer to assist with teaching and school activities when they can to ensure the children are being handled and taught well.

There once was a mom on TV, Whose son couldn't read, it's plain to see, She blamed the school, But that's not cool, Where was she for the past 18 years, gee!

Homeschooling's a great way to learn, With books and computer programs, it's not a concern, Little league or karate, And choir can be hearty, Libraries have book lists, your child will yearn!

I personally know a girl who is working on her second doctorate, and has been awarded some of the most prestigious grants in the world...
she was primarily homeschooled.

I'm not the sharpest tack in the drawer, but I think a lot of us were reading college books when we were 9 or 10... and that didn't happen at school. That happened at home, around the kitchen table.

Public school is useful as long as it's useful... no more and no less.

.
I heard last week that home schooling has doubled.

I'm not sure where to put this, but I found an online education website that covers all the subjects from primary school to high school. So this is a fantastic resource for homeschooling your children! Even adults can register to refresh their education from so long ago. The best thing about it is it is FREE!

The American Education’s Collapse | Dave Brat Breaks Down U.S. Declining Testing Scores

You aren't teaching history, aren't teaching civics, aren't teaching art, etc.

After Covid any nominal gains over the last two decades are wiped out.

They aren't teaching virtues, they are teaching there is no God and instead they are teaching woke ideology. Get rid of God, truth, ethics and family.

And they wonder why the graduates are unemployable.
