I'm restraining the urge to go on another long polling tirade. I hate polling that is done improperly or interpreted loosely. I love polling that is done well and utilized for the brief snapshot it is.
the ones rejecting the polls back then were the people predicting that trump would lose to one of the sixteen other candidates...the ones rejecting the polls now are the people predicting that trump will win against clinton...the irony of some people's rapid reversal on the issue of polling is obvious...
also those who are in denial of all of the polls showing trump losing to clinton should remember the 'unskewed' craze back in 2012...when republican advocates were declaring all polls that showed obama winning to be 'skewed'...and even recomputed their own 'unskewed' versions of the polling data... likewise these supposedly 'skewed' polls were largely vindicated when the november 2012 presidential election results came in...
