No.
Malachi 2:16
Mark 10:10-12
Matthew 19:9

Besides Trump will be as fine of a president as anyone else running. I have a mathamatical formula to prove it.

All Politicians = 0
Assume Trump is only half as good as everyone else running, 0/2=0.
Assume Trump is Twice as good as anyone else running, 0x2=0.
See you can't argue with math.

I don't know you to have a sense of humour. So...
Oh, yes, I definitely have a sense of humor! And yes, this thread is a joke...

But it is surprising to me that hubby and I are so not on the same page about this election! I guess I should have known when he told me he voted for Perot in 1992!

Lol your husband is a smart guy if that is so. Sounds more like one to keep than divorce.

No. My sister and brother-in-law have been married forty years. She is a staunch Bernie supporter, he is a dedicated Trump supporter. They've cancelled each others vote for years. Makes for some interesting discussions at lunch after church.

while the bible opposes being 'unequally yoked'...that is a consideration that is supposed to precede marriage...once a marriage is established by God the christian cannot seek a divorce for being unequally yoked...

scripture does address situations where spiritual differences appear after marriage...given the context the relevant passages are primarily speaking of situations where two unbelievers get married and one converts to christianity... in that case the remaining unbeliever is allowed to leave the marriage if they choose...without the believing spouse being held guilty of unlawful divorce... however if the unbeliever chooses to preserve the marriage then the believer is supposed to continue being a good spouse and hope to someday win the unbeliever over to christ...

scripture does not directly address the case of two christians getting married and one of them falling into apostasy...but it seems like the same basic principles would hold...

of course trump supporters have strong tendencies towards violence and abusive behavior...if an unequally yoked marriage turns abusive then that is an entirely different issue...

Oh! I'm glad to hear that. :) My suggestion is to scrap all of the current candidates and to start afresh.

Lol you know Tintin that's not a bad idea actually, but unfortunately it's too late for that.

Abusive and violent huh? I haven't really decided on who to vote for yet but the more I read about trump supporters and the illogical stereotypes, judging and complete CRAP I may just vote for him.

My husband never tells me who he is voting for. Except in the last election, when I became a rabid convert to Harper and conservativism, really, anything to stop Trudeau 2.0. Then he admitted he had always voted conservative. Which I think I probably had figured out.

You people really need to convert to a parliamentary democracy. We don't have to go through all this horrifically long year of campaigning. We just take what the parties offer, and vote for the local candidate, who of course is running for one of the many parties. (20 last election, I think!)

So much simpler, IMHO!
