I was conceptually correct, but actually, I kinda paraphrased too; it wasn't a quote. Maybe I should have quoted. The quotes actually sound way more brutal. Maybe I was being too soft?

This is actually what Jesus said,
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

and then this verse in revelation; which is from the One seated on the throne.
The one who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.
But to the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.”
Don't forget this verse: 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

If you are going to be conceptually correct might as well be dead right.

That's a good verse; but it's hard tell what one means by a verse without ones own explanation of what they're getting at. Two sides to that coin.

I don't know what he means by willfully submit. If he said "submit to sexual assault" that sounds like the gun is to your head. But willfully, I have no idea what this means. S
The aggressor doesn't have control over a victims behavior. I haven't assumed that the victim always has the ability to call for help. If someone is fully restrained, or rendered unconscious they can't call for help. A person who only has a gun or knife pointed at them, or is being verbally threatened in some way can call for help.
Yes he described what he means by willfully submit, which is unless a person is fully restrained or fully unconscious if he is raped he willfully submits. At least you said if a person has a gun to the head that would be rape. That is not good enough for him. He basically showed no (or little) compassion towards male and female rape victims, that's how he came across. He does not understand how people react sometimes under danger, and suggested that people participate in their own assault as though they wanted it. He groups the victims with the aggressors.

so typical, subject of women being oppressed gets brought up, and it gets turned into "men raping them" .
How about the woman that was raped by the lacrosse team. It isn't just about men raping women, you can also throw in a dash of racism as well. Oh wait, you can also throw in lying and deceit along with that as well as the MSM pushing this narrative.

Thing is rape shouldn't be considered exclusively a female issue, they're just the majority of cases, about 10 to 1. However hearsay is that when it happens to guys, 1. it doesn't even get reported for fear of ridicule or appearing weak, unless it's a kid.

old testament? maybe a little, not sure what that has to do with the thread topic, since rape of virtually any form is highly illegal.
Exactly. Neither the OT or America allows it.

Now, some people will argue that in the OT, it was only illegal because "a wife was a man's property" and the rapist was infringing on the man's property rights.... such a premise irrelevant as it is absurd. We are all God's property and God protects his property. There's no misogynistic slant in the law of moses.

America- if anything WAS somewhat oppressive toward women... IN THE PAST. That was over a long time ago.
