It may be the greatest invention of the 20th century even topping the computer b/c everybody has had TV's since at least 1950 or so.....brilliantly schemed to infiltrate the family structure, decrease family time, and brainwash/alter viewpoints on social issues easily all by way of "entertainment".....although TV can be entertaining indulging in it too much makes one's mind soft/mushy.....with a lack of critical thinking/introspection and just blind acceptance b/c the TV said so....mentality...

When you think about the medium of tv and that it's a pretty well established fact that at its inception, the powers that be immediately started scheming about how they could use it to program the masses to do their bidding....it's no stretch of the imagination that the stories they would tell with it would mirror real life and the designs of men. Why do you think they brazingly call it "programming"? Lol
I love how they swear that violence on tv doesn't promote violence in people, yet companies spend billions each year on tv commercials knowing it will influence our choices.

So much irony in the current structure of the world that it's tough to know where to begin. Great example you made tho.

If I could wave a magic wand and do away with many modern inventions, I would.

But TV is just fun :( I'm conflicted.

I like certain tv shows when I just want to shut my brain off. Am I programmed...ya...I probably have a certain bend on things because of what Ive let in my eyeholes. I think kids are especially susceptible. I'm at an age where I question everything now tho and don't take too much at face value.

Kids are definitely more susceptible. Too much will change how your brain is wired at critical stages of development. Scary stuff.

It's super easy, most of the modern TV shows are utter garbage with nothing to edify/inform/uplift in any form.....just a ton of sex, violence, stupidity promoted as "coolness", psychedilic TV......and no I'm not advocating watching Discovery channel or nat geo 24/7 but shows like Little House on the praire (an extreme example) was about the good virtues in people unlike modern stuff like American Horror STory or Grimm, just stupid material that bludgeons/dulls the mind.....

The most TV i watch in a week is maybe 4-5 hours max, mostly 5-10min of news per day (most news I read on alt websites/ not MSM garbage), and probably one sporting game on Sunday (NFLmostly) so total week maybe 5hours of TV....LIfe is too interesting so much to learn than rather sit in front of an LCD/LED or Cathode ray tube mindlessly whittling away precious life and time ....things you never get back....

Well, vote for someone who will defend infants and vote for someone who actually has a chance at winning! Or just go ahead and agree abortion is okay so we all can understand why you support Hillary. My brain will thank you. This is only one nasty thing Hillary supports. We have too many scandals, lies, and she is against too many issues a Christian stands for.
Sounds like something someone in a totalitarian state would say to force someone to vote for the one they had intended to win......

Besides, if Trump is a Christian I am a muslim extremist
