What a radical leftist tool. The path to hell is paved with good intentions.

This woman has always been horrible and beyond crude. This is the type of resident Cuomo wants. CAUTION: There is rough language and highly offensive anti- Christian pro-life imagery, but it's important to see just how depraved Hollywood and democrats are.

Don't forget to keep a couple of twenty dollar bills in your wallet at all times as NYC has a reoccurring problem with some of their Democrat voters robbing people at knife point for a fix and murdering them if they don't have the money for a fix on them.
well considering the fact I go to nyc at least once a year and have frequently been out alone in manhattan at 2 or 3 in the morning and never had this issue then I'll take my chances. Besides didnt you forget, crime is kinda everywhere?

I would never trade New York for Texas. You had better look into the type of people you will be around.

Unless you want to see mobile homes, rusty car lawn art and general serious poverty oh and poisoned water from coal chemicals etc you should not move to an impoverished area like Texas, Indiana, WV and other states. Google before you decide anything.
Although I am Canadian, I find this to be shocking stereotyping! And I don't care if you lived there!

I have visited Texas twice, and I found it to be a warm, varied and interesting state! My husband and I are considering purchasing a home there for winters. I have many awesome Baptist friends in Texas, and I am praying about attending a theological institution to complete a Ph.D in Texas!

I hope some day you will learn that God loves people everywhere, and where people live does not diminish their value in God's eyes!

The article and opinion are misleading. Like most liberal states, they have a few large cities that are predominantly liberal. The rest of the state is not. Look at the congressional delegates. The congressional district I lived in for years was held by a republican.

Having said that, these statements by Cuomo only illustrate the true bigotry, intolerance and ignorance of the left. Time and time again they call names and make foundational statements without fact or even common sense.....

but they sure have a following.

Integrity and personal responsibility is too hard a sell in these liberal areas.

I know that just went over the head of liberals here so I will rephrase..

Get a job, stop doing drugs, pay for your rent and food and move out of your mom's house.

I know, it will never happen.....that's why we have liberal politicians.

Maybe I should post a pic of my house. Even my whole neighborhood. Nice, sturdy brick homes evawhere! Then again that would debunk the stereotype, and we can't have that.

I don't even have a car sitting on concrete blocks in my yard! WHOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAA....

Glad you're such an expert. I'm sure you won't mind the cartel activity, the murder rate being one of the highest in the country and having everyone around you be able to carry a gun!

One of those nice quaint border towns where cartels actively drive around showing off fully automatic weapons and fire across the border will be a great place for a winter retreat!

Better turn on the news and check out Syria, Haiti, Africa, Burma, Afghanistan, Iraq, Mexico, Brazil, North Korea, Chechnya, Tibet, India, Iran and I'm sure I forgot a few but you can see public beheadings based on people being witches, possessed by devils, rape, murder, genocide, wars, famine, total poverty due to lack of education and here people reject education in favor of magic in order to try and make this country a third world place! Then people blame the president! But the president does not believe in magic...

All of those illegal activities, near the border is because of the same liberal policies that make New York a place to leave, federal policies, like amnesty for illegals.

Maybe its time conservatives do leave New York and all liberal states and form our own union. We will see how well those states can function without capitalism.....I envision an economy very simular to Greece.

Oh so you want a civil war? You want the big cities and all of the countries money to leave so you can be impoverished in private? Its simple! Move to a super impoverished area with a high illiteracy rate and you will be happy!

Becareful though, they cook a lot of meth, smoke plenty of weed, buy lotto tickets, and mcdonalds in these areas!

I had no idea the NY was such a righteous place to live compared to everywhere else in the world. Of course we all now that poverty is a sin and materialism and cool expensive houses is the key that gets you into Heaven.

Oh, and the murder rates are usually secluded to particular cities. Not the entire state. Tennessee(wher I live) is considered the most dangerous state in the US yet the majority of crime is in Memphis, which happens to be a highly liberal area. AS a matter of fact if you looked at the top dangerous cities in America you would see they are predominately liberal, and cities in TX isn't even in the top 10.

As far as the drug cartel it was Lord and Savior Barack Obama that supplied Mexican drug cartels with guns.

Hey! Lets talk about the median household income! Texas, Indiana, and NY are ALL in the SAME income bracket which is 45,000-55,000.

NY has more people on welfare than TX ever has. AS a matter of fact I believe NY is #6 when it comes to welfare states.

Texas = poverty I'm sorry you don't see the truth, the truth lies in good jobs. For one Rick P (boot scooter) is deathly scared of Unions and what they bring, a fair wage. The same goes for Indiana and these other poor states.

Welfare is low in texas because you have to make less than 4 grand a year to get on it, in most other states it is a much more realistic number.

For such a christian you sure like to see the poor suffer. Albeit I am not one of you I do not like to see people suffer, I give to charity, I volunteer, I help people that are in need.

What has Obama done to you? You are fooled by the media into think people are out to get you, I'm sorry you're so gullible.

Where did I say I want to see people suffer? Seriously?
Believe it or not that are plenty of conservatives out there that help others in need and give to charity. I am one of them. I do it quite often, but I don't feel the need to brag about it. Boasting is not a Christian trait, and it certainly doesn't make you morally superior. AS a matter of fact I do what I need to to and leave it at that. I am not one that expects recognition.

What has Obama done to me? My son and I both lost our insurance because of Obamacare, and right now would be a really good time to have health insurance.
You have the nerve to call me gullible because I don't worship OBama? You're the one in a thread about Anti-Christian politicians and defending their views while questioning others salvation.

P.S.
Im not rich. As a matter of fact I struggle, but still able to survive, and I do that WITHOUT mooching off the government. It's not their job to take care of me. It's mine. It's called personal responsibility.

You don't understand Obamacare. If you are actually poor you should be voting for Obama as he is on your side.

Obamacare sets standards of healthcare coverage and minimum requirements. You get on a new plan (it costs more because the standards have gone up, this is to your benefit.) then at the end of the year you get more money back from the IRS depending on your income and healthcare payment.

How are you against this plan? You cannot afford minimum coverage? Apply for medicaid. If you live in Texas you better hope you make less than around 4 grand a year or you will not qualify.

As someone who actually has to pay taxes and gets nothing back this is my gift to you! Please use it wisely.

No I do not live in Texas as I stated earlier. I was also denied coverage for obamacare.
Sure, Obama is on my side as long as I depend fully on the government which I will not do.
Remember Obama saying if you like your insurance you can keep it? Well... He lied.

you do not understand, Obama provides no care, just medicaid. If you want "Obamacare" you must pay for it. You buy a plan that is approved by the .gov

These plans are expensive, so when you figure your taxes at the end of the year you get the money back depending on your income.

No. You don't understand. I am not trying to be ugly here but I believe I know what my situation is better than you. The fact I am telling you what happened to ME and you refuse to accept it happens just tells me that you don't understand it, and you apparently believe the lies that has been said about ACA.

On the upside I have a friend that is in the insurance business. He plans on helping me get through this(so no I am not a lost cause). He has read the ACA over and studied it. Real smart guy. Even found loopholes. Loopholes are awesome. Lets just hope I can get something.
Anyway, aside from my nonsupport of ACA I do not support many of Obama's policies. It is my right to do so. Just because he is our nations leader doesn't mean we have to like him.
I don't hate the guy, just don't like his presidency.
Now, if you don't mind I would like to get this thread back on the original topic.
