It's funny how this thread title says "You make the call." It's not up to random members of an online forum whether or not it's constitutional. Whether or not it's constitutional is something that has to be decided by the Supreme Court, based on their understanding of the Constitution.

The govt has never been able to force anyone to purchase anything, The United Supreme Court will strike down the Manitory part, if they do the entitre law is useless. The funds come from the mandatory part, Congree will have to approve funds The vote will beclose to 5-4 against Unless one choses to withdraw do to conflict of interest, Poor day in the Constitution jmo

obama care is a bad thing. If we allow that to go through we are going to lose more freedoms. Make us by insurance, then a electric car, then electric yard tools etc then on and on. We need to stop the government from doing what it was not designed to do. They need to get out of the private sector, religion and health care. Just think, what has to government really run well, and we want them looking over our health, I don't think so..As a vet, I went to nam to protect the freedom of the citizens of the United States, not to give the government more power. @acesneverwin.You should be careful of what you write.I have family members that aren't bums,they have jobs but they still can't afford healthcare.You wrote this,"And even now if you go to the emergency room,it's always these people plugging it up."I'm going to go out on a limb and say,I doubt most of the people who go to the emergency room for things that you consider to be "stupid stuff" are there because it's fun and they love waiting countless amount of hours for minimum care.They're there because they can't afford healthcare,which usually means that they don't have a primary doctor.Which brings me back to my point.Most people that go to the emergency room have jobs,but they still can't afford healthcare.In my opinion healthcare shouldn't be a privilege.I don't like the idea of a mandate that requires people who can't afford it,to by it anyway or be penalize.
