Willie doesn't talk behind someone's back so I wasn't too worried about him saying anything about you. At least he hasn't ever since I've been on here with me.

oh come on! The only real crime in that country is not paying off the officials ...Whatever they did or didn't do ...don't really matter as far a what is called a crime there...the issue is the payoff

I understand it is a corrupt country, but that doesn't excuse those athletes from what they did. They should have known better and should be punished for what they did. Do I agree with the payoff? Nope not at all. Do I believe they falsified a report to LEO's? Yep I sure do and have no tolerance for that. Did they make a mountain out of a mole hill? Yep they sure did. If the athletes would have just sucked it up and not have came up with some ridiculous story then we wouldn't be talking about this today :)

Compared to the absolute corruption in that country ...this is nothing. Here if a cop or official steps out of line ..(especially a cop) it don't matter to the media what crime was committed. Now all of a sudden the media is worried about crimes and lying ? Nothing to this story but a bunch of media types being hypocrites.

Yep I can agree with this as well. But once again those swimmers made themselves a focal point for the media. Neither you nor I would have put ourselves in that situation due to our beliefs and our disgust for the media. You would think these Americans would have some sort of common sense? I firmly believe in this statement, "out of site, out of mind"
