And then the Olympic Committee issued an apology.... my response would have been more along the lines of...BEEEEP you and you and backwards third world country. You should be honored that we graced your BEEEEP country with our presence. We will make sure our athletes never return to your BEEEEEP country
Like I said, the typical "entitled" attitude. "We walk like Gods anywhere we go, and can do anything we want."

They trashed the store and the security guard who held him at gunpoint only demanded $50 of them? Also since they were only seen coming out of the bathroom then there is no proof that they did anything to the bathroom. This will not hold up in a court of law but being that they were not given due process, it most likely never went to court
They falsified a report to LEO's of that country; that is the major crime they committed. It is all about their character at this point and from what I see their character sucks.

Wow, that is a real Christian response. I sometimes wonder if you are actually a Christian.

Oh, nuts! You mean we CAN'T? Phooey!

Because reading past histories of hundreds of posts, I came to the conclusion that we could live like the devil and sin up a storm and not worry about it.

At least, the once saved always saved eternally secure greasy grace group can.....(well.....that's what they're ACCUSED of, anyhow). ;)

(Uh-oh...What'd I just do?!)

So the charge is they urinated on the wall? Wow..these guys should be shot!
When I was manager of a resort hotel on the Jersey shore some time back, a bunch of HS grads reserved the entire second floor to celebrate the weekend. Most of them used their parents' credit cards to pay the room fee. One evening they decided it would be funny for all the guys to line up in the corridor and take a leak against the wall together. It stunk to high heaven the next morning and other guests were complaining.

We had to have professional cleaners come in ASAP and some of the carpet had to be replaced and the walls repainted. And when I charged their parents' credit cards for the damages, they screamed "unfair" and tried to accuse me of exaggerating the extent of the damages. They were vile and disgusting.

What they did NOT get charged for was the mess they left in their rooms; soda & beer poured on the carpet and mattresses, bathrooms left looking like the primate house at the zoo, knobs off the a/c units, venetian blinds & lampshades with cigarette holes burned in them, stolen linens, etc. Those young people were the cause of my leaving that job. :p

Your post Auntie is telling of why we have many of the problems we do in society today. Junior does something wrong and Mommy and Daddy bail them out. No calls to the Hotel from the people involved apologizing I'm sure. This is why the Police did wrong, happens almost every day now. Yes Law Enforcement officials can be crooked and do the wrong things at times, but when a police officer tells you to put your weapon down or pulls you over, do what they ask. Don't be an idiot.

In this case we have a bunch of drunk idiots in another country vandalizing a store. Then someone wants to tell off the hosting country? Are you kidding me? What does that say about America? Frankly I'm embarrassed for our country. If they were in Thailand or Japan those men would be tied up to a post in the blazing sun and whipped.

Make your children take responsibility for there actions. Because if you don't it'll be a whole lot more difficult to bail them out of prison someday.

It wasn't a debate until you took the opposing view and accused me of being a legalist. Just because I say if you don't follow every law to the letter and get circumcised while standing on your head in a pool of water singing God save the queen, doesn't mean I'm a legalist. (does it?) :p

Wow, you worked at a hotel when The Who stayed there?
I hope you got autographs? ;)

So so someday if my Son or Daughter comes in and pisses all over your rug and smashes your valuables, can I call you to tell you off when you decide to press charges?

You need to excuse her. ( I'll explain it to you in a PM.)
That's cheap gossip. You don't know me (us) or my (our) story(s).
Always free to talk TO, not about, around, or behind!

Yeah, actually one of the boys did apologize. Profusely, as a matter of fact.

See, what had happened was two of the mothers were so angry at me for accusing their "innocent" sons, they actually came down from NY to "put the screws to me", as they say. I mean, they verbally threatened to do me harm upon arrival. Just as I was coming out from my office to deal with the both of them, one of their muscle-head sons rushed me like a linebacker.

Unfortunately for them, they had no idea I grew up in the ghetto and am an excellent street boxer. In the end, my co-worker had to extract a baseball bat from my clenched hands and pin my arms behind me while the ladies hurriedly paid the bill for damages and the son cried like a school girl how sorry he was and what a great hostess I had been to them.

And that's the weekend I put in my resignation. :p

Baloney, I don't gossip or PM about people, and I especially don't PM and talk down about my brothers and sisters or talk behind their backs. And the grace comment was a joke, doofus.

Oh my goodness, that's terrible. I have seen some pretty bad parent behavior at my Kid's school. When little kid doesn't get his way or Mommy wants to pick child up but child is on the bus already, that Mommy who had another kid with her used about every curse word under the sun. She was outside talking or yelling at the Principle about it during car pool time. She didn't notify the school ahead of time, but decided to show up and pick up her kid. She then said she was pulling the kid out and the school, which has a waiting list took her at her word and filled the spot, it was the third day of school so it wasn't hard to do. Well then precious Mommy sends kid to school, school calls her tells her to come get her precious and then a battle ensued. Mommy calls the media lies through her teeth and tries to slander school and principal on social media. Parents from the school including me stand behind the principal and school and tell the real story. Preciousness Mommy shuts up and whimpers away with tail between her legs.

Moral of the last post, no matter how many temper tantrums you throw or how many swear words you use or how many times Mommy and Daddy bail you out, you're not above the law or rules of the establishment.
