As she is spreading it through this thread, I'd be surprised if she is not 1) naïve regarding legitimate news sources vs. those with a deliberate slant, or 2) a Palestinian propagandist, whether wittingly or unwittingly, herself.
i don't see her as engaging in propaganda...although i reject the label 'persecution of christians' for these events...it is a fact that christians are inadvertently affected by israeli restrictions against palestinian arabs...

As Kayla pointed out with this post ... ... that is real persecution. This isn't happening in Israel to Palestiniana Christians. Israel isn't doing this to anyone. Christians doing this to anyone anywhere in the world. Acts such as these are the sole purview of Islamist terrorists.
Don't get me wrong, I have respected Angela in nearly every other topic...but in this I guess we differ quite a bit.

Actually, Palestinian Christians are a mix of Orthodox, Catholic and a few evangelicals mixed in. And the point is that they are our brothers and sisters. We have no right to judge if they are saved, if they love Jesus, they are saved. My grandparents were Orthodox, and they loved Jesus with all their hearts. My grandmother's prayers are what saved me, along with her fervent witness that one had to believe in Jesus to be saved.

It pains me when people minimize the sufferings of Christians in Israel, because of favoritism for the Jews, who are not Christians and may never be! Dispensationalism aside, of course!
I think that we can rightly sympathize with their pleight. However, I think it is wrong to attribute it to prejudice.

If for six months, every time you get close to a blond person you get kicked in the shins; it would not be prejudice to become defensive around blonds.... even if there happen to be a few nice ones somewhere.
