Not at all. It's very obvious that the voting population will vote for one or the other....even if they hold their nose to do so.

A third party candidate hasn't been a viable option EVER, that I remember. Even less so for a write-in.

So, if voters are going to vote one way or the other, and it's a close race, then every person that DOESN'T vote is actually giving a one-vote advantage to the candidate they wouldn't have voted for, had they chosen to hold their nose and vote.

I mean, come on.... the two candidates are not even CLOSE in ideology... it's the details that turn voters off.

The only way that YOUR scenario happens (no impact on the election) would be for every potential Trump supporter who decides to NOT vote, to convince a potential Hillary supporter to not vote, as well.

If someone votes third party, write-in, or doesn't vote at all, it wouldn't be one-vote because both parties would be losing said vote. Hillary supporters can make the same claim as Trump supporters by saying how a write-in is giving my vote for Trump. It's really no different.

We still use paper forms here. There is no keyboard to type in names.

And, although I voted, I am as on the fence as can be. My stomach truly twists the more I study Trump. I cannot/will not vote for a compulsive liar who will desert the people she was hired to protect. She is a criminal, but is Trump worth it at any level? He doesn't represent a single thing I believe in. I suspect I'll be deciding once and for all sometime around Halloween, since this is pretty much a monster of an election anyway.

If we don't vote for Trump we had better vote for conservatives in Congress.

My question is there were other choices, why Trump??? I liked Ben Carson but I knew people wouldn't vote for him. But Marco Rubio??? What's so special about this goofy womanizing reality show host? I don't get it.

If we could come up with one choice we all could hack, then spread the news around as a write in choice, we still have another choice. The problem is Is there one guy we all could hack?
