PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP RELEASES LETTER TO PRO-LIFE LEADERS

As Joe Biden caves to the radical pro-abortion left and works to implement nationwide, taxpayer-funded abortion until birth, President Trump has stood strong in his pro-life commitments. President Trump is the most pro-life president in American history, and with four more years in the White House he will continue to transform the federal judiciary by appointing judges who recognize the sanctity of life and finally defeat the Democrat-backed abortion industry.

Today in North Carolina, Vice President Mike Pence met with pro-life leaders at the Susan B. Anthony List while Eric Trump led an Evangelicals for Trump event, demonstrating the Trump Administration's strong pro-life convictions. In a letter to leaders in the pro-life movement, President Trump reiterated his commitment to defend the unborn:

"As I seek re-election this November, I need your help in contrasting my bold pro-life leadership with Joe Biden’s abortion extremism. The Democratic Party unequivocally supports abortion on-demand, up until the moment of birth, and even infanticide -- leaving babies to die after failed abortions. Joe Biden’s embrace of this extreme position is most evidenced by his support for taxpayer funding of abortion on-demand. Forcing taxpayers to pay for abortions is an abhorrent position that must be defeated at the ballot box. Joe Biden has doubled down on these positions with his selection of abortion extremist Kamala Harris as his running mate. With your help, I will win re-election, ensuring we have another four years to fight in the trenches for unborn children and their mothers."

Trump is pro-life. However, he is not able to make laws. And likely abortion will never be made illegal in total as it was prior to Roe v. Wade because of the constitutional point SCOTUS made in that case. The supreme court would have to reverse itself in the matter of women's privacy. Not likely to ever happen.

What may happen though is that the Supreme Court could direct that the issue of abortion be resolved by the individual states. Some states it would be illegal, some legal up to a certain point, and a few, New York in particular, up to the moment of birth. What Congress needs to do is to decide exactly at what point a human life exists. I believe a human life begins at conception. Passing such a declaration would greatly limit or even eliminate legal abortion except perhaps for a few circumstances.

If I am not mistaken, the legal idea that life begins at conception is what led to birth control being outlawed up until 1965 when the law outlawing BC was overturned by the SCOTUS. Griswold vs. State of Connecticut.

If Congress arrived at the decision life begins at conception that would have to occur again because birth control methods preclude life from taking hold in the womb.
In 1973's Roe V. Wade decision the determination as pertained to Roe permitted states to limit abortion.Roe V. Wade determined abortion was legal up to the 6th month to the baby's point of viability.

Another case that was decided and published at the same time as Roe v. Wade. It is known as a companion case because its language applies and furthers that of Roe V. Wade but pertains to the states rights to extend beyond the six month limit imparted in Roe V. Wade, this case is known as Doe vs. Bolton. This case gives states the right to abort from six months on because the language empowers the health of the mother. Therefore, as example, if a woman would die carrying to term and this is found out when she is in her 8th month, a doctor could then prescribe a late term abortion. Or, a clinic could perform the procedure legally.

The Democrats have for some time now hoped to codify Roe V. Wade. This means that Doe vs. Bolton would be immaterial. Codification of Roe V. Wade would mean abortion is permitted at any time. Even immediately after birth. Something HRC and Joe Biden and Harris support. And something that as we know NYC legislature made law there even without Roe V. Wade being codified. Meaning abortion rights would be a federal law.

Sounds real complicated and messy. Isn't abortion after birth murder? Anyone that is for that is sick in the head.

How can anyone support a chronic liar, immoral, unethical, greedy person to be our leader? Do you understand how his negative character will affect the morality of the new generation of catholics? Will our children think it is OK to bully and lie to get ahead? Will our children think it is OK to ignore the less fortunate? Do we want our mission to be America first and me first as the right way to think?

To get technical, the birth control pill (Estrogen) dosent allow ovulation, so the egg & sperm never meet for "conception", same would apply to a condom or diaphragm?

I believe it's going to be a blanket decision that affects all 50 States and territories, to believe otherwise is naieve.

The 14th Amendment in (Personhood) will be recognized, therefore killing a (Person) is murder.

Sorta like it's ok to murder in California, New York, Oregon, but not in the rest of the country?

Aint gonna happen with a 6/3 Conservative majority in the coming US Supreme Court

Just as the decision of Roe v. Wade forced all states in 1973 to apply killing the unborn as legal, it will be taken away the same way.

The birth control pill and IUD came on the market in 1960. The SCOTUS Griswold v. Connecticut decision occurred in 1965.

That would certainly be ironic in that the 14th Amendment regarding life might overturn Roe V Wade when it was this same Amendment that the majority of the Supreme Court concocted something that allowed this evil practice. Yes, outlaw abortion in all 50 states, US Territories, and Washington D.C. Praying hard for the 6/3 majority and it will probably be a 6 / 3 decision that overturns Roe V Wade. Hard to imagine Chief Justice Roberts siding with a losing cause in the minority. This country has a serious law & order problem for sure. Trump and the Supremes are gonna right this ship.

Prosecuted for giving advice, on the (Pill) or the use of a diaphragm for the woman, wow.
The law prior to its repeal in the Griswold case prohibited birth control by married couples. If you can believe it.
