There are three factors that usually make a poop hole country
Crime
Poverty
Rigid Theocratic government.
there are more than 3 factors that usually make your posts laughable but let's just go with 3

1. you made the post
2. you never back up what you say with anything even slightly resembling support for what you post
3. your comments often include a jab at God

no exception to your current offering

That's backwards Willie. No fat cat EVER hired someone to produce a product there is no demand for. You don't create supply and hope a demand for it develops, even you have to admit that's bad business. NO, every. single. job. created is the result of a demand for a product or service.

And who creates demand?

CONSUMERS.

Trickle down DOES NOT WORK. 30 years of experience proves that. It has failed everywhere it has been tried. Draw down, where money is put into the pockets of consumers who then create a demand by spending it, is the only way you're going to increase the need for supply. Which is the only time any smart fat cat is going to then create the jobs to fill the demand.

Now the caveat is that you don't just hand cash to people. It starts with a living wage. Once people can actually afford a roof, food, and medical care, then they will spend on other items and create the demand that then prompts the fat cats to create jobs. Face it, if rich people paid their employees a large enough share that they could actually afford healthcare, then rich people wouldn't have to be taxed to help pay for other people's health care. If companies paid their employees enough to afford food then we wouldn't have to tax the fat cats to pay for people's food. If employers paid employees enough that they could all rush out to by three-sided framistrofts, then some fat cat would step in and open a factory manufacturing framistrofts. But make no mistake, no fat cat is going to open a framistroft factory unless he see's that he's going to be able to actually sell framistrofts.

Rich people DO NOT create jobs.

CONSUMERS DO.

Talk about a mic drop!!!!!

I'm not sure anyone actually responded/addressed this post but my goodness... This post should be stickied on the thread and captioned on FOX News for a complete 24 hours.

I have a feeling I'll like many of your posts, brother! :)

Their countries are pretty terrible, they ruined their own countries because they forsook the Lord. We don't want the sin of Balaam. President Trump is totally right, we do not want the invaders to come in and ruin our country like they ruined their own. They can cry about what words are used, but the principle remains the same, we reject the sin of Balaam.
Christianity is alive and well in Africa south of the Sahara. That is something that cannot be said about the USA and Europe.

The politically correct humanists and atheists have the upper hand in the USA. The idea of separation of church and state has been corrupted (evolved) from the government cannot force a faith on you, to you cannot show your faith in public places, like schools courtrooms etc.

Sure there are areas where a Christian can be a Christian in the USA, but the social move is towards the PC snowflakes and suppression of Christian values.

What are Evangelical values worth in the USA when Evangelicals back Trump? Is it Christian to back a sexual molester, a pathological liar, a man who has an 11 month affair with a porn actress when his wife gives birth to their child, a man who is a serial adulterer having no loyalty to any of his string of wives?

What "bible" do you Christian Trump supporters read. I read the Bible given by God. In it I see no guidelines to follow the world, and even worse, the world according to Trump.

Can someone explain how a Christian can support Trump and still feel clean in their soul?

Africa is a FAR more Christian place than either The USA or Europe. Africans generally have an understanding of the spiritual reality we Christians should reflect in our daily pilgrimage through this evil sin infested world.

Voting for Trump last year I can understand. There were two major candidates. Trump vs. Clinton.

In my opinion, Hillary is a corrupt power hungry sociopath who used her position as Secretary of State to make merchandise of the United States. She was a warmonger. She is a classic lying politician, her promises are text book politician lies. Besides that and a lot more, she appeared to be covering up serious health problems. Why did she disappear for weeks at a time when she should have been campaigning?

Trump for all his flaws seemed to be a fresh wind. Even though he has always been a pathological liar, he made campaign promises that warmed the hearts of many, especially people who felt steamrolled by the big business/Washington mob. It felt like even if he kept only half of his promises there would be a change in the USA.

Trump vs. Clinton? Why not Trump?

Now a year down the line, the swamp has not been drained, there are a number of swamp creatures that have been added. The swamp is flourishing better than ever. Wall Street moved into the White House. There is more Wall Street influence in Trump's cabinet than any president's cabinet before.

What about all those promises he made to the American worker, to the middle class? He is with his Wall Street buddies. The good people of West Virginia and Pennsylvania that voted for Trump are forgotten in the Oval Office and on his Mar-a-Lago jaunts.

Trump said he would be so busy he wouldn't have time for golf. No president has played golf as much as this guy. He is so busy playing golf, watching TV and visiting Mar-a-Lago that he has little time over to run the country.

The government shuts down. What does Trump do? Jets off to a do at Mar-a-Lago.

His tweeting exposes his inner id showing himself to be too emotionally immature to be the President of the USA.

That his morals were in the gutter was well known before the election, but now they have been exposed daily.

People in other countries all across the globe are either shaking their heads in disbelief of laughing over Donald Trumps behaviour.

It is SAD!!!

You being on the planet twice... or even a million times longer than me won't make Ricky's factual points an "opinion". That's not how facts work.

Assuming you do have the business experience, how then can you say "not much to back that post up"? Ricky's major point is that consumers (the need) are what drives people to create a product/service. There was a time minimum wage WAS a living wage. Over time, through inflation, the minimum wage has not got up in proportion to that living wage. Since Reagan created corporate welfare, the gap between minimum wage and a living wage has grown exponentially.

One is truly ignorant of the economy AND history if they think trickle-down has worked... equally as ignorant as saying socialism has worked beautifully in the past. The best system is when you take the best of both worlds... capitalism with social programs/institutions (which most countries do), but not to lean too heavily in one direction. Since corporate welfare has been instituted, it absolutely has been leaning too much towards the extremes of both sides; The people who allow greed to pay workers a wage that is substandard to live and people who abuse the welfare system because they make more money NOT working than they would if they did work. A blind man can see that's a problem.

There was no consumer demand for kerosene until John D. Rockefeller started producing it.
There was no demand for the iPhone, until Apple made it.

No kidding! Or in other words, as Ricky put it, "Consumers allowed your husband to work by having a need for your husband's service." If there wasn't a need for whatever your husband does, would your husband have a job? Oh okay, so you DO agree! Right on! :)

my husband is self employed and does very well...he provides a service. in fact, he does so good, he can't keep up because he is good at the service he provides

The Lord has blessed his business! That's wonderful to hear that because there are so many consumers, there were more jobs created to fill their needs! Maybe Ricky was onto something after all? lol

Well, chances are, no one did invent the service your husband does. If he's an electrician, there have been electricians for a while now... If he's a plumber, there have been plumbers for a while now... So it's true no one created "a job", but the consumers made your husband doing the job/work a viable and lucrative option. Without the consumer, there is no service... it's pretty easy to understand.

That isn't exactly true. People enjoyed being able to see at night... and kerosene produced a better illuminant than whale oil. Thus, there was a demand for kerosene. When they figured out how to produce it cheaper, the demand grew even higher to the point whale oil virtually became extinct. :p

well that is typical from people who think they know it all

have fun with that

I promise you that you will have a different outlook in time

an education and the brainwashing that goes along with it nowadays, is not reality and experience is a whole nother ballgame

and those ARE the facts whether or not you like them or think you know better

try running a business with 30 or so employees and see how that goes..theory will not work. Ricky does not seem to like anyone with money to spend on anything but the bare necessities so you and him can chum up on that and tag each other all you like :p

meantime, enjoy your hipster club Adolf

nice post hipster dude, but you are just dodging

I can see much farther than you because of age and experience and you can nix that all you want but time will prove me right

but of course the Lord has blessed his business...but you know why? because he goes out of his way for people, gives older folks breaks and does favors for them and does not charge because he knows they are a little tight on the money. so of course God blesses. he honors God and does what is right for people

yeah...Ricky cannot add to the word so I doubt it. Biblical principals are true and God does give financial blessing as well. people have a responsibility to share that blessing as well

Ricky cannot add to the word so I doubt it. /QUOTE]

I don't need to add to God's word ... I think it's pretty clear:

Job 31:24-28 If I have put my confidence in gold, And called fine gold my trust, If I have gloated because my wealth was great, And because my hand had secured so much; If I have looked at the sun when it shone or the moon going in splendor, And my heart became secretly enticed, And my hand threw a kiss from my mouth, That too would have been an iniquity calling for judgment, For I would have denied God above.

Psalm 52:6-7 The righteous will see and fear, And will laugh at him, saying, "Behold, the man who would not make God his refuge, But trusted in the abundance of his riches And was strong in his evil desire."

Proverbs 11:28 He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like the green leaf.

Jeremiah 49:4 How boastful you are about the valleys! Your valley is flowing away, O backsliding daughter who trusts in her treasures, saying, 'Who will come against me?'

Ezekiel 28:5 By your great wisdom, by your trade You have increased your riches And your heart is lifted up because of your riches

Psalm 62:10 Do not trust in oppression and do not vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.

Proverbs 18:23 The poor man utters supplications, But the rich man answers roughly.

Proverbs 28:11 The rich man is wise in his own eyes, But the poor who has understanding sees through him.

Job 20:17-20 He does not look at the streams, The rivers flowing with honey and curds. He returns what he has attained And cannot swallow it; As to the riches of his trading, He cannot even enjoy them. For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor; He has seized a house which he has not built. Because he knew no quiet within him, He does not retain anything he desires.

Proverbs 15:6 Great wealth is in the house of the righteous, But trouble is in the income of the wicked.

Proverbs 30:8-9 Keep deception and lies far from me, give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion, That I not be full and deny You and say, "Who is the LORD?" Or that I not be in want and steal, And profane the name of my God.

Deuteronomy 32:15 Jeshurun grew fat and kicked; filled with food, they became heavy and sleek. They abandoned the God who made them and rejected the Rock their Savior.

Nehemiah 9:25-26 They captured fortified cities and a fertile land They took possession of houses full of every good thing, Hewn cisterns, vineyards, olive groves, Fruit trees in abundance So they ate, were filled and grew fat, And reveled in Your great goodness. "But they became disobedient and rebelled against You, And cast Your law behind their backs And killed Your prophets who had admonished them So that they might return to You, And they committed great blasphemies.

Hosea 13:6 As they had their pasture, they became satisfied, And being satisfied, their heart became proud; Therefore they forgot Me.

Proverbs 23:4 Do not weary yourself to gain wealth, Cease from your consideration of it.

Haggai 1:3-5 Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, "Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this house lies desolate?" Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider your ways!

Leviticus 19:13 You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired man are not to remain with you all night until morning.

Deuteronomy 24:12-15 If he is a poor man, you shall not sleep with his pledge. When the sun goes down you shall surely return the pledge to him, that he may sleep in his cloak and bless you; and it will be righteousness for you before the LORD your God. You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your countrymen or one of your aliens who is in your land in your towns.

Proverbs 22:16 He who oppresses the poor to make more for himself or who gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.

Isaiah 1:23 Your rulers are rebels And companions of thieves; Everyone loves a bribe And chases after rewards. They do not defend the orphan, Nor does the widow's plea come before them.

Jeremiah 22:13 Woe to him who builds his house without righteousness And his upper rooms without justice, Who uses his neighbor's services without pay And does not give him his wages,

Micah 6:12 For the rich men of the city are full of violence, Her residents speak lies, And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

Malachi 3:5 Then I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his wages, the widow and the orphan, and those who turn aside the alien and do not fear Me," says the LORD of hosts.

Job 31:24, 25, 28 If I have put my confidence in gold, And called fine gold my trust, If I have gloated because my wealth was great, And because my hand had secured so much; ... That too would have been an iniquity calling for judgment, For I would have denied God above.

Psalm 52:7 Behold, the man who would not make God his refuge, But trusted in the abundance of his riches And was strong in his evil desire."

Proverbs 18:11 A rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own imagination.

*
Matthew 4:9-10 and he said to Him, "All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only’”.

Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.

Matthew 13:22 And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Matthew 19:21-22Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.

Mark 4:19 but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Mark 10:21-22 Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, "One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." But at these words he was saddened, and he went away grieving, for he was one who owned much property.

Luke 6:20 “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. 21 Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. 22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. 23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets. 24 “But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort. 25 Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep. 26 Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.

Luke 8:14 The seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity.

Luke 12:13-21 [SUP]13 [/SUP]Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”[SUP]14 [/SUP]Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” [SUP]15 [/SUP]Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” [SUP]16 [/SUP]And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. [SUP]17 [/SUP]He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ [SUP]18 [/SUP]“Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. [SUP]19 [/SUP]And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ [SUP]20 [/SUP]“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ [SUP]21 [/SUP]“This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth

Luke 16:19-21 Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor every day. And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores, and longing to be fed with the crumbs which were falling from the rich man's table; besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores … 25 But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony

Luke 18:22-23 When Jesus heard this, He said to him, "One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." But when he had heard these things, he became very sad, for he was extremely rich.

1 Timothy 3:3 not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money.

1 Timothy 6:8-9 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

1 Timothy 6:17 Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

James 2:6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court?

James 5:1 Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. 6You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.

my husband is self employed and does very well...he provides a service. in fact, he does so good, he can't keep up because he is good at the service he provides

he has hired someone to pick up what he cannot manage due to workload, trained the guy in and people are satisfied

that's how it works and even on a much bigger scale
If your husband's running an agency for supermodels, tell him I'm available
