I'm thinking Putin could get Gaza/Palestinians/Hamas/West Bank to demilitarize IF he promises them full military support through becoming an ally of Russia. Imagine being a tiny population backed by the might of Russia. That might be enough to make one disarm willingly. Ukraine gave up their nukes for the same agreement with the west. (Please don't turn this into a debate about Ukraine.)

So let's say they agree to become allies with Russia. Boom peace treaty signed.
What happens if Israel violates the treaty, or if it's perceived that they violated the treaty?

Yup, then you get the predicted attack on Israel lead by Gog and the allies.

This sounds plausible. Israel will eventually sign a 7 year treaty for security purposes. Perhaps the time is now.

we need a couple of wars before the 7 years tribulation, yes we need the Gog-Magog war, but that is before the Tribulation. This war will also be won supernaturally. Did a study of this a while ago and I come to the conclusion that Satan will head the army, which is why God will intervene directly with supernatural victories.

I am just curious as to why people think Russia is Gog/Magog. From my studies it is one possibility that Russia could be such. However it is also historically plausible that Magogites could be either the Scandanavians, Germans, or British/Irish. Granted at this point in time it is also feasible almost all the races of Japheth are so mixed in that just about any European nation could be called the land of Magog.

A point often over looked when considering Gog and Magog is the following...

1. I will TURN THEE back and put HOOKS into thy jaws...

Russia will be coming back from something that has already taken place when they get drawn into the conflict with Israel that the Muslims cannot win.

2. Daniel...The bear nation is ALREADY RAISED on ONE SIDE when COMMANDED by the three ribs in the bear's mouth (allies) to RISE and devour much flesh...

Why would hamas demilitarize for russia when they want a caliphate state? Why not just wait for ISIS to plow through the rest of the area and join them?

Why is it that it says they come from the north riding on horses? Is horse the hebrew word for tank/airplane/troop transport?
If any army isn't riding horses against isreal can they fit this description?

I don't think much of it, except these nations aren't going to jump in this thing together unless someone begins some negotiation relationship somewhere. They will gather together against Israel, which means they probably have to become allies first...... thus these negotiations waaaaaay in advance.......... make sense?
