The world is all ready nigh unbearable. Sure their armies have authority to fight. Don't mean they need to massacre people like the pagans do though.

Okay to be clear here. When you say massacre and slaughter, are you meaning like they are capturing them and then summarily executing them, or do you mean simply they are beating the tar out of them in the field of battle?
The latter. They are basically a bunch of undisciplined, foreign amateurs, who are jacked up on amphetamines (Captagon) and religious extremism, who are facing a professional, well experienced army that is fighting for the preservation of its own country. I think that the only time that captured ISIS/Al Queda terrorists are massacred is when the Syrian militias get ahold of them. These are basically trained/armed civilians who have had their towns destroyed and neighbors beheaded by the jihadists.

There has been a lot of pressure on the US to do more in Syria lately by news agencies and even world leaders. Everybody seems to have an agenda in Syria, but not all agree. Now Turkey is railing on the US because it is supporting the Kurds who Turkey hates.

Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan slams U.S. on Kurd support - CNN.com

Quote from article...
Erdogan ripped into Washington on Wednesday, claiming it's responsible for a "sea of blood" in Syria for what he called its ignorance about dangers posed by other groups, not just ISIS, in the region. Specifically, he slammed America's refusal not just to resist branding Syrian Kurdish fighters as terrorists but in supporting them militarily.
Also in other news Russia accuses the US of bombing in Aleppo, but the US denies the claims.

The US and it's UN allies are trying to get Russia to stop bombing by playing the humanitarian card, but Russia says it will be ready for peace talks after March 1st, probably because it will be done mopping up by then. LOL

Russia Proposes March Truce In Syria, But No Agreement Has Been Reached

Quote from article....
"It'll be easy to get a ceasefire soon because the opposition will all be dead," a Western diplomat told Reuters. "That's a very effective ceasefire."

It will be interesting to see if their overall strategic goals have been met by then.
I think the US's main goal is to get Assad and his government out of power, and Russia's main goal is to keep Assad and his government in power. Killing a couple hundred thousand "terrorists" along the way is just icing on their proxy war cakes.

This gives a good idea how wire-guided missiles are being used in Syria. They were designed for tanks, but here's SAA firing on small groups of jihadists.

Found out this is a thermobaric munition. Death within a 15 meter radius; severe injuries in a 25m radius.

Kinsibba, last terrorist stronghold in Latakia province, just liberated. Here's a night-vision video showing what a tough time the terrorists had there.

The media are misleading the public on Syria - The Boston Globe

Quote from article...
Turkish-Saudi backed ‘moderate rebels’ showered the residential neighborhoods of Aleppo with unguided rockets and gas jars,” one Aleppo resident wrote on social media. The Beirut-based analyst Marwa Osma asked, “The Syrian Arab Army, which is led by President Bashar Assad, is the only force on the ground, along with their allies, who are fighting ISIS — so you want to weaken the only system that is fighting ISIS?”This does not fit with Washington’s narrative. As a result, much of the American press is reporting the opposite of what is actually happening.

Cauldron in E. Aleppo completely collapses. 31 villages liberated overnight. E. Aleppo now safe. Apparently most of the estimated 800 ISIS jihadists fled while they still could.
