Right. If I wanted to go hear a motivational speech, I'd just pick a secular venue........... :cautious:

Congrats to the Southern Baptists. I'm sure you'll be happy to get rid of this infiltrator. Now hurry up and get rid of Russel Moore while you're at it.

Trump did a lot of good things for the faith community in general, but he really made major inroads for the Christian evangelical agenda that has not been seen in a very long time.

She opposed him over some controversial things that maybe happened or maybe didn't happen. She handled it really poorly, showing no grace or mercy, while disregarding his major contributions to the people of the nation.

Does straining a gnat and swallowing a camel sound familiar?

She probably hasn't felt at home with Southern Baptists for a long time, and now using Trump as an opportunity to get out. It is probably the easiest way to get out/disassociate herself from Southern Baptists instead of going into other reasons (I believe she also favors women being pastors).

Haha had to look to make sure I was on a Christian site. Calling one of Gods kids "cancer". If.. IF this is one of the ways she was treated..I don't blame all those that left. We speak word of life.. "we let no corrupt communication, any unwholesome talk, foul or abusive language, speech, dirty talk, don't say anthing that would hurt (another person) come out of your mouth, instead speak only what is good so that you can give help where ever is needed, but that which is good so that the edification of faith, but such as is good edifying as the need may be, so that is gives grace to the hearers.". We believe in Jesus AMEN.. do we show fruits?

I don't personally know this woman never prayed with her I don't know her heart. I know my Father I know what His word says.. not here to please anyone but Him. If someone treated YOU like this.. I would speak the same for you. I lay everything I am everything He has done every crown I have at His feet. He is always on 24/7 we SHINE in every word deed for HIM so they that know Him not believe have every lasting life.

Sidenote.. odd how many on the left are missing him :)

This is the truth of the whole matter. She favors women being pastors, and had even at one point claimed to want to be president of the southern baptist convention. She was called up on the carpet for that, and has been criticized for the woman pastor bit. She started out promoted by the Southern Baptist convention as a teacher for women at women's conventions and meetings. She was paid well and promoted, but her eye was on the grand prize and they shot her down over it. But she knew the rules from the start. Southern baptists don't do women pastors. I bet that from here out they won't promote women speakers at all.

>>Because of her opposition to Trump and her outspokenness in confronting sexism and nationalism in the evangelical world<<

"Confronting nationalism"? Oh, I see. So that would be "promoting Globalism" i.e. the New World Order a.k.a. Satanic World Order

well I don't know her teachings much, but I mean if they are going to exclude all women teachers they will miss out. There are some good ones out there. Ones that don't mix politics with church.
Who would that be?

Well I'm my church our vicar is a man but we have an associate minister who is female.

women pastors may not be biblical but God does use this lady and she is v Godly and walks in the Spirit
Well, I'm not talking about whether women preaching is biblical or not. I just though you may have a woman teacher in particular that you think is a good teacher. I was going to give her a listen and see what she has to say.
