Will Trump testify before congress?
President Trump does not need to testify before Congress, because, as President of the United States, he is acting with the authority of the office, and has executive privilege to take the actions he has taken to protect the interests of the United States.

There was a really cool flyby today of two F-22 fighter jets by the library here while I was reading the Bible...but, it will have to wait for another day. To me, it confirmed the victory of the United States in the war against terrorism and other world threats, and to me, was a confirmation of Mr. Trump's leadership of America. I think it was Psalm 97 and when I turned to Romans 2, they flew by...
pretty cool stuff!!
I understand.

You understand what?
Actually, it was Psalm 102 I was reading, sorry, I read a lot of Psalms--

"For He has kept watch from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven the LORD kept vigil over the earth." (Psalm 102:19-KJV).

"Thou didst found the earth of old, and the heavens are the work of Thy hands. They shall perish, but Thou remainest. They all shall wear out like a garment; like a coat Thou shalt change them, and they shall be changed. But Thou art the same; Thy years shall never end." (Psalm 102:25-27-KJV).

Then I turned to Romans 2 where the Apostle Paul teaches about how religious performance and obeying religious laws can not justify us in the eyes of God, but a heart reborn in God's love through the New Covenant, sealed by the perfect offering of Jesus outside the gates of Jerusalem. This is what the book of Romans is all about.

" A Jew (or son/daughter of God) is a Jew deep in his/[her] heart, and so circumcision [ceremony of religious legal obligation, or consecration to the traditional Law], is a matter of the heart, a spiritual observance [commitment/vow of allegiance] rather than a mere observance of the Law." (Romans 2:28-30).

And then the two F-22 fighter jets flew over. You don't think this was a confirmation of what I was reading?
I do...
I said that I understand becausse Trump once said he could shoot someone and not lose support and you have made the point that It doesn't matter what Trump does because he was divinely appointed, thats what I meant by I understand.:(

I'd say there was a 'witch hunt' against Obama...still probably is. trump is no more ordained or called to be president than was Obama or Bush or Reagan. I just KNOW that trump is an abomination to the human race. He is a man-child, interested in only hurling insults to those who don't do his bidding. Retribution is trump's favorite pastime.

And NO, I am not an Obama lover.

Since GWB was elected president the other side has been engaged in seeing the president fail. It has gone so far today that the only solution I see is a congressional house cleaning in 2018. In the mean time, the oval office and congress need to start each day with a good soapy mouth washing. The press and leak sources need to use Grandma's lye soap.

I love everyone, including Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump.

ok, thanks-- I thought you dismissed the interpretation of signs. Thanks for clarifying, but that is not what I meant. Everyone knows that stewardship, especially if sent by God, must be confirmed daily through faithful action, as the Apostle Paul said, it is not "license" to sin, or do whatever we want. The shipwreck of my civil marriage is proof of that, just aimlessly sailing into a hurricane like the "El Faro" hoping for the best-- well, they are at the bottom of the sea,and I was almost there with them.

Only love can be a true and everlasting foundation for marriage, just like Jesus said, "a new and everlasting covenant" which is like a marriage covenant vow. But, while on the subject-- when someone is mercilessly abusing you, it is your Christian duty to leave the marriage, since the rules for marriage are not there to allow someone to destroy our lives or mental health or emotional health. Jesus said that if someone is unfaithful to the marriage, especially if it is not an incident out of character, but a long-term affair. If someone repeats a violation of a marriage vow of trust and comes back to your house like nothing happened, you are authorized personally by Christ to ditch them immediately. If they abuse your children, it is the same thing. if somehow, they come back a "reformed rat," some people might be tempted to make it work. But, I listened to a testimony of a lady at a church once who spoke about how her childhood sweetheart husband was unfaithful, and they made it work, but it was disgusting. He sounded like a rat, and she sounded like she was dragging herself through the gutter to be friends with a rat. Sorry. A little left-over anger from sleeping with the devil...sorry... I forgive her day by day-- forgiveness is a choice, and commandment of God, but it does not mean a restoration of friendship or fellowship (this last sentence is inspired by the book "The Bondage Breaker," and Freedom in Christ Ministry"

You are disobeying the Bible-- we are commanded by the Bible to respect authority, as long as they are not abusing their authority. It is one thing to disagree with a public servant, and another thing to hurl name-calling. Please do not disrespect the office of the President of the USA, even if you disagree with the person holding the office.

There's more to that story that gives more significance to the two jets doing the flyby at that moment. AFter I left the library, I headed soon for a 200 mile drive to a church the next morning. AS I departed my new hometown, there were two eagles soaring over the highway and they circled toward a local church. Then the next morning, there were references to Romans 2, and also to Luke and Jesus calling James and John and a reference to a related Old Testament verse. This tied together the significance of the number two-- inthis case, the Law and the Gospel-- Old Testament and New Testament-- Law and Grace. it seemed like definitely a confirmation of what I was reading when the two jets did the flyby-- before the flyby of the two eagles--the fulfillment of the Old Testament Law by the New Testament of Faith. This is the heart of the Christian Bible.

Ok, I think that describes it-- don't want to get carried away by signs-- just the truth they represent.

just one more-- just hit me... come on--TWO F-22 RAPTOR'S? I know signs must be carefully discerned, but they make being a Christian VERY exciting, when things line up and have a clear meaning. It's not my imagination--give me a break! The Bible says "signs" will surround all true Christians, especially in the last days. I just love it when I feel God is communicating to me through signs-- It's am amazing way to draw Christians to a deeper relationship. Like yesterday-- I was thinking of something and that moment a little bird lit and flittered briefly on my car's rear-view mirror. Ok, so it could just be a little bird dropping by. But, if it was indeed a confirmation from GOD, that little bird carries with it "ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY OF HEAVEN AND EARTH." or...it could just be a little bird-- the psych peeps call it "ideas of reference." and "voices" of mental illness, and that can happen too. But, if you "perceive" a message, rather than "hear" it, it is more likely from God, especially if it has a positive, reassuring messager and not something arbitrary or crazy. Like last week, my new psych provider, who asked me to log anything I "heard" in my head for her "diagnosis" . So, as I drove home, I was driving over the speed limit, and heard a "quiet perception" in my mind, barely noticeable (like the still quiet voice of God Elijah heard, after the huge earthquake, and tornado on the mountain--) I "heard" "careful" so, I thought, "I wonder what that means?" and kept driving along and up ahead there was an officer who had pulled over a car for speeding... now, come on-- is that mental illness or an angel looking after me? Dr. Neil Anderson says in his book, "The Bondage Breaker," that many Christians hear "voices" and they can indeed be non-spiritual or "mental chatter" or they can be genuine perceptions leading to a greater faith and revelations from God of divine providence, or helping people to get used to inner insights, and learn how to discern them. Neil says in his book that in one church, someone hea"rd a voice that confirmed a member with cancer would live, so everyone celebrated and the man did not survive. So, obviously, this must be carefully discerned. "voices" can indeed by bogus, or, due to stress, or duress, or mental health or behavioral health,or even from malicious sources, trying to confuse us as Christians. So, just learn to hear God possibly speaking...
It's mystery that makes following Jesus so much more rewarding than, say, studying math, nothing against math, but, the LORD came to save our hearts, not our minds, one person said in here once. I'm not saying studying math or other technical things is not worthwhile, as long as you nurture your heart in college or other learning, at the same time, so as not to burn out in college which emphasizes mental over emotional growth...

well, I think I made the point, probably time to move on from this post--
Things have calmed down quite a bit since this was posted and normalized
stabilized--
but, the little bird made another appearance on the same farm--
this time, the bird flew into the garage, and then I went in to rescue it and it made a bee-line to the old farm truck, my brother and I were working on and lit briefly on the front grille. Shortly after that, we were VERY successful in fixing the truck and it FIRED UP!! YAY!! LET'S GET FIRED UP, AMERICA!! yeah.... it is an old FORD truck-- 84 I think... and it meant a lot to my bro, since he lives in an abusive situation with a cunning, tyrannical family member--
see how powerful a bird can be?
Adonai, Elohim loves birds in the Bible and instructed that birds be put on the altar curtain,... and many other verses.... "I know all the birds in the mountains..." and Jesus too: "Your Father in Heaven knows even when a sparrow falls to the ground" gotta run--
Oh yeah, and don't forget the two swans that visited my dock the day Ted Cruz dropped out of the race-- and trumpeted across the Alaskan waters.... they were announcing Trumps victory!
Anyway, I'm back to job hunting-- and I've got thousands of ideas that can earn millions...
and I can't be fired...cause I'm the CEO--

VIVA LA TRUMP!!
VIVA LA TRUMP!!
VIVA LA TRUMP!!

It didn't effect me .....f$$$$em
Let's try not to stoop to a lower level-- but, thanks for editing-- marriage is supposed to be a blessed relationship, that's why the enemies of God try and curse it, and invent their own rules. And who is the worst offender? Like the Apostle Paul said, I am among the worst who have not honored marriage. A life of abstinance was a step in the right direction, but, a few times in my life I decided that unblessed sexuality expressed in artistic images was ok, and that I could just meander into a marriage relationship to meet the demands of a disturbed individual and just make up my own rules like the rest of the non-Christian world, and my life was ship-wrecked. Was I spared because I was a Christian? On the contrary, my shipwreck was worse, because we are supposed to know better, "from whom much is given, much is expected."

Thank covers the offensive language...
The point being-- Trump is still Captain of the ship, and God is on his side...

I also try to see the positive in public leaders. Even Trump gave Ms. Clinton a compliment that seemed to bring her to the brink of tears. And I agree with former President Obama on Justice Reform and the environment.

Just a follow-up on the birds and the Bible, quoted here--
Another time, but they are all through the Bible--
Jesus said, God "knows when a sparrow falls,"
The dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit,
God instructing the Israelites to put birds on the altar curtain--
a Psalm: "I know all the birds of the mountains..."

But the other day in an Alaskan city I passed by parent with some young kids and overheard them saying in a grocery store:

"Can we buy food for the little birdies?"
"Can we buy food for the little birdies?"

Anyone who could hear that with a dry eye...I don't know-- melted my heart to tears...
They must be why the LORD spares the world, day after day, after day....

"Can we buy some food for the little birdies?"

"Can we buy some food for the little children?"

The world is hungry;
The world is thirsty...

As Christians, we are the Light of the world--
"Feed my sheep..."

Ok, I promise this is my final post on this thread. If I have more to say, I will start another thread. And, for one thing, this thread has proven true-- the witch-hunt against President Trump, and now another member of his family, have failed. A final confirmation for this posting thread, was the other day, I posted a confirmation of my stable character throughout my life, and warned those who are persecuting myself also, should beware that Elohim/Adonai, has unlimited power to protect those sons and daughters of Adam and Eve who are called to serve a calling in life, whatever it may be, through a divine confirmation.

Brother Lawrence said it well, a 16th century born-again brother, that we don't have to necessarily change things we do for a living, or other activities in our lives, although there are plenty of dramatic examples of dramatic conversions in the Bible-- the Apostle Paul for one, Brother Lawrence said that for the most part, we only have to re-dedicate what we do for higher, biblical goals, and seek God's will in all things. Brother Lawrence found a way to "love God above all," the command of Christ, working as a kitchen helper, without writing a word. And today, some 5 centuries later, millions read about his life. Most of us in this hectic world are a long way from loving God above all, but, that is a core message of salvation history revealed through the Jewish heritage.

But, the original idea-- I warned those who oppose God's servants that the Lord could, if he wished, however He chose to "travel" in the heavenly/created realm, that the Divine Creator, could appear in the sky in a "vessel" larger than the sun, to illustrate divine power. The next day, a confirmation appeared out of nowhere, as a rare thunderstorm, especially in a cool summer, passed overhead where I was staying temporarily on family property. This was also a confirmation of what has been spoken in this thread regarding the divine approval of President Trump's administration, and that God values hard work and good stewardship of assets, over major departures from Biblical morality, as Ms Clinton and Mr. Sanders were advocating. With a few limitations, the victory of this administration is an endorsement of many core values of America, especially in the past. IT appears that there is approval from Heaven to "Make America Great Again!"

A final note before closing this thread (others are welcome to post, but I'm finished) is that I read an account an hour ago or so, I believe it is Ezekiel, of the approach of divine power described as turbulent clouds, as in a thunderstorm, with divine light breaking through the approach of thunder and lightning in the sky.

So, my view after all this is that the only "witch" they are going to find on their "witch-hunt," is

If we follow your logic, then there was approval from heaven for Bill Clinton and Barack Obama to be presidents as well. Evil men have held power in various nations and empires throughout history. God was sovereign over those circumstances, but a person coming to power does not mean that God endorses him or her. That is not biblical.
