No doubt "some" - as it is today; however, with regard to prophecy - remember that 'political' Israel and 'true' Israel are two different things - which one would you say Armageddon prophecy is referring to?

And, if you wish to insist that the answer is 'ancient' Israel - how does the prophecy of Zechariah fit into any point in time of the past?

I find tangents a challenge for my tired brain so let's just go with "some" so are the "some" genetically Jewish and connected to Jacob?

How much DNA is required to have that link and how can we know what that DNA is?

I just do not understand the fusion of what is a political situation to a biblical position unless a connection can be proven in some way.

Not sure this can help much - historical record probably has a better chance of making a link.

The connection must be made between every-and-all of the detail of prophecy and that of historical events.

If it matches, it matches - if it does not, it does not.
