But yet we will elect leaders who walk away from car accidents to let their passenger drown in a ditch, or play footsie in the bathroom at the airport... that have been indoctrinated with marxist ideology, or leave american service men to die in what they KNEW at the time was a terrorist attack but yet still blame it on a you tube video, make bad deals with bad countries and continually throw our allies under the bus...not to mention ship our jobs over seas and then open the sieve to let undesirable people cross our border who bring disease death drugs and mayhem right thru our front door..... I could go on and on but it just makes me mad how BOTH parties have undermined and shredded our constitution and liberty in the name of being nice. Was Moses nice when he told the Levites to kill 3000 people? Not that I'm advocating for killing people.....just making an illustration of how big of a paper tiger we have allowed our leaders to turn us into.
Your first sentence lays it out pretty well I'd say. People elect whom they want to be "leaders". Thereby they throw away their own rights and obligations as kings. Then how are they dismayed when their own slaves which they empowered above themselves act contrary to their wishes?

A better biblical analogy in my opinion be the dynamic between Saul and David.

Sorry I went that far. You're a good friend, and I don't intend to insult you. Please forgive me.

Sorry, brother, but I don't think anyone who makes us as a party look like bigots, chauvinists, or crazies does us any favors.
We really need to stop caring if the left wants to portray us as bigots and all that....they've done it all already and without the help of Donald Trump... for a long time now. It's all just noise to distract from what their left hand is doing. When you have to crash through a brick wall you need momentum. There has not been one Republican who has gotten any traction much less any speed to crash thru this politically correct facade that our "leaders" have created..... We can't call them for what they are.... but they can murder and sell baby parts with abandon? We need to get tough and let the chips fall where they may.

Just one mans opinion.

Thats because it's good for ratings. They don't like Trump....just the dollar signs he brings.....and he is beating them at their own game. Whatever his motivation is, I cannot judge, but the fact is that he is FINALLY...getting the country talking about the real issues instead of Kim Kardashian and Brucey boy.

While it remains to be seen....we might owe Trump a big thank you and giant kiss when this is all said and done.

lol he is mainly getting the country talking about lindsey graham's cell phone and the like...thanks to all the media attention to trump all of the serious issues are either being ignored or dismissed by association with a freak show...

and i disagree that the media doesn't like trump...for the purposes of finding the candidate most easily and perhaps willingly crushed by hillary clinton they absolutely -love- him...

of course they would like you to think they are trying to destroy him...but they know that bad publicity for trump is still publicity for trump...and more importantly they know reverse psychology...

have you ever read the story about 'brer rabbit'?

A Song of the South reference. Kind of ironic given what that film is infamous for.

The reality is that when this thing shakes out, if the repubs don't put forth a candidate that trump will endorse we will have Hillary.

Just my gut feeling.

Hillary will have the advantage no matter whom the GOP puts up. The challenge is getting a candidate that can even compete with her. The only two candidates that even stand a chance to go toe-to-toe with her is Bush and Kasich.

this is called blackmail and is generally regarded as highly unethical...attempting to blackmail a nation should be a disqualifying offense in any reasonable campaign for public office...

the republicans can and should dismiss trump's blackmail attempt by pointing out the data showing that if he or his type of candidate is nominated then we will have hillary clinton as president anyway...making the blackmail pointless because caving to the blackmail and defying it would have exactly the same effect...once that becomes widely understood trump will have to realize that this is a card he doesn't actually hold...

Simply based on how how Carly shut Chris Matthews cake hole on live tv.... I'd say she would hand Hillary her you know what.

Bush is essentially Hillary...another big govt bought and paid for Politico. Kasich I don;t know that much about yet.

However...I think she made a mistake commenting about trump and his exchange with Megyn.

As much as everyone wants to demonize Trump...I have a feeling that he will emerge stronger than ever after the debate last night, because he is the only one brave enough to stand with the silent majority who need someone to lead them in sticking up the middle finger to the "establishment", who are ripping us off and stealing our country. Oh...and fox news...I knew you were phony and in the tank for the fake conservatives.
I would rather see Trump as President than Hillary...

...but I'd rather see RAND PAUL over any current candidate!

You stand by this comment, even after watching the debate? ;-)

Before the debate, I thought Jeb was just another Bush -- his words during the debate gave me a more positive outlook.

Lol Carly Fiorina is a very weak candidate. Even Trump has pointed out her enormous flaw of running a successful business straight into the ground, even being fired from HP for it. If even Trump can put her in her place then just imagine what the Clinton machine would do to her.

I agree Bush would be much the same, and I do not want Bush to win. Nevertheless, Bush is one of the few that is actually capable of dealing with both domestic and foreign policy. Bush and Clinton are not ideal, but they are capable. Kasich is the most ideal because he is capable of maintaining the domestic and foreign policy, and his record is far longer and better than Hillary and Bush.

I agree with this. I think they actually WANT Trump. Yes he has called attention to some major problems, but if people want a serious candidate who has been talking about some of the same issues in a civilized way, who is, in my opinion right on virtually every issue, and earnestly believes in our Constitution, then they should give TED CRUZ a long look. The media and left are petrified of this guy. That should tell us something.
The Lord may indeed tarry, and if He does then we as Christians have a responsibility to elect the candidate that could turn our depraved nation around. CRUZ, perhaps, CARSON, maybe even FIORINA needs our support, not this guy Trump.

Oh it is quite simple. Kasich has the most experience and also the best record. It is simple as that. Kasich has balanced Ohio's budget and eliminated our debt. Kasich when he was in the House of Representatives helped create one of the last years of fiscal sanity in American history. On top of that Kasich is a hardliner on foreign policy, though in fairness he didn't get a chance or question pertaining to foreign policy in the debates, but I am hoping he will in the upcoming debates.

That's pretty much why he is best suited to take on Hillary, because he counters her ability to lean on her experience and he can counter-jab her with his much more impressive record in both domestic and foreign policy.

Bush is a politician plain and simple, he will say anything the people want to hear.
In the long run he has always supported the actions of the other Bushes, and his stance has only changed since running for election. If elected he will do the same underhand tactics they did as well, remember the previous Bushes track record for policies at home are not that good.

We want the country to improve, not continue down sliding as the Bushes and Obama have created so far !!!

Cruz is by far the most principled and the smartest of the bunch.....At least as far as American principles and the constitution. However, Ben Carson is a brain surgeon so he is probably really the smartest. Lol.

If if they put forth an establishment "politician" again...the air will deflate from the conservative base and Hillary will be our next pres. God help us if she gets in. You'll be able to buy a baby brain right out the front door of planned parenthood.
