What do you have to say about hillarys racist remarks about calling latin people "needy". As well as an ex employee revealing that she called a black employee who worked for her the N-word. Seems like the one you support is not only incompetent at her job but she's racist as well.

The Constitution indicates that Congress may raise an army. Not to keep one going. Jefferson and Madison both demanded that there be no standing army.
This is absolutely true.

How could you not have a standing army when the liberals disarm the citizens?

Jefferson would have sent ships full of marines to the middle east to kick their a55.

Jefferson would never have done that. True he did send ships against pirates but that's because Americans in commercial vessels were under attack. Today Americans are not under attack in Iraq or Syria. This is why Jefferson would have disregarded what goes on there.

Reagan disarmed citizens in California. He was not a liberal.

Glad to know you agree with me that the government needs to be disarmed and the 2d Amendment protection to the citizens be guaranteed.

It appears that the gov't, and alot of politicians, has forgotten about what America was founded on. The people were fleeing from oppresive regimes in Europe and they were very aware of one thing: Never should an American gov't gain so much power that it would be able to oppress its citizens. The Constitution has during these 240 years seen to that.

As of today this is changing. The Constitutional rights are dwindling, even though that is unconstitutional. Why is this? The Old America was a land where every man, woman, child had to work hard together to get by. People were sweating for even a nickle, and nobody was expecting handouts. Somewhere along the road this has changed. we now have alot of people sitting on their butts doing nothing, but, like my granddad told me, there was plenty of those folks back in the 20s, 30s, 40s etc etc, thing is though, they had no voice, and they were ostracized in every thinkable manner. Nobody cared about them. And that is also wrong, because then rioting could be the next step.

Then somebody came up with the idea that society should carry a man's burdens through taxation. Long story short, this gave alot of non working people a steady income, which in turn teached them that working wasn't really necessary. History has laid it out for us, a non working society is a weak society. If the the working/non working ratio is heading the wrong direction we will be in serious trouble very soon. Also, this gave the gov't more power. Whenever people are dependent, they tend to be supportive of the power governing them. Step by step the people have been letting go of power, in fact to an extent that people now are supporting the 2016 Republican candidate. I can understand that, because the Old America is disappearing.

Yet I think supporting him is not the best way of reversing this. The country needs a nationwide change, a new guy in DC wont cut it, especially when this new guy has serious communication issues.

The states have to start passing laws that don't let executive power be leaving the states. The people needs to know that the power is to be found on a state level, not in a place surrounded by unclear visions, career politicians, crooked business men/women and pundits.

Conservatives are so fed up with Trump that they are taking back their endorsement of him:

[h=1]55 Top Military Leaders Break Tradition, Denounce Trump in Historic Rebuke[/h]

Donald Trump’s campaign was just dealt a death blow in the form of an open letter from over 50 U.S. military leaders.
In the letter, which was first published in the Wall Street journal, 55 generals and retired generals condemned the Republican presidential nominee over his remarks bragging about sexually assaulting women. The generals wrote that if Trump were to become Commander-in-Chief, the epidemic of sexual assault in the military would likely get worse.
“If Donald Trump is not repudiated, no amount of training and policy review will bring the changes needed in behavior,” the generals wrote. “During the Commander-in-Chief forum, Trump appeared to be very confused about the significance of this issue. He said that sexual assault should be expected in the military ‘When they put men and women together.'”
One of the signees of the letter was Lt. Gen. Claudia Kennedy, the nation’s first female three-star general. Kennedy told the Wall Street Journal that the letter struck a personal chord with her, as she herself had experienced sexual assault multiple times in the military. During one meeting with a subordinate officer, Kennedy recounted how the junior officer suddenly pulled her toward him and groped her after she concluded the meeting.
“The biggest thing we can do is get it out in the open and out of the shadows,” Kennedy told the Wall Street Journal. “Nobody is keeping any secrets here.”
Trump has long touted his endorsements from the military as one of his strengths as a candidate. It remains to be seen whether or not that will continue to be a talking point in the GOP nominee’s stump speeches.

Well I do think the Navy should be maintained as the constitution requires. We get rid of the air force and active duty Army, we could finally get that 600 ship navy and probably save a bunch of money.

I prefer an emphasis on Coast Guard rather than Navy but agree that we must end the standing army as our Founding Fathers demanded. Some people believe this is, somehow, unpatriotic. But all they need do is to read the writings of our Founders and they will easily see that we are correct.

What politician will protect the second ammendment?

By the way, when I think of conservatives, Reagan is not who comes to mind. I usually think of Coolidge.

The VAST majority of Americans support the 2d Amendment and it will remain as is for the rest of your lifetime and that of your great-great grandchildren.

That is guaranteed.

Did you hear after hillarys interview with Matt Lauer she was so angry she had a meltdown behind stage. In which she threw a glass of water on her assistant and was screaming at her staff. hmm that's some candidate you support.

I think the founders thought as I do that a navy is a necessary expeditionary force to protect American interest around the world. And yeah, if Jefferson had jihadies threatening Americans, he would have sent some frigates full of marines to whip up on them.

How do you explain the current president and his former Secretary of state wanting to ban or stop the transfer of a certain type of common firearm and ammunition feeding devices that contain more than a certain amount of ammunition?
