Early on my estimate of the case fatality rate was 3.2%. I now believe that it is quite a bit lower because there are asymptomatic cases that are never registered. The case fatality rate may be under one percent.......but we will never know without the benefit of a dedicated comprehensive study. But even without any dedicated study it is clear to anybody with common sense that one does not need to lockdown the entire economy, schools and churches because of the fear of COVID-19 infection. The only strictures that makes sense are those regarding elderly, who are in fact at high risk.
Double blind studies are the gold standard there is no doubt about that. But it is intellectually dishonest and patently false to state that one needs to conduct a double-blind study before reaching a robustly confident consensus on medical therapy. Furthermore HCQ (and its precursors and derivatives) has been thoroughly studied for many decades.
Demanding double blind studies for this specific therapy is complete nonsense, and is costing and has cost many lives. Furthermore many many reputable doctors are speaking out in support of HCQ.
IMO there are plenty of dirty doctors working with big Pharma out there looking for power and money. Fauci for one and there are plenty of others.

The proper research below clearly shows Hydroxy + Azithromycin has a 71% hazard reduction rating, that beats O% without treatment?

Results
Hydroxychloroquine provided a 66% hazard ratio reduction, and hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin 71% compared to neither treatment (p < 0.001).
Conclusions and relevance
In this multi-hospital assessment, when controlling for COVID-19 risk factors, treatment with hydroxychloroquine alone and in combination with azithromycin was associated with reduction in COVID-19 associated mortality. Prospective trials are needed to examine this impact.

Correct. Fauci should have been arrested, along with Gates and Soros, and prosecuted for a CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY to inflate deaths in th USA unnecessarily. You could fairly call him *Dr. Death*. That should have happened back in March, when the truth started coming out.
Had the HCQ package been freely available to absolutely anyone and everyone -- free of charge -- those deaths could have been cut in half or even more. Instead CDC, NIH, and all the so-called *experts* (along with the slavering media) ATTACKED HCQ. That is not only irresponsible, but criminal.
If trillions of dollars are going into these bogus *stimulus* packages, then a few hundred thousand dollars for the HCQ package wold have been drop in the bucket. The pharmacies would have been paid, but the public would not have to pay a dime.
But what is extremely troubling is that even after these evildoers have been outed Trump has done nothing. They continue to shape the narrative and set national policy. Which makes Trump an accessory.

Fauci is 100% a criminal, in the realm of Andrew Cuomo, and his mandate to send infected elderly into healthy Convalescent hospitals, while the Javits center and Navy hospital ship sat empty, with Doctors and nurses waiting?

It continues to be a curiosity for me. How a flu virus that we're being told is killing millions of people, world tally to date, when in America we also know those fatality numbers can't be trusted due to what came out about the HHS ordering doctors to declare all patients who die must have Covid 19 as the attributable cause marked on their death certificate, and untold numbers of people world wide testing positive for Covid 19, even though in America we learn we can't trust those numbers because it is being revealed that people who have not been tested are notified they tested positive for C19, that anyone would denigrate any drug, hope, people may have to fight this supposedly rampant pandemic novel virus.
But still, what helps to remember and keep the joy of Christ in my heart is taking a break to watch cute baby and puppy videos, and to then realize there is a truth to the old axiom, Devil's advocate. Some, like whom I believe to be Fauci, are entirely his.
In that capacity and in the spirit of sharing with sisters and brothers who have a genuine concern for the eradication of at least the fear that's been implanted in American society concerning Covid 19, I share this.

Although co-infection with SARS CoV and another agent has not been ruled out as the cause of SARS (particularly in “superspreaders” causing numerous secondary cases), SARS CoV alone seems likely to be the cause of most cases of SARS and can reproduce the disease in non-human primates.1,2 Coronaviruses have the distinction of containing the largest genome of all known RNA viruses. They are widespread throughout the animal kingdom, causing bronchitis (poultry), hepatitis (mice), enteritis (horses and pigs) and peritonitis (cats), but often infecting multiple sites. Known coronaviruses fall into three clades (members of two of which cause about 20% of common colds), but the SARS CoV occupies a new fourth clade of its own. It is clearly a coronavirus, but not closely related to any previously sequenced virus.
