Trump spoke about those ballots and Biden called it a lie.

I agree these next few months will be some tribulations for sure.
I have no doubt that the Democrats will resort to any low in order to get Trump out of the White House.

And now right after the debate we hear Biden tested negative for Covid while Trump, whom the left claims didn't do enough in response, as did Biden at the first debate, has tested positive.

I think somethings up with that. It is like they're trying to imply he's getting his just desserts for not responding swiftly enough to the Corona outbreak in its beginning.

They are the Biblical definition of fools. Cut off from wisdom and logic turns futile.

 Love the satire in the Bee. They have very talented creative writers aboard.
Yah they have been really good lately. Now they have Notthebee which is real news that sounds like it could be satire.

Trump's supposed past personal failings are NOT THE SAME as his platform or the platform of the GOP!
Correct. TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME is all about Trump's personal failings.

Not an honest word is spoken or published by the media about Trump's NUMEROUS AND REAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS, which have contributed to putting America back on track. I have personally criticized many of his failures, but he has also had numerous successes, and has even been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (which someone misspelled as "Noble" when it has in fact become ignoble, e.g. giving it to Obama for doing absolutely nothing).

Had the media been doing their jobs honestly and faithfully, there would be a steady stream of BALANCED REPORTING which would certainly highlight all the good and great things accomplished by Donald Trump within less than 4 years (in spite of daily attacks and sabotage by the Left, the Right, and the media).

No one said a single word about Obama's treason only because he was black. And no one exposed Biden, Clinton, Rice, Jarrett, Holder, Lynch, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Wray, Mueller, etc, when they had actually committed felonies, sedition, and treason. In fact all the vitriol directed at Trump was in order to deflect attention from the sins and wickedness of the Democrats and the Deep State under Obama.

People should understand clearly and soberly that the USA and the free world are fighting for their very survival as democracies and republics at this time. If -- God forbid -- Biden wins (by hook or by crook) that will be the end of freedom and the beginning of Leftist tyranny worldwide.

Totally agree. It's do or die time. The fate of the Republic depends on everyone getting out and voting in person. This vast ongoing conspiracy to eliminate Trump must be thwarted by reelecting him. Americans must also retake the house. The majority that inhabits it now does not deserve that power. AOC and Omar and others must be unelected or in the case of Omar, arrested for immigration fraud. How she has evaded indictment so far is quite beyond me, and speaks to the endemic corruption of the system.

When I lived in Orlando a freeze would happen every 2 or 3 years. I have lived in Clearwater for 6 years which is next to Tampa and St. Petersburg and haven't seen a freeze. It might have something to do with being on the gulf. Last couple of mornings in got down to the mid 60's and less humidity.
Tourist, do you hunt or fish in Florida?

I think you are most likely correct regarding the gulf. we keep on hand plenty of coverings for the more tender plants when it does freeze. My husband was living close to Orlando when we met. He prefers the country like I do and we really like where we are living now. more central with a little closer to the gulf

any day there is not so much humidity is a good day :giggle:

I think a Mom with a flip flop could have been a better moderator just whack up upside the head when they don't behave..... well it would have been amusing to watch anyway....
it would have had to have been on a selfie stick...social distancing and everything

The yellow ones with chocolate dipped bottoms are the best.
I'm not a peeps fan but my husband likes them. I'm into the jelly beans...yum yum...not a whole lot I don't like though but since I am not keen on marshmallows, probably why I pass on the peeps

story behind that: when I was a kid, my cousin pilfered a bag of marshmallows and he and I stuffed ourselves. after I didn't feel very good in my marshmallow comma and ever since then I pass.

here's a peeps cake with chocolate for you ;)

I'd be willing to eat one piece.... I like marshmallows most in hot chocolate the small ones and I love to roast them on a fire but marshmallows not a huge fan myself. Although I love rice krispie treats made with marshmallows.

The cold fronts should be starting this month that will lower the temps a few degrees with more drier air. I always look forward to the cold fronts that usually start in October. Plus, our electric bill should start being lower a few dollars every month. That A/C eats up the kilowatts for sure.

I actually lived in Apopka which is about 10 miles NW Orlando and Mt. Dora which is about 10 miles west of Apopka. Lived in that area for 20 years.

The thing about central Florida is that there is usually little to no breeze during the summer months. Where we are living now (5 miles from the gulf) there is a breeze just about every day. I would say that our temps are usually about 4 -5 degrees lower than Orlando.

I lived an hour from Universal Studios and Walt Disney World and have been there a bunch of times, usually during Florida resident days for discount tickets. My favorite theme park is the Magic Kingdom, I have probably been there at least 15 times alone as well as Epcot, Hollywood Studio, Animal Kingdom and the two water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. I like Universal Studios as well, and their Islands of Adventure. Most of these visits were with my daughter as she was growing up and also my family. My daughter Jacklynne was a Disney Kid and I was a Disney Dad. Later, we took her daughter and her husband. She loves that place.

REPORT: Joe Biden's Texas Political Director Accused Of Mass Ballot Harvesting Scheme

https://thefederalistpapers.org/us/...irector-accused-mass-ballot-harvesting-scheme

According to Hot Air, Biden’s newly-hired Texas political director, Dallas Jones, has been accused by two people, under oath, of running a large ballot harvesting operation in the great state of Texas. The two persons shedding light on the scam include a retired FBI agent and a former high-ranking member of the Houston police department. Both persons alleged the information in a sworn affidavit, under oath.

I will whip us up a batch. If you add melted baking cocoa squares it tastes like a crispy brownie. Peanut butter works too. When I lived in Maine I made Rice Krispies treats for my late father-in-law every night after work for 6 months straight, even bought the ingredients. Also to help my mother-in-law out I did the dishes each night for 4 years. My mother-in-law criticized me one night and said that I was going to turn into a Rice Krispies treat. I told her that I am not doing this for myself but for her husband. She got quiet after that. There was no shortage of drama during my exile in Maine.

Well, that's one. I'm sure there are more out there.

Remember during the debate Trump said ballots sent in by overseas military personnel were found in the garbage and all bore the vote for Trump?

I admit, of all the elections since I've been able to vote this one has me worried. With everything the Democrats have gotten away with to date, what won't they try up to and including this election?
