But anyway... WHO really cares how many illgals voted! Trump WON!! :D
Donald Trump cares, it would appear. 'Tis a shame, then, that the journalists and interested citizens will never be able to review the source of his outlandish claim. Like his tax returns, it's bound to be another eternal mystery. Probably Infowars or some other tinfoil hat website.

Ah, but it would appear as though one of his spokespersons stuck up for him by citing a refuted Washington Post study, which asserted that approximately 15% of undocumented immigrants were registered to vote. Even if the data were reliable and such a large number of undocumented immigrants were registered to vote, that represents approximately 1.65 million illegal voters. Even if every single one of those immigrants voted, Clinton would still have won the popular vote. Realistically, only a tiny percentage of those voters would probably try voting in a national election.

It's truly a tragedy that this man is poised to become the next POTUS when the GOP fielded much better candidates, like John Kasich. Mark my words -- in four years, decency will prevail and the American people will correct this mistake. Those who were conned by a masterful con artist will wake up and shake off this populist trance like a bad case of fleas.

Shouldn't you be praying for Trump instead of anticipating a downfall? You know, pray that God leads him and gives him wisdom and understanding? A good council? Patience? Among other things, it would seem these are things you should be doing instead of being so pessimistic and, quite frankly, wrong. In four years, if Trump does an exceptional job, you would probably still be bashing him and "prophesying" of an impeachment in the next four years after the first four. Your words fall to the ground.

I don't kno
w about your relationship with God, but maybe you should seek the Lord on this matter. As it is you're not helping with your pessimism and speaking all kinds of negativity to what end? Have hope, dream a little. Have faith. Believe and pray that God will work through Trump for the sake of this nation, His church, and our relationship with Israel. Even so, for the preaching of the Gospel.

The popular vote seems to be your rant. Give it up. The election
is not won by popular vote. Your dead horse stinks.

Er, the point of my post -- and the thread -- was to call attention to Trump's false claim. I'm well aware of the existence of the electoral college, and although I believe it would be better for our nation to embrace a simple popular vote system, I'm not trying to make anything of it.

Re: Trump's bizarre claim that "millions of illegal votes" cost him the popular vote

A Partial History of Hillary's Abuses

TRAVELGATE (starts @ 12:32)
The Clintons fired the (long term) White House Travel Office employees, allowing their wealthy Hollywood friends to take over the lucrative travel business (worth 31 million annually). This led to investigations by the FBI, DOJ, GAO, Oversight Committee, and the Whitewater Independent Counsel. The Clintons claimed the firings were due to financial misdeeds, but the employees were cleared on all counts.

Hillary Clinton allegedly played a central role in the firings, yet in her sworn testimony, she claimed she was not involved. The Independent Counsel found this to be factually inaccurate, and that she made factually false statements. The Clintons were forced to remove their friends and reinstate the previous employees.

VINCE FOSTER'S DEATH (starts @ 13:19)
Vince Foster, the long time friend and companion of Hillary Clinton, was significantly involved in several Clinton scandals. Due to the strange circumstances surrounding his death in 1993, an investigation ensued. Before the police arrived, Clinton staffers illegally removed boxes of documents on Whitewater and presumably Travelgate and other sensitive issues.

HILLARY CARE (@ 13:43)
President (Bill) Clinton put his wife in charge of the most expensive program in the country. It was a national outrage that the unelected, unqualified first lady was going to design America's Health Care System. In a 1993 interview, Hillary Clinton admitted, "I am not an expert on healthcare, I'm not somebody who has studied it."

Hillary Clinton kept the presidential task force on National Healthcare reform shrouded in such secrecy that a federal judge threatened to hold the administration in contempt. Two years later the health care plan was a 1,342 page nightmare, including gatekeepers, health alliances, purchasing co-operatives, new and higher taxes, and restrictions on choosing doctors. Physicians, hospitals, large and small businesses, insurance companies, Democrats, Republicans, and the general public rejected the program, and it failed disastrously.

The general accounting office put a price tag of
thirty two million dollars on Hillary Clinton's health care fiasco. For dishonesty, Hillary Clinton and others were fined $450,000.00 (four hundred and fifty thousand dollars). Court costs to taxpayers were $725,000.00 (seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars). In 1996, with Hillary Care fresh in their minds, Americans voted both the Senate and the House into Republican hands for the first time in over four decades.

WHITEWATER INVESTIGATIONS (@ 15:13)
In 1994, president Clinton's attorney general Janet Reno initiated an investigation focusing on fraud accusations against the Clintons, regarding their real estate venture, Whitewater Development Corporation, co-owned with their friends Jim and Susan McDougal. Hillary Clinton was the central figure, and the probe revealed pervasive conflicts of interest between the Rose Law Firm where Hillary Clinton was partner and its client Madison Guaranty, owned by Clinton business partner Jim McDougal.

Hillary Clinton claimed billing records subpoenaed and critical to the investigation were lost. It is presumed they were stolen from Vince Foster's office the night he died. Nineteen months later, following the Clinton's acquittal, many of the "missing" records reappeared in the Clinton's residence. As they were covered with Hillary Clinton's fingerprints, she fell under suspicion of obstruction of justice.

Their business partner Susan McDougal refused to testify against the Clintons, assuring they were not charged. Susan McDougal went to prison for her silence, but was pardoned by president Clinton. Fifteen Clinton associates were convicted of forty federal crimes related to Whitewater. The Independent Counsel's report highlighted: "The president's abundant and calculating lies under oath, obstruction of justice and abuse of power... " During this case, many other alleged abuses were uncovered. The four and a half year expanded investigation cost taxpayer $145 million dollars.

CATTLEGATE (@ 16:58)
Hillary Clinton's trades in cattle futures raised suspicions of improprieties, as her very first trade of five thousand dollars quickly turned into over $490,000.00 (four hundred and ninety thousand dollars plus, more than five times the rate of others who invested at the same time she had, sold at the peak of the market during the same period). She refused to release her tax returns for the years in question.

Hillary Clinton insisted that she made all the investment decisions herself. The investigation proved her trades were actually placed by her friend James Blair through the brokerage firm Refco. James Blair was outside counsel for Tyson Foods, the largest employer in Arkansas, which is state regulated. The perception was Mrs. Clinton received preferential treatment and incredible financial returns as a way to garner favor with her husband, then governor of Arkansas. Refco was investigated, and paid the largest fines in the history of the exchange.

FILEGATE (@ 18:00)
The Clinton Administration improperly requested and received FBI background reports on 900 Republican officials. Hillary Clinton allegedly initiated the request to add data into her enemies' list, leading to three separate investigations in 1996. In testimony, the White House Personnel Security Director refused to name Hillary Clinton as the source of the request and he was forced to resign. Hillary Clinton claimed she was guiltless and was called a "congenital liar" in the New York Times (by columnist William Safire).

THE CLINTON LEGAL DEFENSE FUND (@ 18:38)
The fund was established so individuals or companies hoping to garner favor with the president could help pay the Clinton's endless legal bills.

CHINAGATE (@ 18:49)
In 1996 the Justice Department investigated campaign
abuses and cover-ups by the Clintons in connection with an effort by China to influence administration policies. In violation of US law, agents for the Chinese government and military funnelled millions into president Clinton's re-election campaign, the Clinton Legal Defense Fund, and the DNC. The DOJ's report stated "a pattern of events suggests a level of knowledge within the White House - including the president's and first lady's offices - concerning the injection of foreign funds into the re-election effort."

IRS ABUSES (@ 19:33)
The Clintons were accused of using the IRS to harass their enemies, including Republican politicians, the White House Travel Office, the NRA, Judicial Watch, the Heritage Foundation, and other conservative organizations. A senior IRS official admitted that Clinton opponents were singled out for tax audits. Also audited were Bill Clinton's female accusers, including Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, and Elizabeth Ward Gracen.

PARDONGATE (@ 20:08)
As he was leaving office in January 2001, President (Bill) Clinton pardoned 450 people for crimes ranging from cocaine trafficking to kidnapping and terrorism. Several pardons personally benefitted Hillary Clinton, and were investigated for direct ties to her New York senate bid.

>> Marc Rich (on FBI's 10 most wanted list) a billionaire fugitive, owed the government over 160 million dollars, and was charged with tax evasion, wire fraud, racketeering, and trading with Iran. Rich's ex-wife Denise Rich, a close friend of the Clintons, donated over $600,000,00 (six hundred thousand dollars plus) to the Clinton Presidential Library just prior to the pardon. Mrs. Rich also gave $14,000.000 (fourteen thousand dollars) to the Clinton Legal Defense Fund, and $135,000.000 (one hundred and thirty five thousand dollars) to Hillary Clinton's senate campaign.

>> The New Square Four were elders of a republican voting Hassidic community convicted of defrauding the government of millions of dollars. Candidate Clinton met with their grand rabbi.
Hillary Clinton received their votes and The New Square Four received their pardons. Hillary Clinton claimed "I did not play any role whatsoever in the pardons."

-Hillary Clinton's brother, lawyer Hugh Rodham, charged high fees to use his family influence to obtain presidential pardons. (Two examples: )

>> Carlos Vignali (a Los Angeles drug lord) paid Rodham over $500,000.00 (five hundred thousand dollars) and his sentence for cocaine trafficking was commuted.

>> Almon Braswell (a scam artist) paid Rodham over $250,000.00 (two hundred and fifty thousand dollars) and was pardoned for defrauding senior citizens of millions of dollars.

>> FALN Terrorists, fighting for Puerto Rican independence, the FALN exploded 138 bombs in New York City, Chicago, and Puerto Rico. During a ten year reign of terror, thirteen innocent people were killed, and over eighty were maimed. NYC councilman Jose Rivera met with Hillary Clinton, proposing pardons for FALN members in return for Puerto Rican support in her senate race (whoa, peacenik comes to mind :p). Two days later president Clinton pardoned sixteen FALN terrorists (convicted on murder, terrorism and weapons charges.)

These pardons were condemned by democrats and republicans, the House and Senate, the FBI, the US Attorney, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and the Fraternal Order of Police. Another probe into Clinton wrongdoing ensued. When Congress requested additional information, President Clinton claimed Executive Privilege, preventing anyone involved with the pardons from testifying. Hillary Clinton claimed "No involvement in or prior knowledge of the decision."
(Former democratic president Jimmy Carter called these shameless pardons "disgraceful.")

HILLARY'S CAMPAIGN FINANCE INVESTIGATIONS (@ 23:13)
The largest political fundraiser in US history became the largest election fraud in history. In the year 2000, the fundraiser for Hillary Clinton's New York senate race was attended by 1,300 (one thousand three hundred) people, including the Hollywood elite and the Democratic leadership.

In violation of federal elections statutes, an individual, Peter Paul, financed the entire event. Peter Paul was also a convicted cocaine trafficker.

In violation, Hillary Clinton was involved with the solicitation of funds and the coordination of the gala.

In violation, Hillary Clinton requested in writing an additional $150,000.00 (one hundred and fifty thousand dollars) from Peter Paul, in untraceable securities.

The Clinton's campaign filings with the Federal Elections' Committee stated the event only cost $500.000.00 (five hundred thousand dollars, or half a million dollars). The actual price tag was one point five million. Senator Clinton was fined over $50,000.00 (fifty thousand dollars) for "purposefully underreporting" the cost of the event (the largest in history). In another campaign finance fraud, Hillary Clinton ignored FBI warnings and accepted over $900,000,00 (nine hundred thousand dollars) from scam artist and felon Norman Hsu.

* * *
Hillary Clinton has had power as first lady, U.S. senator and secretary of State, now she wants to achieve the ultimate in power, the presidency of the United States. Along this road we have seen her record and it is a trail of cover-ups, misstatements, dissemblings, half-truths and outright lies. It is increasingly difficult to give her the benefit of the doubt on anything because doubt would imply there might be some reason to believe that at least some of the things she says are true. Hillary Clinton is a congenital liar - Washington Times

* * *
Regarding the defense of the Clintons in the face of scandal after scandal:
Most people close to the Clintons say it is endless.
FBI Director, Freeh:

"The problem was with Bill Clinton, the scandals and rumored scandals, the incubating ones and the dying ones never ended. Whatever moral compass the president was consulting was leading him in the wrong direction. His closets were full of skeletons just waiting to burst out."

Freeh says he was preoccupied for eight years with multiple investigations, including Whitewater, Jennifer Flowers and the Monica Lewinsky affair.

He found it deeply awkward and frustrating to be constantly investigating his boss and says it became 'theater of the absurd' when special prosecutor Ken Starr asked him to get a DNA sample from the president to compare with that notorious stain on Lewinsky's dress.

Bill Clinton was the second president of the United States of America to be impeached. On Dec 19, 1998, the US House of Representatives voted on articles of impeachment against William Jefferson Clinton. He was found guilty of providing perjurious, false, and misleading testimony to the grand jury, and he prevented, obstructed, and impeded the administration of justice.

Bill Clinton's brother: My brother (Bill Clinton) has a nose like a vacuum.

"... my name would be mud, my FBI career would be over, and I might even be in danger if the stories coming from Little Rock (Arkansas) were true about how so many enemies of the Clintons ended up having fatal accidents." Gary Aldrich, special agent to the FBI assigned to the White House.

If you are GENUINELY "not trying to make anything of it"...

it stretches credulity that you would be here wasting everyone's time.

However, I fully support your effort in "not trying to make anything of it".

If you really apply yourself, I have complete faith in you, I believe you can do it! I believe you can truly succeed in "not trying to make anything of it" with much greater fortitude than you've mustered to date.

Now, get out there and make us proud! Show us how well you can do in "not trying to make anything of it!"

What happened to Grasshopper?
He got jumpy, and left...

Getting 20 percent of a population to vote would be a nearly impossible feat in itself
Not when they are motivated to get free stuff and citizenship... which is what hillary was offering

most of those 10-15 million illegals are probably illiterate in english and wouldn't even have the faintest clue how to vote in the first place!
But, liberals are all too happy to help them learn the only word they need to know when they go in to vote... hillery

War occurred. Maybe we can learn, maybe not. One thing is different, more are awake and I pray "We won't get fooled again!"
Yeah you can either submit to islam which is what liberals want... or you can stand up and fight for our God given freedoms which is what the repub are supposed to be about, when they aren't trying to be like liberals just so nobody in the media says anything bad about them (most repubs are sissys)

Re: Trump's bizarre claim that "millions of illegal votes" cost him the popular vote

If you are speaking of a true Democracy, then I have to disagree and side with the Founding Fathers. If folks think corruption exists now, under our present system, then they would be blown away at the level of corruption that would exist under a true Democracy........where everything was decided by a vote of the people, and the "majority" rules.

Everything...........EVERYTHING would have to be voted on by the people. There would be no President, no Congress, no Courts..............for the "majority" would rule, and their decisions would be Law.

Chaos would ensue, and corruption would flourish.

Too many Americans do not understand or appreciate just how fantastic a job the Founding Fathers did with our Constitution and the formation of a Democratic REPUBLIC! I can't believe how many folks from Washington get on TV and talk about our Nation as a Democracy.........goodness.......

One has to think through ALL of the concept of a true Democracy..........how would anyone ever have time to work? Or anything else for that matter. Our peoples would spend all their time debating issues and casting votes to determine what our Law would reflect concerning each issue.

The Electoral College system may not be perfect, but it is far better than anything in this world today. The ONLY Government better than ours is His. The Lord God! A benevolent King who loves His children beyond belief, and with absolute power.

Kasich?
I think not! He's for open boarders and refugees. Decency has prevailed. From the rust belt to the Bible belt the country stood up and with their vote said no more of this false "hope and change". We've had enough. Its a door slammed shut in the face of Obama and his "legacy". And this is what liberals refuse to get. They cannot admit that they missed the pulse of the entire country. From blacks to Latinas to soccer moms, they missed it. Hillary tripped out every Hollywood darling she could find and nothing. That goes to show where her head is at. Yet liberals refuse to get it. They are being obtuse. We don't want globalism,we don't want open boarders,we don't want a million refugees,we want private sector jobs,we dont want PC foolishness. We're tired of them peeing on us and telling us its raining. The silent majority, the middle class, the hardest working people in the country woke up,stood up, and said "%$## no,we're not taking it anymore! And until liberals get that, they will have their noses pressed up against the window wondering what happened and why are they in the doghouse instead of in the White House.
