This is a sad example of pitiful Liberal sniviling. I honestly thought you were above that sort of thing.

"Oh, the man will not walk on water, so he is not worth anything." He wants to do ten times what our last president did, but if he can only do eight times what Obama did, we should stone him."

Some of your comments shouldn't even come out of an adult's mouth....... You're expecting, maybe, The Great Wall of China?
Sometimes I think I'm too harsh and critical of liberals, but then someone in whom I have great respect presents an excellent summations of their own, and I feel justified. Thanks Willie.

I expect that it won't be long till some LIBERAL finds some reason to complain about even that, and tries to make Trump out to be something evil because he doesn't drink.

false self entitlement, that's the closest my finite vocabulary comes to describe the mentality. We use the label "Liberalism" but it goes beyond that. It's an ideology that we have constant "opportunity" to either resist or embrace based on the spell of programming we're saturated by. Just what are we entitled to? Look at that question like an adult, and if we are Christian we have even more truth to meet that question head on. Just my two cents.

Which whine were you speaking of? The one where I complimented him? Or where I simply stated the truth about how things work? Speaking of whining............folks who can't even accept and acknowledge simple truth are truly blinded by their whine.

Do you prefer Swiss or Provalone with that whine?

???

So, in your description, which part of it is GREAT? And are you actually naive enough to not understand that there are sections of our Southern Border where a wall (great or small) can not be built?

I would imagine, President Trump is describing a wall.

wall

wôl

noun
noun: wall; plural noun: walls

Trump did address that: the fact that the wall may not be continuous because it does not need to be, or how it might take some other form in places, such as being a fence when a fence would be appropriate. How does that make the wall that will be, any less great? Twenty one years ago Clinton talked about taking more aggressive action to keep illegals out and to deport those already in your country, and he got a standing ovation, while millions keep entering :p

Simple. It is IMPOSSIBLE TO END illegal immigration. Other than to open our borders, recend ALL Immigration Laws, and welcome everyone to enter. As it is an impossible task to accomplish, and promise to keep, such a statement can only be intended to fire up the base.

Trump spent his entire campaign fanning the flames of the anger and hate of many of his followers, and illegal immigration was one of the issues he habitually used to do this. If anyone denies this, there is not one ounce of truth in them.

You are surely not aware of the numerous posts where I have railed against the liberals for their failure of minorities and the poor in this Country. I have always held that the liberals have enslaved the minorities (especially in the inner cities) through the use of Social Hand Outs, reducing them to Political and Economic slaves. And, apparently you (and others) simply can not understand or accept the point of my statement. Trump promised to do this, even though he and the world KNOWS he, nor anyone else CAN do it. Point being, why is in necessary to publicly make such statements, rather than just telling the truth? All he had to say is that his Administration intended to do all they could to help those in the inner cities to be free of the gang crime and drugs that infest the inner cities. Promising to END those problems sets a standard that he can never meet.

Can't help but notice that the usual suspects here could NOT BRING themselves to acknowledge my compliment Trump on a lot of his speech. Just can't bring yourselves to lay aside the "hate" can you? As well, not a one of you answered my questions. Hmm.............

You guys are a One Trick Pony, attack, demean, degrade, dismiss any and all who do not bow down and worship at the feet of Trump. How is offering a review of his speech putting him down? How is complementing his comments on the Military, Obamacare, and Taxes putting him down?

I truly wish you guys could find one ounce of truth, honesty, and integrity within yourselves, truly I do.

I dont understand how "ending illegal immigration" equals "tossing red meat to the angry masses".

Why does having issues with illegal immigration now equal rage and hatred?

And anywho, of course he wont make the country perfect now and forever, I dont think anyone really believes that : p Id rather see a president talk about real issues than see our president continue with pushing the racial and gender issues the media seems so intent on pushing on us. I believe that those groups who claim to have been fighting racism these past few years have created more racism by their actions, and Im glad to have a coming president who will not pander to them.

We can ask "will Trump really help clean up inner cities?", but I have to ask, have the democrats really helped all that much with that issue? Doesnt seem like it : p Might as well give Trump the chance before we immediately put him down before hes even started : p

He may end up being a terrible president, who knows. Thats the risk you take every time you vote : p I still prefer him over the other choice : p

It may be impossible to completely end illegal immigration, because even if ONE person enters illegally, you could claim illegal immigration has not been stopped. I don't think that is any reason to sit back and do nothing about it.

In speeches past, he has acknowledged that he can not build a "great wall" across the length of our Southern land Border, however, I was remarking on his Ohio Speech. In this speech, he did not! And, he offered no "definition" of what a "GREAT wall" would look like. Nor has any of his supporters here. Every President has failed to keep illegal immigrants out of America. Every single one. Which is why I can not understand why Trump would stand before the world and proclaim that he would END ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. It makes no sense, OTHER THAN to feed the angry masses. He has to be smart enough to know he can not end illegal immigration, so why make such a comment?

I would love for one of his supporters to offer a reasonable explanation........or, they (the three of them) can just keep doing what they do best...........attack, demean, degrade, and deny the truth.

Trump did address that: the fact that the wall may not be continuous because it does not need to be, or how it might take some other form in places, such as being a fence when a fence would be appropriate. How does that make the wall that will be, any less great? "All Americans, not only in the states most heavily affected, but in every place in our country, are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants, the public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers. That's why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more, by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens.

"In the budget I will present to you we will try to do more to speed the deportation of illegal aliens who are arrested for crimes, to better identify illegal aliens in the workplace, as recommended by the commission headed by former congresswoman Barbara Jordan. We are a nation of immigrants, but we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years and we must do more to stop it."

Yep, Bill Clinton got a standing ovation for that, one of many during his 1995 State of the Union Address. Twenty one years later, Donald Trump gets called a racist for wanting to secure the southern border, and is called on the carpet for wanting to do something to put an end to illegal immigration. Meanwhile:

The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has estimated that 11.4 million unauthorized immigrants lived in the United States in January 2012.

The DHS releases yearly reports from which the rate of new illegal immigration can be estimated. The most recent data is from FY 2015. One has to combine visa overstays and cross-border illegal entries from separate reports.

For fiscal year 2015, DHS reports that the number of new visa overstays (not counting late departures) was 527,127

The number of immigrants that cross the border illegally each year are not directly countable, and are estimated from the number who are caught trying. For FY 2015, DHS reported 337,117 apprehensions. Using an estimated catch rate of 33%, the number crossing without detection would be 674,000 per year (2 successful entries for each 1 apprehended).

The rate of new illegal immigrants, combining both sources is 1,201,000 in FY 2015.

Interesting comment........especially from you. Speaking of things that shouldn't come out of an adult's mouth.......

There isn't one part of my post that could be described as "sniveling" except by the Trumpsters here. I honestly though YOU were above such a comment as this. I honestly thought you could at least recognize the pandering language in his speech, and be honest enough to admit that it WAS PANDERING. Guess I was wrong too........huh?

I did not say a word about him not walking on water, or any such. Can any of you display ONE OUNCE of truth? Or all of you so blinded by your hate and anger that truth is beyond your grasp?

No acknowledgement that I complemented him. None whatsoever. But then, hard to "hate" on me for complimenting him isn't it? And neither you, or any of the others, answered my questions. Just pouring out the hate and anger which is the way of things with the Trumpsters here. Goodness.

The hatred among you guys runs so deep that I don't see how it will ever end. The complete lack of truth with which you guys respond to a simple review of a speech clearly reveals this.

This is a sad example of pitiful Liberal sniviling. I honestly thought you were above that sort of thing.

Are you asking about illegal immigration? About ending gang crime/violence and drugs in our inner cities?

As for illegal immigration. You may not be aware of our Nations Borders, and what they look like/consist of. Thousands and thousands of miles of land and sea. It would be impossible to secure every inch of our Borders. Common sense should lead anyone to realize this, but common sense is not always practiced by folks here. Neither is honesty.

Why is it impossible?

If the technology and expenditure that is used on foreign entanglements were employed instead on looking after Americans, why not?

I agree Clinton was a failure. I agree that EVERY PRESIDENT we have ever had has failed to end illegal immigration. So, I don't understand why the failures of Clinton are necessary to publish? How about both of the Bush Presidents? Did they end illegal immigration? Nope, Nor did Reagan. He did deport some, but the flood across the border remained.

Why couldn't Trump simply say that his Administration was going to make every effort to drastically reduce the number of illegal immigrants crossing our borders, and every thing it could to secure our Southern Border? What is wrong with just telling the truth? Why make such statements that he KNOWS he can not accomplish, or promises he can't keep.

BTW, Clinton ain't President no more.............you guys are just like the liberals who keep blaming/dragging up Bush every time someone criticizes Obama. :)

The land along the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico are part of our Nations borders. They are patrolled by both the Coast Guard and Border Patrol Agents. All Ports are as well. I would think folks would know this.

Have no idea who you are talking to, or what you are suggesting...........unless you have a specific plan on how to END illegal immigration, just asking questions like this serves no purpose.
